Chapter 18:Bonds Deeper Than Time

Kr: dad what is sharon's blood group

Dad: why suddenly '

Kr: simply just wanted to know if her blood group is the

Kriya was shocked but didn't really show it on her face

Her entire assumption was wrong.

Kr: Phir doctor baat kiski baat kar rahe the

Kriya then decided to find out on her own. She bid bye to

her father who decided to go home and come back later

after attending an important conference. It was his and

Mr. Shekhawats dream project. He felt it would be a

much better option to continue the project despite the

situation since they wouldn't get this chance again and his

would be the one who would be more upset.

Kriya then took out her phone dialled the 2^nd number on

her speed dial "Reyaansh Singhania"

But to her dismay this leave picking up the call he had

switched off her mobile.

Now she was really mad at him, she questioned unverji as

to how her rey had become so insensitive or he had no

knowledge about the situation at all or could it be he was

in some kind of trouble. Her head was filled with questions

which didn't seem like they were going to get an answer

for a while atleast not until the MCP was going to switch

on his mobile.

She knew it was utterly pointless to try to play Nancy

drew here and derive theories for her baseless conclusion

which which usually result in the senseless and worthless

misunderstanding. Then the realization which should have

struck her years back finally did its job.

Kriya(to herself)

Kriya tu jhali ki jhali hi rehegi

mai itna kyu soch rahi hu

Obviously agar rey apne kisi kaam se bahar gaye hai toh

Mosty I mean they are like the best friends who share so

Then kriya walked through the hospital this time

registering her way as she didn't want to be the lost kid

again.

Kriya finally managed to find her dear sister who was with

the doctor getting an update about Mr. Shekhawats

condition she guessed.

As kriya approached her sister

Doc: yes he is fine just a little weakness after he has

donated more than the quantity usually permitted so it is

natural

Don't you worry everything will be fine

But I don't understand as to why would you want to hide

this matter from your friend

Sh: Its not like that sir

It's a little complicated and hard to explain so if you don't

mind I would choose not too

Doc: yes of couse it is none of my business

Anywhere let me know if there is any problem

Other than that you could take him home with in a day

Sh: thank you so much doctor

Doc: it is us who should be really thankful

Then the docter left and Sharon looked at her watch went

inside and a few minutes later came out with her bag and

then left.

Kriya through out the conversation kept thing about the

situation. The thought that the person that both were

speaking of could be rey came across her mind, so she

decided to venture inside the ward after Sharon left.

As she did she saw what she did want to see, she saw him

lying there with his hand above his eyes to avoid the

sunlight from the opened window trying to sleep.

A slight smile crept upon her beautiful lips, the very sight

of his made her so happy. And here she was complaining

and cursing him for not being present there to give them

courage. But what he gave all of them was much more

bigger than courage, he had given a person life.

Today kriya was proud and sad at the same time, proud

for having realized how caring Rey was and to what

extend he could go to help people and sad for the fact

that she was doubting his friendship.

She looked at him and wondered how could someone be so

perfect and what good she must have done in her previous

life that she was given a gift so perfect that every girl on

earth would crave for.

He had fallen asleep by now, she tip toed to his side and

sat on the ground keeping her head on her two hands

which overlapped lying on the bed edge giving her the

perfect height for the perfect sight his sleeping face

which still flinged in irritation due to the light. The minute

she realized she got up and slowly pulled the curtains

making it dark enough to help him get proper sleep.

She then again re-assumed her position as well as her

thought process

Kriya:

Rey aap itne acche kyu ho

Chote mote jhagade karte ho

par kabhi aisa nahi jisse mujhe taklif pahuche

maine aap ko itni takleef pahuchai

par phir bhi aapne mera sath nahi choda

kabhi ye janna chaha ki maine aisa kyu kiya

Her thoughts pondered over the various moments that

were just perfect because of his presence, he was always

their savior, so on and so forth.

And don't know when she too joined rey in his dreamland.

After a moment she heard a creeking noise of the door

opennning and she jumped behind to her feet and hid

behind the long curtains.

A woman entered and placed her hand on Rey's fore head

Kr (whispered to herself): Ankita aunty

Unhe pata tha, phiir unhone kuch bataya kyu nahi

Rey was woken up by her touch and got up in a sitting

position

There was a silence in that room for a minute, a very

uncomfortable silence.

An: Rey aapko aisa nahi karna chahiye tha

Rey: Kya nahi karna chahiye tha

An: Aap bahot aachi tarah se jaante hai ki hum kis cheez

ki baat kar rahe hai

Kyu kiya aapne aisa

Aapko us insaan ko apna khoon dene ki koi zarurat nahi thi

Rey: Ankita yeh aap kya kehe rahi hai

He would have died

An: No rey, not would have

Should have

He doesn't deserve to live

And you should know this better than anyone else

Does that mean

You have forgiven him

I guess you don't hate him anymore is it?

Please, don't conclude on your baseless assumptions

I hate him ok

Hate him from the bottom of my heart

But that is for me

Does not mean that I become heartless

I cannot leave him dying like that

No matter how much I run, no matter how much I want to

Ankita understood what Rey wanted to say but still she

was mad because according to her that man really didn't

deserve to live.

She left banging the door behind her

Rey sat there on the bed taking a deep breath trying to

calm himself.

Then he turned at the curtains

Rey: Kriya, mujhe pata hai tum curtains ke peeche ho

So chupne ki koi wajah nahi hai

Bahar aajao

Rey: Kriya, please come here

Rey realized that this whole thing was very shocking for

Kriya

So he got off his bed and walked towards her and moved

the curtain to look at her, who stood there like a statue

trying understand the conversation.

Rey cupped kriya cheeks with his hands which were wet

because of the tears.

Her tears didn't know whom they were sought for, was it

for their master's best friend or was it for the love of

her life.

They just did there works as usual i.e moist her cheeks

and fall but this without knowing who they were for.

Rey: Baatcutter, meri taraf dekho

Kriya looked up at him and into those caring and

apologizing eyes

Rey: I'm sorry baatcutter, I'm sorry

You had to hear all that

Mai kabhi nahi chahata tha ki

tumhe yeh sab sunna padhe

I never wanted you to go through this situation

I'm sorry

Then he stood there looking into her eyes for a reply

And all she had to say was

Kr: Sorry Rey

Sorry...

And she broke down into his arms

And repeated her whispers of

apology...

So finally one mystery revealed

hope you liked it

Well I'm not sure if the way I revealed the mystery was

good enough or not. But still I shall hope for some positive
