Nupur's P.O.V.
I just can't believe my parent's didn't want to talk to me they didn't even want to know what has actually happened,for them I am not their daughter anymore,their each word was piercing my heart into pieces,I thought one day when I will be back to them they will shower me with their love will support me but here what I am getting the cold words from them,according to them they don't have any daughter,I closed my eyes in pain when I felt a hand on my shoulder but I didn't dared to open my eyes and held it because I wan't to control my tears I have to be strong ,and slowly I opened my eyes I tried to control my self but this pain was so unbearable I don't know when tears made their way out from my eyes.
I was thinking of them when a sudden warm touch I felt on my cheeks...Mayank wiped of the tears which were now flooding from my eyes and very slowly and softly without hurting me he hugged me,needless I was wanting this hug,he caressed my hair and back and I just led my pain out but not making noise as my parent's didn't thought about me they didn't cared about me but I need to care about my daughter I don't want her to see me in such condition.
Mayank was always there with me,he didn't believe that I had left him,he so loves me even more than my parent's ,he is a gem,he is my life and today I understood how unconditional love he has for me,I couldn't hold my anger for him anymore yes..!! I was angry on him for not finding me for not saving from Dhruv but I know he was not at fault.I was so longing for his warmth,I slowly hugged him and cried my pain out,this time I actually needed him and he was there with me ,calmimg me.I cried to remove all the pain I had carried in this 4 years,Dhruv's torture also didn't hurt me that much as my parent's words.And for now I need a support and I know Mayank will be there for me,I just hugged him just to feel him that he is real.
I do not want to think about anything else for now.Just want him to be close to me for a while,don't to want to break this warmth soon want to feel his warmth for a while.
Mayank's P.O.V.
I felt her weep subsides after sometime,she was relaxed on my shoulder,I promised myself that I will support her and will pour all my love to her so that no one could able to hurt her,I promise myself to be with her at any need of time.My life who was once strong ,who had never feared of anyone was so vunerable today.Seeing my love in such miserable condition this actually reamed my heart I wanted to remove her every pain,agony at this instant of time,but I know this could only be healed up with time.
I felt her hands were from my shoulder ,I guess she wanted to broke the hug may be it's paining her back.I broke the hug still my hands were lingering in her shoulder and asled her with my concerned filled voice,"You are okay.."
She nodded her head and laid down a bit to relax.I asked her,"Nupur you must be feeling hungry,shall I order something from the hospital canteen."
She replied in a slow whisper,"Mayank I am not feeling hungry .."
I explained her rather convinced her as food is necessary,"Nupur you need to take something else how would you going to healed up soon,without food you can't take medicines also and you are already on high doses,Doctor has prescribed me your diet I'll just order something for and Shriya'"
Nupur:"Mayank you also havent' eaten anything since morning,order for yourself also'"
I replied her as my hunger was already died seeing her in this situation,"No I had a heavy breakfast and also not feeling hungry any more.."
She said me or rather commanded me,"Mr.Mayank Sharma if you can't speak lie than don't try okay'I know you had just a coffee because early in the morning you can't have heavy breakfast and plus you don't take heavy breakfasts,now don't make any more excuses and order something for yourself also."
Now my Jhaansi 'ki-Rani had commanded me how could I diobey her order,I too order something for myself.She moved a little bit up as the fracture shoulder was still paining so I helped her to sit down at her place not hurting her shoulder anymore.
Till then my angel also woke up from her sound sleep,I didn't buged or disturbed her as Nupur has said me to let her initiate.She opened her cute little eyes and looked at me as of now I was sitting just infront of her,for a moment she got scared but then she realises her mother besides her so she relaxed,it actually pained me to see that my own child afraid of me well I am helpless at this moment.She cuddles more to her mother and then she said something in her ear.Looking to me for a moment Nupur said something in her ear and after listening that she looked at me in very amused expression I wondered what could be this mother-daughter secret,she was now staring me not in scary but just was staring me,I looked at Nupur to what she what she was thinking but she assures me through her eyes that everything is going fine.
I took a sigh and passed my sweet smile to her.In a hope that seeing smile may she also return her angelic smile to me.But she just stared with blank expression as if she was checking me out.
Soon her staring session was broke when our lunch was arrived.I had ordered cereals for her as my daughter must be hungry from I don't know how long so thought of cereals as they would be healthy for her.The nurse arranged the lunch for Nupur and gave the bowl of scereals to Shriya.Looking a her food she looked at her mother which signalled towards me,she turned her eyes towards me stared me for a moment ,I thought she didn't like cereals I try to gave a sly smile as if appologising her she looked me then to the bowl and after a brief pause started eating eat,I relaxed now as she was eating it fondly may be she liked or may she was very much hungry.Doctor has prescribed the boiled vegetables for Nupur I thought she would make nose will make 100 of excuses of not taking the lunch coz as far I know Nupur she is very fond of food,she liked the spicy food the most and this food was completely opposite to her taste.I had mentally prepared myself to convince her to take this food but to my surprise she ate it silently not bickereing her nose not making any excuse just eating it silently.It was a ctually a great shock for me I really wonder what happen to my Nupur's taste she was very particular about her everything even her food and today'!!! A guilt overtook my heart again that I couldn't able to protect her but then I internally made a decision to bring my Nupur back to orignal.We trio had silent lunch.The nurse came and took our plates.I gave her some medicines and made her lay down again back to her place.Shriya was keenly looking us once I was done she said something to Nupur in her ear may be she wasking a question because Nupur negatively nodded her head.
Then she asked something to Nupur not like whispering in her ear but aloud,"Mamma,can I do my drawing'!!".For the first time I was hearing her voice,she was so sugary sweet and cute it actually reminds me of myself ,when I was small even I used to ask my mother like this,Maa used to told me that I liked to draw very much when I was small.I was indeed happy to know that my daughter even carries some traits of mine.
Nupur Nodded her head and she gets down from her stool and went upto the table where her bag was lying down,took out her drwaing book drag a chair nearby sat down on the chai and start her drawing.I was amazed at her act ,I looked at Nupur and she gave me She-Is-Your-Daughter look gave me a sudden proud.After a while Doctor came to check her changes her dose bottle and called me outside .I said to Nupur,"I'll back in a moment okay.."
She blinked her eyes in assurance and I left their room with the doctor.
Doctor,"Well,Mr Sharma everything is normal and under control,if you want we can shift her to the ward."
I asked again to doctor,"Are you sure doctor,does she needs more care'you can put her into the I.C.U. don't worry about the charges I am going to handle everything."
Doctor,"No..Mr.Sharma she is absolutely alright'that's why I am saying we could shift her to the ward'Please pack her bag in a moment Nurse will come and will shift her to another room."I nodded to doctor and went back to the room.I went besides her and explained what doctor told me.She nodded her head saying she is ready and called our daughter.
"Shriya..!! Shona come to Mumma..".My little angel with an instant comes to her mother.Nupur explained her that we are moving to another room and asked her pack her all stuff she nodded her head same as her mother does and packed all her stuff,I too packed a small bag of Nupur.Till then me and Shriya hadn't have any chat,I want to give her ample of time.
