PART 53

Geet: Maan……

Maan looked at Geet's face and with just a look he knew she was all the way scared like she always was when they come for the scan. Geet was now 8 months pregnant and since the last incident the Khuranna's had forgotten their past just for Geet. Though Maan was all broken but he knew tat he had no way to do tat and had finally warned everyone tat it was time tat they forget everything. Geet though was fine but she kept herself aloof and it was much difficult for Maan as she would not leave him even for a second. She would cling on Maan fearing tat he may leave and go away. Everyone tried their best but in was no use and finally Maan had to hand over KC to Vicky for few days until Geet would trust him again and at the end of her 7 month she was finally back to herself and started to mingle with others letting Maan away for few hours for work and now they were back here at the hospital for their weekly check up and monthly scan to monitor the baby. Dr. Tripathi was very much careful with Geet and would specially meet her at KM after her duty hours checking and assuring her tat the baby was fine yet she was still unaware about her being slow poisoned and the main reasons of her complications as Maan had strictly warned everyone from doing so. Geet looked at Maan who was himself lost in his thoughts when he heard her say.

Geet: Maan.. humara baby… woh theek hoga na…

Maan slowly caressed her bugled tummy and placed a soft peck on her forehead.

Maan: You know Jaan… our baby is not like you… darpok.. but a tiger like Maan Singh Khuranna..

Geet: Haww.. darpok… aap na Maan… You.. medak… I hate you..

Maan: wat.. Medak.. how dare you Geet..

Geet:Haan medak.. nahi chua.. nahi.. aap na… woh… wohh..

Maan: haan.. woh kya jaan.. tiger na.. I know.. tat m..

Geet: Tiger.. chi…. Tiger aise thode hi hote hain…. You are hippo… see how big you are…

Maan: Jaan… hippo hoon isliye tho tumhe aasaani se utha saktha hoon.. kya hain na.. aaj kal meri Jaan.. mother elephant ban juki hain..

Geet : Haaw.. Maan.. aapne mujhe mother elephant kaha.. rukho.. abhi deekhati hoon…

Maan: Jaan m ever ready to see you.. you know how na.. par abhi nahi.. raat mein.. I would love to see you like tat…

Geet blushed hearing his words and hit him on his shoulders while Maan smirked.

Maan: Jaan.. aise na karo.. I swear I wont mind taking you here but see its not comfortable .. so abhi ke liye chup chap yaha laithi raho.. Dr. Tripathi will come anytime.

Geet: Par Maan.. baby..

Maan: Jaan.. baby is fine….. see every thing is monitored na.. and last time doctor said tat baby is healthy and this is the last scan.. so lets enjoy this na.. I want to see out baby inside you for the last time.. After tat baby will be in our hands na.. Jaan…

Geet: hmmm.. but.. m scared..

Maan placed his finger on her lips not letting her speak further.

Maan: sshh.. you know you think too much.. aur waise bhi.. hume ghar jaldi jaana hain..

Geet: Haan.. par Maan.. meri shopping… I mean everyone is done with their shopping except me… and its all coz of you.. aap mujhe shopping kab le jaa rahe hain..

Maan: shopping.. Jaan.. tumari tabhiyat theek hain na… I mean.. shopping..

Geet: Maan….

Maan was about to say something when they heard Dr. Shipla coming inside and saying..

Dr. Tripathi: So Geet… all set to see the baby for the last time on screen..

Geet smiled to her while the doctor was all set for the last scan but still she could see the worry in her smile.

Dr. Tripathi: Geet.. there's nothing to worry now… baby is very much healthy… and you yourself can feel na.. the way he kicks you.

Geet: haan… there's not a single moment tat the baby lets me to sit in peace.

Dr. Tripathi asked Maan to cover Geet from tummy while she set all the instruments and once ready she scanned her tummy and the moment she did they saw their baby move on the screen that was not less than a miracle for them.

Dr. Tripathi: There's the baby Geet.. see how active the baby is..

