Part 54

Baby, there's Chachu – Chachi getting married… so nice na…. but poor baby I know you are angry on Mumma na….Geet said patting her huge belly while a smile adored seeing Vicky and Pari finally getting tied with the sacred knot. Alle mer bacha… angry on Mumma na…. but you know na Chachu loves Mumma more than baby…..Geet said with a teasing tone. Ok now enough of Mumma, lets search for Dadda… did you see your Dadda anywhere Geet said while looking here and there and making sure tat no one sees her talking to her baby. It was her habit tat she always talked to the baby when left alone and right now she was sitting on a sofa specially placed for her but she failed to see tat she was not alone as Dadima was sitting next to her listening to her sweet talks.

It was the day of the wedding and the whole KM was decorated and filled with guests from all fields. Geet was finally warned and was asked to sit at one place and for tat Maan had especially placed a comfy sofa for his wife where she could sit and watch the whole wedding enjoying with the baby and so Dadima was also asked to accompany her and now Geet was so lost tat she failed to realize tat Dadima was sitting next to her and enjoying her sweet talks.

Say na Baby… did you see Dadda… You know I hate your Dadda…aahh..Geet held tummy and hit it slightly and said Badmash….. Dadda ka chamcha….i hate your Dadda…now hit Mumma and if you hit me na I will tell chachu about it… and than chachu will shout at Dadda and you….wat…. did you say… will tell Dadda about me… ok tell but I know Chachu will shout at Dadda.. see where he is… he left Mumma and you here….now say you will tell Dadda… Haan say na..Geet patted her belly again while Dadima smiled hearing her talks slowly keeping her hand on her tummy making Geet to look at her.

Dadima:Hmmm… baby Mumma shouting na… lets wait will tell Dadda about it.. Hain na Baby..

Geet looked at Dadima pouting her lips in anger and said.

Geet: haan why not…….

Dadima : Arre mera bacha gussa ho (Dadima said caressing her hair while Geet pouted in anger)

Geet: Haan… see na Dadima…. This Maan na he left me here all alone and baby he is even not talking to me… koi nahi hain yaha mere saath…

Dadima: M here na beta…. See Maan is busy with guest na and Vicky and Pari see there they are getting married. You wanted to see tat na..

Geet: hmmm… par Maan…. I want him here…..

Dadima slowly moved closer to Geet hugging her sideways and said.

Dadima: Beta… see there are so many guests and Yash and Maan needs to handle them all and Naina, she needs to see if everything is at place and for you m here na your Dadima and see baby also with you…

Geet: Baby… uski baat hi mat karo Dadima.. he is a Dadda 's baby.. if Dadda not there than no talking to Mumma… he na he only needs Dadda not Mumma..

Dadima smiled and made a fake angry face and said patting her tummy.

Dadima: Baby see… Its not fair tat you don't talk to Mumma when Dadda not there.. see if you do this na Dadda will get angry.. Haina geet, maan will get angry na…

Geet: Nahi… Naa…. Baby Dadda can never get angry ok… Badi dadi simply saying….

Geet instantly said patting her baby making sure tat her words reached the baby. Dadima smiled hearing her saying tat while Geet laid her head on her shoulder asking about Maan.

Geet: Maan…. Dadima Maan…. where is he… you know I have not seen him for sooo long…

Dadima: Beta… don't worry he is here only… just busy with guest… ok wait you sit here I will call Maan and say tat his Geet and Baby needs him with them.

Geet smiled hearing it and hugged Dadima who in turned smiled and left in search of Maan. She knew tat unless and until Geet sees Maan she wont sit in peace.

Yash had been busy with guest as Maan had been out for some urgent work. Maan was called by one of his clients to sign the deal as they were supposed to leave the early next morning. First Maan was hell angry as they had suddenly changed their decision but Yash asked him to go saying tat it was just a mere signature as all the formalities had been done. Though Maan was reluctant to go Yash said tat he would make sure tat Geet does not come to know about it as he would be soon back and now Yash was left all alone and it was more than a hour tat Maan had left. Yash was so busy tat he even avoided receiving his mobile tat had been vibrating since long in his pocket and finally getting frustrated he received only to hear a strange voice laughing at the other side.

Yash; Who the hell….

Khuranna… Yash Singh Khuranna…itni jaldi bhool tho nahi sakthe ho na…

Yash for a second was numb but he soon recovered thinking tat it can never be possible.

Don't be so shocked Khuranna…. Its me but I think you forgot me… Anyways heard tat your son Vicky Singh Khuranna is getting married.. aur who bhi Pari Shikawat se… Isnt it strange… I mean you did not invite me.. aise koi karta hain kya.

Yash was hell angry and he blasted his all anger.

Yash: People with good nature and reputation are invited by the Khuranna's not like you.. aur rahi baat karne ki… it will be your last call and henceforth I hope tat you remember your past..

Past…… bhool jao Khuranna… lets start fresh after all we are best friends na….

