Chapter 26
Anjali blinked repeatedly as she looked around the room. Shyam's stomach churned.
"What?" Anjali said.
"D-Don't believe him Rani Sahiba! I don't know what NK has against me.. Why would I do that to Khush-" Shyam was interrupted by Arnav grabbing hold of him by the neck.
"DONT even think about saying Khushi's name or blame NK!" Arnav's eyes turned murderous.
"Chotte!" Anjali screeched pushing Arnav off Shyam.
"Di, you don't understand.." Arnav said.
"Yes maybe I don't understand! But no one has the right to point fingers at Shyamji! Khushiji is not even saying anything so she has no problem right?" Anjali held Shyam's hand. Arnav looked over to Khushi.
"Khushi." Arnav sat down next to Khushi holding her by the shoulders.
"Tell Di Khushi, tell her what Shyam did to you!" Khushi looked at Arnav.
"Who told you this NK?" Anjali said harshly to NK.
"Lavanya did but the point is-" NK was interrupted by Anjali scoffing loudly.
"Obviously! She wants to ruin this house just because she broke the marriage with Chotte!" Shyam smirked.
Lavanya felt hurt with Anjali's words, she teared up, NK saw this and was furious.
"No Di! Let me-" NK was again interrupted by Anjali.
"NK just because your newly in love with Lavanya it doesn't mean she is right." Anjali tried to comfort NK, he backed away from Anjali holding Lavanya's hand.
"And Di." Arnav stood up. "Just because your married to that man it doesn't mean you believe him blindly."
Anjali was shocked by Arnav answering back.
"Chotte! Why believe Lavanya for?!" Anjali was confused.
"Rani Sahiba I don't know what they have against me, but let's go you need rest." Shyam was about to take Anjali away when Arnav spoke
"It's not just Lavanya Di! I saw Shyam misbehave with Khushi myself!" Arnav shouted. Khushi let out a loud breath as she remembered the times Shyam misbehaved with her. Like in the middle of the night almost raping her.
"Khushi please, don't take anymore pain just to protect Di" Arnav begged.
"Arnavji.. you know?" Payal asked. Everyone turned around to Payal.
"What do you mean 'you know' Payalji?" Anjali asked.
Payal breathed out heavily "A few months ago Shyamji came into our house as a paying guest, since then he had his eyes on Khushi..." Payal carried on with the story and how they were engaged but then Khushi found out he was already married.
"But Arnavji what do you mean misbehaving?" Payal was worried.
"Payalji? What are you talking about?" Akash grabbed Payal by the arm.
"IT'S TRUE AKASHJI!" Payal shouted angrily. Everyone was taken aback by Payal's anger.
"What happened to relationships with no lies?!" Akash shouted back storming off. Payal followed.
"How much more proof do you want Di." Arnav said coldly.
"This proves nothing." Anjali replied back firmly. Shyam kissed Anjali on the forehead
"Thank you for believing me Rani Sahiba" Shyam smiled.
Khushi stood up and walked over to Anjali. She looked at Anjali's smiling face, then Khushi looked at Arnav, into his eyes.
"Anjaliji.." Khushi spoke.
"Yes Khushiji?"
"Whatever Arnavji, Nanheji and Lavanyaji said.. is true." Khushi looked up to Anjali scared.
"NO!" Anjali screamed pushing Khushi back. Khushi stumbled backwards not fighting back.
DON'T LIE TO ME KHUSHIJI!" Anjali raised her hand and swung towards Khushi's face, Arnav grabbed Anjali's arm just in time. He stared at Anjali coldly. He pushed Anjali's arm away.
"No Di. Don't even think about hitting Khushi. Never." Arnav held Khushi's hand.
"SAALE SAAB! HOW DARE YOU BE LIKE THIS TO RANI SAHIBA!" Shyam shouted.
Arnav stepped towards Shyam "You don't even start. I am going to do something that I should of done a long time ago." Arnav grabbed Shyam by the collar and dragging him out.
"Let go of me!" Shyam shouted.
"Let go of him Chotte!" Anjali screamed.
Arnav stopped. "Make your choice Di. Should I stay or Shyam?" Arnav said staring at Anjali.
Another cliffhanger! 😆 Sorry this upload is kind of short.. I MIGHT upload again today, not sure..