Geet: Doctor…

Dr. Tripathi: Geet trust me.. baby is much healthy tat wat we had expected earlier.. so now you both enjoy the baby.. I will be back.. (she went away)

Geet just saw Maan lost in the screen but she was more surprised to see those tears wetting his cheeks. Maan had been always with her during her scanning but today his eyes and face were just glowing with tat happiness that she was missing from months. she wanted to break his moment but her heart did not want to and she just kept looking at him letting him to enjoy this which she longed for while she spoke to her baby.

Geet: baby.. Mumma is jealous.. see Dadda.. he is just lost in you and Mumma.. here alone.. but m happy tat dadda will love you more than me..

Maan: m sorry baby.. Dadda can never love anyone more than Mumma..

Geet just kept looking at him while she was surprised to see him back with her and soon felt his fingers caressing her tummy inside the cover.

Maan: You know baby.. Mumma is an angel.. an angel in my dark life.. if she did not love me like this than I would have never been here with you..and u are another sweet little angel in my life…..but m sorry baby Dadda can never love you more….

Geet: don't lie Maan.. I know you love baby… more.. I just saw you all lost in baby…

Maan: nahi Jaan.. it can never be (Maan had tears in his eyes while he shifted his gaze on the screen) you know.. our baby its just your shadow.. the shadow which will protect me every time like you do..the heart tat will help me to hold myself from feeling guilty.. the life tat will let me know tat I, my life, my love, my soul and my heart belongs to the person who has given this angel to me… Puri duniya maanti hain Jaan.. tat Maan Singh Khuranna is the richest man.. but no one knows tat m the biggest failure and a begger when it comes to love… I don't want tat anymore.. I want the whole world to know tat.. m the wealthiest man on the earth.. not coz I have so much money.. but to have two angels in my life who did, do and will protect me from all darkness… the sun tat helps me to live my life.. the moon tat lets me to sleep peacefully with a smile..

Geet was just hearing his words and tears of love were the proof tat she was indeed truly in love with her Maan. Her eyes had tat shine in her by just watching and listening to the two important persons in her life. she softly wiped his tears pulling his head down giving a soft kiss onto his lips as a true gesture of love.

Geet: Its our sun Maan… humara sapna.. the dream tat will complete us in all senses and will bind us together now and forever..Maan…. (he was just again lost in the baby but still his ears listening to her sweet voice) I want our baby to be just like you.. like my Maan.

The moment these words left her mouth his stiffened closing her lips with his fingers while she was shocked.

Maan: Never say it Jaan… never ever.. our baby should not be like me.. not like Maan… never ever.. I don't want our baby to even to look like me… our baby should be just like my Geet.. the song and sweetness of my life… my sunshine.. my angel.. just like the way my baby's Mumma is…

Geet was awed with his words while she kissed his fingers, tears making their way smiling at him..

Geet: Humara Baby Maan.. humara baby who will be like Maan and Geet… just us.. I love You Maan.. I really love You..

Maan: and I live for you Jaan.. just for you two…

It was a dark room but the darkness was not the one, which adored it, but the true intentions tat lingered inside the dark room. Intentions that were high, intentions tat were just not dangerous but dangerous to such an extent tat it would destroy everything in its way. The room was filled with hatred and anger and blood tat was boiling looking at the large frame placed right in front with a dim light making it a bit clear yet it was surrounded with darkness. There were several marks and blood prints on the frame making it look more dangerous and letting know the intentions tat it was time tat they break, they cry, they fail and they beg for death each second.

" M back Khuranna's.. m back…. Time for the real game now… Samet lo jithni bhi Khushiya samet sakthe ho.. enjoy as much as you want. Laugh as much as you want…kyunki yeh khushiya tho sirf do pal ki hain ab…"

There was laughter, laughter than was just not a devilish laughter, a laughter that was ready to destroy the Khuranna's to every bit. A storm tat would destroy the Khuranna's without even knowing that they are heading towards their destruction.

" Zindagi ki sabse badi galati ki hain tumne and now be ready to pay for the worst.. worst than worst… just wait and watch.. and here I come back.."

