Love could be that strong...part 15:
for next few days madhu tried o avoid rk whereas khushi too avoided rk as she didn't wanted to focus on project.
few days later:
madhu and khushi were walking through the corridor when someone suddenly pulled khushi inside. madhu quickly followed her and found khushi trying to free herself from someone. it was none other than - arjun.
madhu quickly went forward and pulled khushi apart.
madhu: dare you even touch her!!!
arjun : so you think you can stop me??
he paces towards madhu but khushi comes in between.
khushi: don't even try!!!
arjun: shut up!! you are only mine and dare you go near that arnav singh raizada .
khushi: and who are you to say that??
arjun: i said you are mine.
madhu : khushi i think we should go now. he is a creepy obssesive person.
arjun: (steps towards madhu) you haven't seen my obssesive side yet.
khushi: oh really?? then go and try...but arnav is my friend and please don't ever compare yourself with him...
madhu and khushi rush outside but they were afraid with what he might do.
later that day another big news was waiting for them. they foud that the college cultural club had decided to have annual function at year end. so now they had plenty of time to focus at studies and other activities.
one week passed since that incident and all other things - studies , drama practice and fun all were going as usual. madhu was coming back from library but found khushi nowhere. most of the students were absent as it was a weekend next day . madhu started to get a little worried. but when she was passing by the chemistry lab she heard someone screaming. and too her horror she saw arjun forcing himself on khushi inside. madhu banged on door but it was locked from inside. khushi was crying and was trying to protect herself and was wildly hitting him..madhu felt a shiver ran down her spine and tears started to build up in her eyes.
madhu : (yells at top of her voice) khushi!!!! khushi!!! no madhu you can get weak now. you need to help khushi.
madhu saw no one around. she quickly rushed to basket ball court to seek help.
inside khushi had seen madhu so she gathered strength punched arjun and ran behind the cupboard. she was crying bitterly but was sure that madhu will do something.
madhu ran to the basket ball court as fast as possible. rk and arnav were sitting there and were discussing there new phone app.
rk saw madhu rushing towards them and she was crying bitterly and looked terrified.
they quickly came forward and rk grabbed madhu.
rk : what happened?? are you all right??
madhu: khu...khushi!!! help. (words were not just coming out)
arnav: what happened?? is khushi all right?? where is she??
she then tugged rk's arm and the three rushed inside.
arnav and rk froze when they saw arjun inside and without wasting anytime the two broke the door and rushed inside. they pulled arjun away from khushi. madhu pulled khushi aside and tried to comfort her. arnav had already lost his temper and punched arjun hard on nose. then he started to beat him blue and black but soon rk came from behind and put a handkerchief on his nose and soon arjun blanked out. actually he had put chloroform from lab in the handkerchief.
rk pulls arnav and shakes him.
rk : STOP IT ARNAV!!! HE WILL DIE.
arnav: so he should!!!! how dare he do so with her.
rk : okay...calm down please.
is he dead??
they both turned around and saw madhu standing there. her eyes were stuck upon unconscious arjun lying on the floor.
rk :no ...he will wake up soon. but we need to call the teachers . is khushi okay??
madhu : yes but just a little bit scared. (to arnav) she wants to talk to you)
arnav nods and goes outside.
rk turns around and hold madhu's arms.
rk : are you okay??
madhu breaks down and hugs him tightly. at first rk didn't knew how to react but his hand automatically flung to her back and he rubbed her back to console her. madhu stood there tightly clutching him and poured her heart out.
rk slightly pushes her , wipes her tears and cups her face in his hands.
rk : how did this happened?
madhu :he ...he threatened us around a week back and asked khushi to stay away from arnav.
rk then saw that madhu's hand was bleeding. she might have hurt herself during this whole chaos.
rk quickly brought first aid box from the cupboard .
outside...
arnav slowly paced towards khushi.
khushi: you shouldn't have hurt him so badly.
arnav: (pulls her strongly towards him) what the?? he hurt you khushi!!
khushi: that's it. he asked me to stay away from you.
arnav: what??
khushi: and i think i should have done so.
arnav: (pulls more tightly) but why??
khushi: cause i don't want him to hurt you!!! i won't be able to see you hurt!! ouch!!!
arnav loosens his grip on her.
arnav: but i will never leave you alone. remember it.
rk slowly put bandage on madhu's hand .
she winced at the touch of medicine and clutched his arm. rk looked at her and he wanted to comfort but can't. rk tried to be as gentle as possible and madhu too noticed this. he knew that he cared for her and she knew she was safe whenever he was around.