Yash: Friends….. zindagi ki sabse badi galti ki thi humne par ab nahi……

Leave tat… Give my love to sweet Pari.. after all mere Shekar ki beti hain na… haq tho banta hain mera..

Yash was angrier now but he knew he could not shout here and without a word he cut the call wiping the sweat from his forehead and the moment he turned he saw his mother looking at him with a bit fear and questions in her eyes but before she could say anything he answered her.

Yash: Kuch nahi kar sakthe… No one can harm…. Aur rahi ish baat ki than you don't need to worry about..

Dadima: Par Yash…

Yash: I said na….. and you wanted me to inform them about the wedding…

Yash left saying this while Dadima stood there but soon cursed herself for forgetting the main purpose for which she had come here.

It was almost the end of the rituals as Vicky and Pari were taking their phera's. Geet was now restless and started too search for Maan here and there avoiding to come in front of Handa's and Khuranna's but she failed to understand tat a pair of eyes were constantly on her. It had been hours she had not seen Maan and every time she tried to move she was attended by one of the Khuranna or the Handa who were now informed tat Maan was out for some work and they made sure tat Geet was kept busy in talks but in this all Geet was getting more and more restless and now she was bit fearing by not seeing Maan and finally she succeeded in moving out in search for Maan. She was madly searching Maan holding her big huge tummy while roaming in the crowed looking for her Maan and the way she was fearing and her facial expressions were scaring a pair of eye. Yes, it was none other than Vicky.

Though Vicky's ears were hearing the mantra's said by the purohit his eyes constantly followed Geet who was quite restless. His one eye constant on Geet who was moving from one corner to another while the other eye searching for Maan while his legs following Pari for phera's and probably he was now sure tat Maan was not around and the very next second when the couple finished the last phera completing the wedding rituals there was a loud cry from Geet " MAAANNN". Everyone stood still hearing the painful scream while Vicky ran from the mandap throwing the ghatbandhan towards Pari who herself was in shock and next moment she ran behind Vicky.

The Khuranna's and Handa's who now reached near Geet were shocked to see her crying and screaming Maan's name. Vicky at once took her into his arms trying to calm her down while Pari ran to get water for her.

Geet: Maan…Maan… where is Maan….Maaannn.

Each passing second she was getting hyper making everyone scared. She pushed each person who came closer making Vicky to hold her tight slowly sitting down on the floor.

Vicky: Bhabi… calm down please..calm down.

Geet jerked Vicky but he was strong in his hold.

Geet: Maan…. I need Maan… I need Maan…..

Vicky: Bhabi… bro yahi hain…. see.. he will be here only.

Geet for a moment looked at Vicky but next second slapped him hard saying.

Geet: jhoot, I know my Maan is not here… he is not here… see he left me and baby alone.. I know he left me alone… ( she held Vicky by his collar) get my Maan… I need my Maan…. Vicky get my Maan back… get him back…

Yash sat on his knees and making Geet look at him but she jerked his hands too, but Yash held her face again and said.

Yash: Geet.. Maan did not leave you. Do you get.. he is just away for work.. he is just away for work. Do you get

Geet: No (jerking his hands) I know Maan left me… he left me like he always did…see he left me all alone.. Dekho na Dad even baby knows Dadda left us.. Hain na Maan left me na..

Yash was getting angry and in force he made her to see his eyes.

Yash: Maan did not leave you. Do you get.. Your Maan can never leave you…(Yash controlled his anger) Dekho beta… maan is just away for work..please calm down

Geet looked in his eyes, her heart knew he was saying true but her mind feared every time and she pushed him away saying.

Geet: No… aap sab jhoot bol rahe hain.. I know you all are lying… I know… My Maan left me.. (she cried holding Vicky and shaking him) Vicky get my Maan back.. My Maan…. I need him get him back na..please.

Vicky: ssshhh Bhabi… bro will be back please calm down please.

Vicky eyes Yash asking him to call Maan but Yash informed him tat Maan was receiving his call as he has been trying since long. Geet's state was getting worst while Arjun slowly moved asking forgiveness to the guest saying tat the wedding was done and due to emergency the reception tat was to be followed is cancelled. Though the situation made the people to gossip but they knew tat they could not say anything against the Khuranna's and slowly left. Vicky carried a crying Geet upstairs followed by everyone. They tried their best to calm her down but Geet was just screaming taking Maan's name and crying for him to get back him. Vicky was getting frustrated and in frustration he even blasted his Dad for sending Maan saying tat there would be no major loss if they had lost the deal.

Maan who had just entered the KM was shocked to see it empty. His heart for a second stopped beating while his legs did not have the courage to move and his eyes shocked to see the sight in front of him making his throat to scream "GEEETTT.".

"Geet" his lips did not stop for a moment seeing his life running through the corridor holding her huge tummy while others running behind her. He ran not caring to see the ground asking and screaming to stop but his voice just could not reach her ears while others saw him. His whole body shivered seeing her nearing the stairs and without wasting time he climbed the stairs and at the nick time she landed in his arms still struggling to get out of the hold.

