Rishabh knocked on her door but there was no response. He stood there for ten minutes; continuously ringing the bell and knocking at the door. He decided to text her

"Don't make me turn into Romeo and climb up to your room Madhs."

No response.

He went to sit in his car and waited another 15 minutes. Eventually he began honking his horn. Not even a minute passed, when Madhu finally opened her front door.

Rishabh got out of his car and walked towards her.

"What is your problem?! You're disturbing the neighbours," she looked at him angrily as he walked towards her.

"I'd disturb the entire world if you ignored me," he reached her and looked into her eyes with a serious look.

They locked eyes for a minute and then Madhu eventually looked away. She crossed her arms.

"Please, just go."

"Madhu...What did I do?"

"Nothing, go."

"I'm not leaving. And I'm not letting you leave me either."

Madhu looked at Rishabh. He placed his hands on both of her shoulders and she withdrew from his touch. She stepped back while staring at him and then she turned around. Just as she was about to run back into her house, she felt his hand gripping at hers. She closed her eyes as she felt him closing in on her from behind.

Just as she felt his chest brushing against her back, her heart started racing. She felt his breath coming closer and closer towards her ear, and then she heard him whisper.

"I said, I'm not letting you leave me," he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into him from behind.

"Rish'let'let me go'" she spoke nervously as her heart raced.

"Never," he whispered passionately.

Madhu pulled away from his grip and ran into her house and up the stairs. She left the door open behind her, inviting him in.

He followed her to her room and walked in. She was sitting on the edge of her bed looking down.

He closed the door behind himself and went to sit next to her.

"I'm sorry," she whispered.

Rishabh looked at her confused. He felt that if anyone was to say sorry, it should've been him.

"Will you please tell me what's wrong?" he questioned her.

"I'I don't know."

"How do you not know? You just ran out of the studio."

"I just, I don't feel good."

"What's wrong? Tell me. I'm here for you," he placed his hand on top of hers.

Rishabh watched as her eyes landed on their hands. She stared at them for a minute and then up at Rishabh.

"Don't do that," she said while pulling her hand away.

"What?" he asked confused.

"I know what's wrong," she stood from the bed and walked towards her window.

Madhu felt Rishabh's eyes on her. She turned to face him while he sat still on the edge of her bed.

"I'Well, you'"

"Just say it," Rishabh looked at her curiously.

"You make my heart go crazy'"

Rishabh began to smile as he listened to Madhu.

"And'But'I can't'I mean I can't fall for a co-star. I just can't!"

The smile from Rishabh's face vanished.

Madhu suddenly turned around, unable to face him anymore.

She heard him get off her bed. She had thought he would walk up to her, but as she turned, she saw him standing in her doorway with his back towards her.

"See you on set tomorrow," he spoke sternly and then walked out of her room.

Madhu watched him leave and then she fell to her knees.

What did I just do'she thought to herself as she burst into tears.

Part Nine

Rishabh followed Madhu towards her dressing room.

He waited outside her door for a few minutes and eventually grew impatient.

He knocked at her door.

"I…I'm ch..changing…" Madhu spoke between clear sobs.

Rishabh heard her sobs and tried at her door. To his surprise, it was unlocked.

He walked in to see Madhu balling her eyes out on the ground.

Rishabh's frustrated expression didn't leave his face as he walked towards her.

He knelt down in front of her and pulled at her arm. Madhu looked up at him in shock and pain as his grip tightened.

"Control. Your. Self," he spoke angrily.

Rishabh shook her arm and spoke again.

"This is your fault. Don't even tr…" he was cut off when Madhu got up and ran away.

Rishabh walked towards the dressing room door and looked out to see Madhu sobbing in Karan's arms.

"RK…" she spoke with a fearful voice in Karan's arms.

Karan, he was tall, handsome, and very sleek. Any lady would love to be in his arms. Rishabh watched as a fire grew within him. Jealousy.

"RK? What do you mean Madhu?" Karan asked confused.

Madhu pointed behind her towards where Rishabh stood in the doorway of her dressing room.

Rishabh watched as Karan caressed Madhu's back to comfort her. He wanted to go pull her free from Karan and place her in his own arms but he couldn't.

"Madhu, shh, that's Rishabh…"

Madhu shook her head as she sobbed into Karan's chest.

"I'm going to have to do something about this…this can't be happening as we shoot," Karan placed his arms on Madhu's shoulders and pushed her back slightly.

Madhu looked into his eyes as he looked back. In the middle of their eye lock, Rishabh clapped his hands. They broke their eye lock and turned to stare at Rishabh walking towards them.

"Wow Madhs, you move on so quick! To another co-worker? Brilliant," Rishabh eyed down the both of them.

Madhu and Karan stared at each other with a confused expression and then stepped away from each other. Karan looked towards Rishabh.

"Hey, watch your mouth. There's no such thing going on."

"I don't blame you Karan, even I fell for her spell," Rishabh turned and gave Madhu a glare.

"Don't talk about her like that."

"OH! WOW! Mr. Karan standing up for his girl?"

"Rishabh, shut up, or you will be sent home early."

Rishabh chuckled lowly to himself and walked past them. Madhu had run out of tears, she stood staring blankly at the ground. Shocked.

Karan glanced at her and then remembered what Rishabh had just said. He stepped forwards to comfort her but then turned and backed away. He walked towards the set and screamed, "PLACES. NOW!"

When Karan noticed Madhu not coming onto set, he turned around him to call for her, "Mad…" he trailed off as he noticed Madhu was missing.

Karan turned to stare at Rishabh who was busy fixing his hair.

"RISHABH."

Rishabh stared at Karan who had the most furious look on his face.

"You. Go find her. Now."

"Nah."

"GO. Or else I'll cut you of your job," Karan threatened.

"Oh, a threat, not fair Karan," Rishabh spoke as he got up and ran past Karan.
