Chapter 10 Shooting Star

Aman interviews the new girl for Akash secretary. He seems satisfy with the girl and said "you have to get your appointment letter sign by ASR. And you have to do this yourself. He will sign only if he satisfies with you so be brave". The new girl nods her head and walk to the Arnav cabin.

She knocked the door and Arnav "come in". Adhee said "I have to go there are lots of works; I do not know how Khushi will manage". Arnav nods his head said "if you need any help please don't be hesitate to asks" Adhee smiles at him. The new girl comes in and the file in her hand slips from her grips and falls on the floor with a thud.

Adhee smiles slowly vanish from his face and replace by stone effect.

Arnav face turns in to utter surprise said "Payal you are here" Arnav was really feeling relief somehow he meet someone with Khushi other than Adhee. Arnav smiles widen and ask "So Payal what a surprise, what are you doing here" But Payal pays did not even look at him. Payal looks at Adhee face pleadingly. Arnav sees Adhee face turns in to stone and frowns.

Payal takes a step towards Adhee asks pleadingly "Please Ad, we never mean it I never mean it you know". But Adhee voice cuts hers "Miss. Payal Kumari Gupta, I have no interest in your so called explain and for your information it is Adhee Chopra and I would honor if you call me Mr. Chopra because Ad is only for MY best friends" with that Adhee stormed out of the office. Arnav mouth fell open he knows him from college day and never sees so angry with anyone, for truth Adhee never get angry, there are so many people wonder at him weather at last, even did he know how to be angry but today even Arnav Singh Raizada's angry is nothing in front of his.

Payal stands there try to hide her tears runs in her cheek. Arnav looks at Payal thought fully asks her "Payal sit" he orders for a juice in the phone. He studies at her till the Juice comes by Sukla. She looks little thinner than college time and her dresses is no more cost like they were at college. He knows she learns fashion designing. Is she here for work, then why did she beseech Adhee and Adhee, the ultra cool man get angry at this innocent girl. Arnav is well known that only one thing can makes him angry like this that means someone should have misbehave with Khushi. Arnav gaze fells on her feature deeply. He said without any emotion "First drink the juice Payal". Payal drinks the whole glass of juice without argument, in one go.

Arnav sees the files fell on the floor and collected by peon. He looks directly in to her eyes asks "So what makes Adhee angry at you" Payal looks at him pathetically said "My fate Arnav". Arnav shakes his head said "No Payal you have to answer me I know only one think can get Adhee this much anger and it is someone misbehave with Khushi so are you done any harm to Khushi" when he asks that question his jaws and his voice tighten and his eyes flashes the anger. Payal just keeps crying and tries to get up. Arnav asks her "where are you going, you comes here for work right". Payal looks at him confusingly nods her head.

Arnav takes the phone said "Aman prepare a letter for designer appointment in the name of Miss. Payal Gupta from tomorrow". Payal looks at him gratefully and asks "Do you know where Khushi is?" Arnav about to replay but said "Could you wait for few more days" Payal left with no option just nods. When she about to leave he said "You can join to AR from tomorrow, I know you are talented one, welcome to AR".

Payal come out of Arnav's cabin still wondering where would be Khushi. She bummed in to someone, about to fall but he catches her by shoulder makes her stand. Payal looks up at him said "I am sorry I did not notice you". He replied "it is okay, are you alright" She nods and leaves from AR.

Aman come to him said "Akash sir, Di is waiting for you in the phone".

Khushi was sitting in the balcony. Nihaal has sleep in her lap and starch out his leg to the sofa length. Khushi's hand caresses his hairs in its own accounts. She is so lost in thought. Adhee stormed in to the balcony about to talk, and then stop as he sees Nihaal sleeps in her lap. Without any words he lifts him to his shoulder and walk back. Khushi looks at him questioningly understand he wanted to talk to her about something most important. She waits till he comes from Nihaal bedroom.

Adhee comes and sat n front of the sofa. Khushi raises her eyebrows at him. Adhee furiously says "I met her today, I wanted talk to you in the morning right after but you were busy with shopping". Khushi lean forwards put her hand on his shoulder asks him by hand gesture "who". Adhee looks away from her face says "your sister Payal". Khushi's eyes widen in surprise and pleasure. He continues before she says anything "Yeah she asks about you but My Love I am not going to let you stay with them or near them for any reason". Khushi looks at him pleadingly but he be adamant said "No my love, you know how much I hate to say no to you but in this matter no". But she looks at him still pleadingly, he sighs and says "Okay you can meet them but certainly not stay with them, if you go with them then forget that there was a man called Adhee Chopra". Khushi slaps at his shoulder angrily. He shakes his head still on his ground said "I am sorry My Love but I could not forget what they do to you". Khushi understands him fully let out a sigh tries to change the subject asks in gesture "How is work going on in AR, how is everybody at AR and NAIT". Adhee smiles at her as he knew she is asking about Arnav in the name of others.

"I think he is missing you badly" Khushi looks at him with wide eyes, gesture "who" even she knows who is about Adhee talks about.

Adhee smiles and said "Arnav Singh Raizada, you should have see his face when I said you are busy at wedding plans".

Khushi bites her lower lips and bents down her head.

Adhee place a soft kiss on her head said "Don't worry much love main hoon nah, don't awake so late go to sleep right".

Khushi just nods her head.

Adhee leaves her as he knew she needs some times alone.

Arnav standing in poolside watching the stars, it has become his habit since Khushi left his life but even after he sees her he dose not stop. He just stares at stars. That habit gives him a lot of strength in the past and present. And he hopes he will continue this with his Khushi. He feels a hand in his shoulder turns to see his Di stand behind him. He asks "Is Aasha sleeping" Anjali nods her head asks "Don't you sleep Chotte? You were alright in the past week, what happen again". Arnav shakes his head about to say something, Anjali cuts in "you remember her are not you. Because of me...".Arnav places his finger on her mouth said "stop blaming yourself Di, you were sick at that time if I am not right beside you at that time when should I have". He makes her sat on the chair in the poolside and he too sat besides her.

Anjali smiles and asks again "so you remember her right"

Arnav shakes his head said "No I did not remember her"

Anjali said simply "A big lie"

Arnav replied with a smile "tumareh Kasam Di I did not remember her"

Anjali looks at him stunningly asks "Chotte"

Arnav looks up at stars said "Because I never forget her to remember".

Anjali runs her hand through his hairs said "She is really lucky one"

Arnav shakes his head said "No Di I was the lucky one" gulped down the pain insides his throat.

Anjali took his face in to her palm said "You will have her soon Chotte and you will be the luckiest one and she too, right". She looks directly in to his eyes.

Arnav gazes back at her and just shook his head. Anjali kisses his forehead said "Don't awake so late go to sleep soon right"

Arnav closes his eyes and nods. Anjali leaves him in the poolside.

Khushi looks up at the sky from balcony.

Arnav looks up at the sky from poolside.

A shooting star runs across the sky brightly.

Arnav closes his eyes

Khushi closes her eyes

Both wishes at the same time

"I want to be with her till the end of my life"

"I want to be with him till the end of my life"

They both open their eyes same time with same wishes at the same stars in different place.