Geet: leave me…. My Maan left me… I need him… leave me.. Maan….. Maan….

Maan held her tight in her arms trying to say tat he was here but her words, sobs and screams did not let him to say a word. He tried to make her see him yet she was in her own world of fear and finally with no other options Maan placed his lips on hers shutting her and making her feel him. The moment she felt his lips her eyes held his sight with tears while her hands pulled him more into the kiss, kissing her with pain, fear and love. Though Maan was aware of their family he let her to kiss him until she feels tat he is with her. Seeing tat she was no where ready to part he slowly moved his lips away but his hands caressed her face and next she was hugging him tight with fear making Maan worried and understand wat had happened.

Maan: sshh.. Jaan.. m here… see m here…. M all here…

Geet: why did you leave me haan.. why did you leave me..

Geet broke apart and slapped him hard shocking everyone but Maan did not say a word.

Geet: Why did you leave me and go… bolo why.. why..

She hit him while Maan stood taking it. His eyes having the relief to see her getting back as for once he was scared and next she was again hugging him breaking his own bones making him a bit scared as she was hurting her tummy.

Maan: Jaan….. dhere… see you will hurt baby Jaan…

Geet: why did aahhh…. Maan aaahhh

Maan panicked hearing her voice and before he could say a word Geet screamed holding her belly "aaahhh Maan… Maan… Baby...ahhh…… Maan our baby…. Maan…..aaahhh" panicking everyone making them to run to hold her. Maan in a swift move picked Geet who was still holding and screaming in pain, Maan asked Vicky to get the car ready making everyone to follow them.

A restless and fearful Maan was not able to hear the screams tat were piercing his whole soul. He could not bear the pain tat his Geet was going through since last one hour while Vicky was not less. He hid himself into Pari's arms trying to stop her cries reaching his ears. Though everyone was scared but seeing these two was making them more scared. Naina and Dadima tried talking to Maan but seeing his tears they could not even dare to say a word but just see him dying and crying in fear… a fear which they knew he was harboring inside his heart even after the doctor had announced tat Geet and the Baby was fine. Their fear was justified as Geet was just 8 months and few days pregnant and right now she being inside and her screams while a team of well versed doctors attending her. Their hands folded to pray for the two souls and the other two outside. Dr. Tripathi was bit shocked and scared as she never thought tat Geet would be going into labor so soon but she assured them tat it was normal as some pregnant women do go into early labor. The wait was getting longer and longer for them when they heard the door opening letting Dr. Tripathi to come into their sight. She slowly moved towards Maan and said directly.

Dr. Tripathi: Maan… I cant wait for the normal delivery as Geet wants and I just cant wait anymore now.

Naina: Par Shilpa you know na tat she wanted tat.

Dr. Tripathi:Maan I said something… you know I cant risk her and wait for normal delivery.

Maan: Go ahead but please stop her pain… just stop her pain… I just want my Geet ad Baby safe aur kuch nahi… just safe doctor.

Dr.Tripathi: They will Maan… they will and its my promise tat you and Geet will have your baby in your hands.

Maan: You should doctor but before tat can I meet Geet… just few seconds.

Though Dr. Tripathi knew tat he wont be able to see her she knew tat he needed it and gave him the permission. Maan's heart paced and his legs shivered as he entered the room only to see his Jaan being held by nurses who were trying to calm her down. His eyes had tat pain which was evident by his tears but still he did not wipe them. He moved closer and sat next to her asking the nurses to just give him some time with his wife. He held her hand and the moment he did she looked at his eyes which were teary for her. Though she was in pain she raised herself and softly placed her lips on his kissing him while he reciprocated her love with his love murmuring I Love You.

Geet: I will Maan.. I will.

Maan smiled with tears in his eyes hearing her words and caressed her hair.

Maan: Its caesarian Jaan….

Geet looked at him with shock and tried to say something but he shut her with his lips again and said.

Maan: I cant see you in pain. I know you want to experience this but not this time.. I promise Jaan we will have our next baby soon when you will be all fine but not now. I cant risk you and baby Jaan.. I need you both… I need my sunshine with me… will you

Geet nodded her head as she knew tat it wont be safe for her if she waits for normal delivery and she cant risk her life nor the baby as its her Maan's and to get him finally out from his guilt she have to do it.

Geet: Maan…..

Maan: Ssshhh…… I know Jaan… and I know the moment I will see our baby in your hands god will free me from my guilt.. and I promise tat I will never let it come in between us anymore.. I promise Jaan… I promise and I just need you and our baby Jaan. Just two of you… I want to see my Jaan feeding our baby Jaan… want to see you holding our love.

Geet: I will Maan …. I will but promise you wont cry na… and haan tell tat Vicky not to cry…

Maan smiled but his tears did not stop as he knew tat she was suppressing her pain in front of him. He knew tat she would even waited for the normal delivery and he also knew tat she would never risk her and the baby as she loves her Maan more than wat Maan loves his Geet.
