Look who's back :p Well No, I am not sorry for delaying the update.. I was plainly being lazy in writing but after having a conversation with Dad about my dream to write a book and how my laziness is affecting me, i made a decision to get back to writing :) And This Update is dedicated to all those who have posted a long comment (You know who you are😳) and also to Krupaa, Sanaya, Prabha(The awesome VM maker that she is! ). 🤗

From this chapter, I am introducing Viraat's family.. The first one is his Mother, Ms Nisha- A high headed lady with a lot of mysteries attached to her. She loves her son a lot and wants him to be successful and well settled in life.

Over To The Chapter.

Viraat glanced at Maanvi asked her if she was an architect? Maanvi, in return glared and nodded in positive and asked him if he had any problem with her being a working woman.

"No" Viraat immediately responded "I am indeed happy to have met you! I am all for independent girls. Who in this advanced world would want to stay at home?" Viraat held Maanvi by her shoulder and whispered, "I am impressed by you".

"Thank You", said Maanvi and placed her eyes at a far off distance where there was no Viraat, no talks about marriage.. all that mattered was her dream.. her passion.. her pledge to help her family in all difficult times.

Maanvi, you are not doing the right thing.. You wont be able to fulfill your dreams, you wont be able to stay with Jia and Ankur. No one would be there to protect them. Rethink and make a decision before all your dreams are shattered and you are nothing but a puppet in Viraat's hands! Its NOW or NEVER. Go and speak to Viraat, tell him you cant marry him, you have your own plans, you have your own life! .

Maanvi what is the harm of marrying? sooner or later you HAVE to get married, then Why hesitating today? Go speak whatever comes in your mind and tell him about how your dreams are important to you.. Go before its too late!

Gathering all her senses Maanvi looked up towards Viraat and hissed, "Viraat"..."I... I want to talk to you.I hope you don't have any problems".

"Oh!, Sure, I have no problems. Soon all your problems will be mine Manvi and I assure you, You wont be be ever disappointed!" Viraat said in an assuring tone.

Touched by this gesture, tears rolled down Maanvi's eyes and she tried giving a meaning to her thoughts. " Viraat, I am the ONLY one earning in my family. After Dad, Mom had a very difficult time in looking after the three of us and I started looking for various jobs. That's when I decided to re- establish this business and contribute towards my home. Jia and Ankur are not just siblings, they are like my own kids. I cant think of leaving them for a second and here we are talking of Marriage"... "It's a very big decision". Maanvi had tears all over her face after letting out her thoughts... "Viraat",she continued, "I am really not sure if I can do this.."

Viraat pulled Maanvi to face him and looked straight in her eyes, "Maanvi, I can assure you that Jia and Ankur wont suffer because of your marriage, Infact they will get back their dad.. I'll do every possible thing to protect you and to keep you happy!" He took a deep breath and continued,"Maanvi, I am absolutely happy to see you attached with your family! Now i just cant wait to have you in my home and impress my family just the way you have impressed me"

Maanvi felt happy and shy after this and ran away in the living room where her parents were waiting for both of them.

"Oh, see who is back... My Princess is back.. " Jia chuckled on seeing Maanvi step in the living room and Viraat followed her.

"Maanvi, come sit with me!" requested Viraat's mother and Maanvi glanced at Sunaina for her permission. Sunaina nodded at her and got up to make place for her.

"Sunaina ji, we are very sorry " "We are now taking away your daughter from you!" Nisha took a breath and continued, "I accept this proposal and await your answer".

Overwhelmed with emotions, Sunaina stammered "Wh.. what.. What should i say Nisha ji? I am happy in my children's happiness. Lets hear it from the children if they are ready?" "Maanvi? What do you say, child?"

Maanvi looked up at Viraat who was anxiously waiting for her reply, took a deep breath and said, "Mom, I need time. Wil let you know my decision very soon." She quickly ran upstairs not being able to face Viraat and his Mom. Baffled by her reaction, Sunaina got sad.

