Hello everyone!
We have recently been faced with a bunch of issues on the forum that Gur and I would like to address and clarify at this time. Please read through the following points and feel free to PM myself with any questions you may have about the same.
For the new rules, here's the topics I think we need to touch on:
Member bashing & name-calling: This is a big problem in the forum at the moment with different fan groups attacking each other and fighting for their favorites. I understand how we can feel that we are "justified" in our need to attack any opposing views about our favorite but we would like everyone to understand at this point that such behavior is NOT allowed in a forum environment. It is not conducive to a healthy forum environment and name-calling/bashing has NO place in a civil discussion. ANYONE participating in this behavior - whether it is to instigate the fight to begin with or to retaliate to the instigation OR to MORAL POLICE the issue on their own - will get only ONE warning PM and any subsequent bashing/name-calling from the member will receive a direct WL raise after that. If you come across any posts that you feel are inappropriate for the forum should be reported so that the DT can take appropriate actions towards them.
Character bashing/name calling: Any sort of name calling that could be used in DEROGATORY way is NOT allowed. Chopra = chopdu or any other random and seeming "harmless" name which is actually being used as a code to insult characters are absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable in a forum discussion! Just as is not acceptable to attack members, it is similarly NOT acceptable to bashing characters/actors in the name of criticism. You are welcome to criticize the characters/storyline however please understand that there is a clear distinction between constructive criticism and meaningless bashing. Therefore, at this time ANY and ALL name-calling for characters, no matter how harmless, are NOT allowed. Since the forum seems to be unable to handle nicknames and humorous names at the moment, they will not be allowed. ANYONE participating in this behavior - whether it is to instigate the bashing to begin with or to retaliate to the instigation OR to MORAL POLICE the issue on their own - will get only ONE warning PM and any subsequent bashing/name-calling from the member will receive a direct WL raise after that. And as mentioned before, f you come across any posts that you feel are inappropriate for the forum should be reported so that the DT can take appropriate actions towards them.
Repetitive threads: Repetitive threads are being posted for articles, discussions, pictures, etc. Please understand that there are already various threads established to discuss the following aspects of the show:
Pictures of ANY kind should be posted in the Picture Gallery. If you'd like to discuss pictures for a particular actor/character, they can be posted in their ATs or in the EDT. But posting NEW THREADS for pictures are not allowed and from now will be closed without a note.
Similarly, one-liners should be posted in the EDT - any one liner threads will be closed without a note.
Please check the first 4-5 pages of the forum BEFORE posting any thread (articles, pictures, discussions, etc.) to make sure that a similar thread does not already exist. From this point on any repetitive threads will be closed with a warning. The next offense will lead to a warning PM and any repetitive threads posted after that will lead to a direct WL raise.
The PNZKSK Development Team will assume that all members on this forum have read the above statements. And we sincerely appreciate everyone's cooperation in the matter.