Everyone was rejoicing the good news given by Maan and this added to the happiness tat had surrounded the KM and them. Vicky at once hugged Geet expressing his love, made her to sit and his hand on her tummy.

Vicky: hi sweetheart… you know you are the best.. no.. no best.. as your Mumma is best so you are the bestest best and now.. it will be double the happiness in our wedding.. I wish you could see your Chachu getting married but no.. Mumma wanted me and Pari to get married so tat we can welcome you as your Chachi – Chachi…. And m so so happy.. see sweetheart you are fine now.. but tat does not mean tat you will trouble you Mumma. ( Get raffled his hair making him to look at her).. let me talk na bhabi.. yeh aapka pati dev ( looks at Maan) does not give me any chance.. see its whole 1 day I have not talked to my sweetheart..

Geet: just 1 day Vicky..

Vicky: 1 day bhabi.. you know… 1 day has 24 hours, 1440 minutes and 86400 seconds…. See kitna lamba samay hain..

Geet: Haww.. my poor baby.. Maan this is not fair haan…

Maan: Bas karo nautaki baazo.. bahut hua… Mom.. can you please send some juice for her..

Geet: Juice.. Maan.. abhi tho aapne raste mein juice diya tha.. and now again.. please m not hungry please Maan..

Maan: Naa.. geet.. its 30 minutes past.. so now its time tat you have.. either juice or milk..

Geet: juice…

Maan smiled while Naina gave her juice to drink. Maan helped her to go upstairs to rest but it was not long tat she was back down doing work and instructing the servants as to how they should proceed. She was hell irritated with their constants mistakes while Pari, Naina and Dadima sat down holding their head and trying to convince Geet to rest. They were helpless as neither Maan nor Vicky nor Yash were at home and this was want Geet was looking forward for. They suddenly heard her shouting at the poor servants for not listening to her properly.

Geet: Don't you understand wat I said.. yeh phool yaha aise nahi waise lagana hain.. Pata nahi yeh Maan ne kaise workers hire kiye hain. do you even know how costly the flowers are… theek se kaam kareye warna aapke paise nahi dungi.. nahi smajthe kya mere devar ki shaadi hain.. devrani lane wala hain woh.. go… do as I said…. Kaamchor kahi ke… aane dijiye Maan ko…….

Maan: aa juka hoon.. wat were you saying…

Geet turned to see Maan, Vicky and Yash glaring at her. she ignored their glares and started with her ram katha.

Geet: Maan.. could not you find some better wedding planner.. Haan.. do you even know tat these workers are useless.. kabse keh rahi hoo.. aise karo waise karo.. par nahi.. they are hell bent on ruining everything.. isliye main keh rahi thi… let me inspect everything.. now see wat mess they have done. Who is going to finish all this..

Maan: as far as I can see its perfect Jaan..

Geet: perfect.. do you say such things perfect.. kuch tho sharam kijiye.. Khuranna khandaan mein shaadi hain.. log kya kahenge.. ki Vicky Singh Khuranna ki shaadi aur aisi decorations..

Naina: geet bete.. bahut hyper ho juki hain.. calm down and rest..

Geet: calm down.. Mom… are you joking.. we just have two days and I need to see tat everything is fine.. and you say calm down.. yeh Maan ne sab gadbad kar diya hain..

Maan: Bas…. Not a word more geet…

Geet: Bas kya..haan.. cant you see Maan they have wasted so precious flowers. I had warned them tat I need everything perfect par nahi.. when no one is there na.. this happens..

Geet: Or else wat..

Vicky: or else I will call off the wedding Bhabi..

Geet: Wat.. are you crazy Vicky.. just 2 days and you say wedding cancelled.. sach mein Maan ka bhoot basa hua hain tumne.

Pari : Bhabi… please sit. You have been standing since long.. please..

Geet: oye… Pari.. jyada mat bol.. you all are crazy.. shaadi ka ghar hain aur aap sab aise.. I don't even understand ki yeh shaadi ka ghar hain ya nahi..

