Arnav: Khush...do you want to talk with me?? (with concerned look)
Khushi: Arnie...woh...(Khushi got really confused)
Arnav took her hand on his hand...and pressed it with both his palm...looking in her eyes...gestured her with his eyes to continue...he wanted to give her a chance...to open herself... because after her,,,he wants to tell everything out his heart...
Khushi: I was talking to Jiji that day...I don't want to get married...
Arnav: you don't want to get married?? or you don't want to marry Karan??
Khushi just looked in his eyes...as if she was confessing something through her eyes...and she wanted him to understand her inner feelings...that...YES...she doesn't want to marry that Karan...but also this...that she doesn't know what she wants...
Arnav was looking at her...with no expression on his face...but he was trying to reads Khushi's face...as if her face was an open book...and he was the only reader...he could read the restlessness of her...the fear...the dilemma...the confusion...and...and...something more...what was that?? is that the confession?? the confession...that she doesn't want to marry Karan...she doesn't want that person in her life?? then what does she want?? why doesn't she want him?? wait...wait...did he just thought of him for her?? no way...how can he?? but why does he?? what the hell is happening?? why everything seems so confusing these days for him...
Khushi: you know right??
Arnav came back from his thought...and smiled little...
Arnav: what??
Khushi looked at him with huge expectation to understand her feelings...to read her eyes...
Khushi: what I want??
Arnav said nothing...he just looked at her angelic face...that was confessing so many things at one time...that he was now getting lost in those emotions...he smiled at her...
Arnav: you said you talked with Payal...what about that?? (with little confusion)
Now this was the time when she had to confess something...yes...she need to tell what she feels... because that's why she is here with him...or else she could spend his birthday somewhere else...but she wanted this question...and she now she wanted to answer...
Khushi: Jiji asked me something...which I couldn't answer...(she looked down)
Arnav: and what was that??(he asked scrunching his eye brows)
Khushi looked in his eyes...with no expression...no emotion...just confusion...
Khushi: our relation...
This is it...Arnav understood everything...not only him...Khushi was also confused about their relation...she also wanted to find out about their relation...but does that mean she also feels something ME!!! yes!!! she does...and she is confused...but what is that?? she does feel something about me...i do feel something about her...but what the hell is this?!?!?!? damn...!! Arnav thought in his mind cursing himself for not understanding his ownself...
Arnav: what do you want Khush?? (looking in her eyes...still holding her hands...)
Khushi: YOU...(just straight in his eyes...with firmness in her voice..)
Arnav: How??
Khushi: I don't know...(looked other side...)
Arnav: look in my eyes...and say...(the hold of his hand got tightened)
Khushi: I...Arnie...woh..I...(looking here and there...suddenly her confidence got reduced...as she didn't know what to say...what she wanted...)
Arnav: don't try to escape...I want to know how do you want me??
Khushi: NO!! (she said looking at nothing but him...)
Arnav: What??!
Khushi: what do you want?? (looking at him...with a confidence to face anything..)
Arnav: from what??
Khushi: from me...from our friendship...
Arnav: you are supposed to answer it first...
Khushi: No...i want to know you first...
Arnav: but you know i guess...
Khushi: you never said...
Arnav: I did... (with a smirk on his face)
Khushi: no you didn't... (scrunching her eye brows)
Arnav: yes i did...but you didn't notice...(a slight smile playing on his lip)
Khushi: what??(she was confused now...as was trying to recall)
Arnav: yeah...(raising his one eye brow...)
Khushi: when??
Arnav: Khush...I am celebrating my birthday with you...
Khushi: Arnie...(she was trying to say something...but cut by Arnav)
Arnva: only YOU!! (confidence and firmness in his voice...with ASR attitude)
Khushi: huh...??!! (she looked at him with disbelief)
Khushi was hell shocked after hearing Arnav's confession...what he just said?? did he just said that he wants ME??!! but no...he didn't say that...he said he is celebrating his birthday with me...and he asked me to be with him...it means...he said it...but why?? why does he want me to be with him...?? what does he feel about me?? is this just a Friendship or...??
Arnav: Khush...
Arnav's voice broke Khushi's trance...she looked at him...
Khushi: Arnie...
Arnav: you didn't answer...(looking at her with expectation)
Khushi: you really want to know??(making a sweet face...as if she is talking to a kid)
Arnav: what do you think??
Khushi: i don't think anything...(nodding her head negatively...smiling lightly)
Arnav: No...you can't do that...
Khushi: do what??(Khushi got confused)
Arnav: escape...
Khushi: i am not doing so...
Arnav: you are...
Khushi: lets go to sleep Arnie...
Saying this she removed his hand from hers...and started to get up from the bed...
Arnav: Khush...
Khushi turned to him...with little smile on her face...
Khushi: you know...I'll never escape from this question...
Arnav: then?? (he wanted the answer right now...)
Khushi: just want to give you your last surprise...
Arnav: last surprise..?? (he got confused)
Khushi: the actual surprise...now don't ask...you won't get any answer...
Khushi again started to move from there...
Arnav: Khush...
Khushi: hmm?? (turned to look at him)
Arnav: this friendship means a lot to me...(with no expression on his face)
Khushi: i am no different from you Arnie...see you at morning before sunrise...at hill site...good night...
Khushi left the place...Arnav was still sitting on the bed which was hugging the green grass...the stars were twinkling...like they were trying hinting him about something...he was watching them...with his deep brown eyes...which had no regret for his unknown confession he just did some minuted back...but he was scared...of losing the most special relation of his life...was insecure for his Khush...his best friend...the night was deepening...the stars were more bright...it was dark all around...Arnav was feeling some mixed emotion...he took his phone...and called someone...
Arnav: hello...Akash...
Akash: hello Bhai...
Arnav: Akash...i don't know what is happening??
Akash: what happened bhai?? is everything ok??
Arnav: yeah all is ok...but..
Akash: bhai...where are you??
Arnav: Palampur...
Akash: why??
Arnav: i'll tell you that later...
Akash: are you ok??
Arnav: i don't know...
Akash: speak up bhai...
Arnav: i want Khush..
Akash: what??!! what does that mean??
Arnav: i don't know...i just know one thing...i want her in my life...all the time...in everything..

Arnav then went to his room...and went to balcony...the view was really beautiful...the night was really long...time was just stopped at one place...he was getting restless...even the beauty of the nature couldn't make him sleep or relax for a moment...
Arnav was sitting on the chair... waiting to over this night...waiting to see the surprise...waiting for the answer...he was getting scared...very scared...after Natasha...this friendship was all he had...and now...what??
**Did I make you wait for very long...I am sorry then...I was out of town...and now my semester is ending...so some last hour works are pending...