Nisha consoled her, "Dont worry Sunaina ji, Let her think over it.. We will wait for her decision." Looking towards Viraat who was visibly sad at what happened, she said, "I think we should leave now.. Right Viraat?"

"Huh" Viraat came back to reality and said, "Ye.. Yes Mom"

Sunaina thanked her for everything and apologized for Maanvi's behaviour and Viraat took Jia to a corner.

"Hey!" He advanced his hand for a handshake "I assume you are Jia"

"Hi" Jia chuckled, "Yes, I am Jia and I know you are Viraat. Nice to meet you."

"Pleasure is mine baby." Viraat spoke as he placed his hands on Jia's cheeks and hugged her "Jia, baby will you do me a favour? Will you give me your Sister's contact number?"

"I am sorry, but I am the wrong person to be asked this. Never will i do anything unless Di tells me to do so!" Jia spoke in an authoritative manner.

"Not even if i buy you your favorite chocolates?" Viraat quizzed her

"Ummm, NO" Jia retorted

"10 chocolates"

"Will a song dedication do?"

"Ummm Okay a song with a lot of chocolates?"

Viraat tried to lure the little kid.

Jia couldn't resist and blurted out Maanvi's number and said, "I fulfilled my promise, now where are my chocolates?"

"Very soon baby" Having said this he started running as Jia chased him.

"You are very bad"

"Haha, thanks my lil princess... but every promise should be fulfilled at the correct time and THIS is not the time to fulfill yours" Viraat ran away to save his life and bumped into Nisha.

"Viraat, I have been waiting for you since so long, where had you gone?"

"No where Mom, This Jia, younger sister of Maanvi had trapped me in her plan and is now chasing me as i didn't fall for her."

"Haaw, No Aunty.. He trapped me.. he wanted the..."

"Jia, what did your sister teach you?? "You shouldn't argue with your elders baby" Viraat scoffed her and gave a victorious smile while Jia gave him angry looks.

Jia ran upstairs to inform Maanvi about what ever happened in the living room but Sunaina called her back to help her in keeping every thing back in place.

In the car, Viraat was engrossed in Maanvi's thoughts and was talking to himself, "I dont find any harm in Maanvi's wish. She just wants to contribute to her family even after her marriage. I am earning pretty good that even if Maanvi does not contribute here, it wont be a problem. She has every right to do it."

Nisha was visibly upset with some thing and this didnt go unnoticed by Viraat. He held her hand, and asked her to share her worries with him.

"Viraat, I have no problem with Maanvi coming in our home as our Daughter in law but did you see the way she behaved? The way she talked to you while you were standing alone in their living room?" She paused a little and said. "I dont expect my daughter in law to be rude and to answer back. I want you to forget her and come with me to look a few other girls. And I dont want further discussions on this matter."

Viraat was helpless but firm about not marrying any one else but Maanvi. He was waiting for the right time to call and talk to her.

Upon reaching home, Viraat went in his room, locked and threw himself on his bed lost in Maanvi's thoughts.

She has the right attitude, the charm, the looks, is independent and is well connected with her family.. Why is Mom not accepting her? Why does she feel Maanvi wont adjust as a Daughter in law of this family? Why does she think i should look out for some other girl?

He got up and gave words to his feelings

Mana Bada Mushkil Hai

He walks out of his room to call Maanvi to know about her feelings and decision.

Next Update:- Maanvi slaps Jia and Sunaina gets angry at Maanvi. Viraat calls Maanvi but Ankur picks it up.

Hahahaha Okay first let me laugh! :p I have never made an attempt to write anything related to poetry and the few lines that you read above are the outcome of my stupid brain which for no reason has been humming the second line and i thought it aptly describes Viraat's situation here.. No chappals at me for this! And Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.. will meet you in 2013 February month 😆

It was another fab update HAYee viraat this guy never fails to impress anyone omg mai toh ek baar bi na sochu but after all she is the one piece maanvi chaudary but y maanvi ran from there? He was so gentle and kind aww that jiju saali scene was so adoreable