Maan: Jaan… I said sit down for once… do you get it.

Geet: can you just keep your orders inside your pocket for 2 days Mr. Maan Singh Khuranna…

Vicky and Pari laughed hearing while the elders left them alone.

Geet: Kya hain na.. m fed of your constant orders and now m sure tat you are zero in such things.. so chup chap baitheye aur mujhe kaam karne dijiye..

Maan: Vicky.. would you please make her understand tat a word more than the wedding is off.. and I mean it..

Pari: Haan bhai.. you better call the wedding off… she will not listen now… Kaha tha humne.. tat if she sits quite than only we will get married nahi tho.. but now its time tat we take some action.

Geet looked at Pari in anger while Vicky just smiled seeing them.

Geet: oye… kaamchor.. khud tho rajkumari banker baithi hain and now you don't want even me to work.. why don't you say tat you are scared of me… chi.. Vicky.. yeh kaisi ladki pasand ki hain tumne..

Pari: Kyu.. why should I get scared of you..

Geet: kyu ki tu darr rahi hain ki main tumari Jethani banugi aur tu meri Devrani… you see.. Jethani 's have a upper hand always and you fear tat I will rule you.. kya kehte hain.. haan hukum giri…

Pari: Bhabi….. sit down…. Aur agar hukumgiri ki baat hain than you can do it now.. but if you don't stop this.. than..

Geet: Than.. shaadi cancel.. dekhte hain kaise karte ho.. haan agar if you do it than I will……. Delay my delivery…

Vicky: Wat… bhabi.. aap sach mein pagal ho juki hain…. just sit down now… aur rahi baat inh sab ki.. I will handle it… but please..

Geet: no I wont.. I don't trust anyone of them.. kahi aur kuch gadbad ki ho..paise lage hain.. paise kya tree me lagthe hain..

Maan: geeettt…..

At once Geet closed her mouth placing fingers on her lips while Vicky and Pari now smirked whispering " Hogaya.. now say.. bahut bol rahi thi na aap.."

Maan: I said sit.. for once…

But it was Geet, who never learnt to agree at first and said.

Geet: Maan.. please.. nahi maanugi main.. do you get.. now leave my way.. I need to see wat they have done outside..

Maan and Vicky glared at Geet while Pari just sat with a grumpy face staring at Geet and her over excited heart and mind tat was not ready to listen to them and finally forced her to sit warning tat if she does not listen to them than he would postpond the wedding for a year while Geet gave him, Vicky and Pari an angry glare as they all were smiling at her and her state.

Maan: Ab chup chap yaha baitho.. and I mean it Jaan.. just a slight movement from you and I will postpond the wedding for another year.. you know until and unless our baby turns 1 year…

Geet: wat… 1 year.. Maan kya aap inhe do premi ko sazaa dene chahte ho… Pari.. Vicky.. see wat Maan is saying..

Pari: Bhabi.. we don't mind.. kyu Vicky… do you..

Vicky: Nope.. darling.. and just imagine wat fun it will be.. my sweet cute sweetheart will attend chachu's wedding.. hain na bhabi.. so I don't mind waiting for 2-3 years also.. Lets go Bro.. we need to inform Dad also..

Geet: Oyee… nalayak… rukh.. who the hell are you to decide.. it was me who decided tat you and Pari will marry and no one can cancel it.. do you get..

Maan: Jaan.. I can.. so either you listen to me or I call off the wedding….

Geet glared at Maan with her cute anger while Maan smirked seeing her. He knew she will never let him to cancel the wedding and finally he was right.

Geet: Ok.. as you all say.. haan par baad mein mujhe mat kehne tat I did not warn you all..

Maan: good…now sit and do as I say.. and let us work..kya hain na sirf do din hain, Pari will be your Devrani …..

Geet: hmmm… chalo dekhte hain.. how do you handle all this.

Yash: Maa…… Bhool jaye woh sab.. and I warn you Maa.. none of you will tell them anything. I don't want this happiness to get ruined do you get.. not even Maan should know about it.
