Heyy just found your FF last night and read it all in one go!! Totally loved it! The new characters your have introduced are fab...love the setting of the entire story...and Arnav-Khushi are adorable!! Love the way Arnav is softening bit by bit,,,and the texts were my favorite part 😊😊

Yes, yes, disappointing Teaser. More apologies: The chapter's not finished yet. Just started writing. And my schedule for tomorrow is totally packed, so, I'm really sorry, but no update! But rest assured, I'll do it asap!

Aman looked up at her in surprise. Khushi smirked at him.

'Use it well.'

It was there again, the same look he had seen on her face when she came for her interview and had dared to talk back to Arnav. She looked like she could have winked if the situation and propriety allowed it. He looked down at the paper in his hand and shook his head, smiling to himself.

Khushi turned and started for the door when a thought struck her and she halted. She turned back, hand letting go of the door knob.

'Sir?' Aman looked up at her.

'Yes, Khushi?'

Oh, down to first names now, are we? 'Why couldn't you just get it from the employee registers?'

Khushi blinked as Aman stared at her blankly. 'Why would I take all that pain? The database is so huge and the system so slow, it would have taken me so much longer.'

'But... So... Umm... You never accessed the registers...maybe in the last three days or so?'

Aman gave a short laugh and gave her an odd look. 'I have never accessed the registers. There was no need to, ever. But why do you ask?'

It was Khushi's turn to stare at him blankly. Her heartbeat sped up as realisation hit her. She quickly composed herself and said, 'It's nothing, Sir. Just some random stuff I overheard.' Her voice sounded unconvincing even to herself. Without waiting to see Aman's reaction, she pulled the door open and let herself out and started walking rapidly toward the elevator, her temporary phobia forgotten in her anger.

Liar.
