Preferably larger furniture pieces like storage units and bookcases should be pushed towards the room sides and lighter ones should be given the central position. Your room will definitely look more spacious," she adds.

For Gauri funky accessories do all the magic. She shares, "You can pick eye-catching accessories and funk up your personal space. Picking up interior decor items from high-end malls is not a necessity, as you would get more interesting accessories at art galleries and antique shops. You can decorate your pad with aromatic candles and funky lamps, which will make your room look cosy."

Sandhya says, "I think a couch is an attention-grabbing furniture. The look of your house will change once you spruce up the couch. You can keep changing the cushion covers and opt for the ones that have mirror work."
