Hi everyone.. I am posting two formats of Seasons.

HumTum: Seasons

Me : Wow. This was one of the best episodes of the show.

You : You liked it so much?

Me : Oh, Yes' Fall season was excellent'

You : Fall? Hey, Hello' Its winter now'

Me : Exactly what I felt about the episode.

You : Eh? You know what? You are the weirdest weird person in the whole forum.

Me : What was it that your RK says, Sab ko apne paagalpan ka demo dikhane ka haq hai ..

You : Very funny!

Me : Thanks.

You : That was not a compliment.

Me : I know.

You : Never mind. You were saying something about Fall? Winter?

Me : I am sure you know about fall and winter season.

You : Fall? I love that season.. The leaves are so colored. Bright hues all around you.. It gets a bit depressing though when the leaves fall. And winter is so cold.. But, how is it related to the episode?

Me : Ha.. Did you watch today's episode?

You : Yes. I thought it was a very sad one. Poor Madhu. She was keeping the vrat for RK. She had so much hope... Sigh! When RK found out he got so angry. He told her that he wont break her fast. Madhu was shattered. It broke my heart to see her cry.

Me : I know... Fall, Winter and MEIEJ'

RamblinReck: Seasons

Fall' What does fall remind you of? Of falling down? Yes, it does. But it also reminds me of colors... Vibrant colors that refresh you. Such exquisite colors that delight your mind and add the extra spring to your step. The fall season is one of the most beautiful seasons visually. Do you gaze out to see the colorful leaves during this season? Ha... These colors never fail to delight even the grimmest person.

Yellow, orange, and red...

Do these colors remind you of her? Her with the delightful smile on her face... Her with eyes filled with hope... Her with eyes filled with pride... Her with eyes brimming with joy, blooming with the knowledge of her love for her husband...

Have you not seen her gazing at her husband when he is sleeping, her eyes speaking the depth of her love? Have you not seen her looking at her husband with a lost expression on her eyes?

Yellow, orange, and red...

Hope, passion, and romance...

Do you remember the smile on her face when she realizes her feelings for her husband? The excuses she makes to meet her husband? Do you remember her imagining herself dancing with him? On the bridge, clad in a red saree? Do you remember how shy she was to meet his eyes? Do you remember the moment her heart skipped a beat in the telephone booth? The smile on her face when her husband calls her "Biwi"?

Yellow, orange, and red...

Hope, passion, and romance...

Have you not enjoyed seeing her realization of love, like you enjoyed seeing the beautiful trees around you? Have you not enjoyed seeing her dance with her husband's coat? The dance in which she says 'I love you'... The smile on her face when she realizes she was dreaming of him?

Yellow, orange, and red...

Hope, passion, and romance...

The constant smile on her face... It baffles her poor husband, but it also makes him happy. "I am happy that you are so happy." Wasn't that what he told her? Like her happiness brings him joy, don't the fall colors fill our hearts with joy?

Is there anything she wouldn't do for him? Her happiness at keeping the vrat for her husband's long life... Does it not shine on her face? What hardships she endures for these colors...

Yellow, orange, and red...

That was yesterday and today, what do we have? Bare trees... Fall... Yes, It both delights and saddens... The once colorful leaves are now gone and lying all over the ground. Just like Madhu's hopes... What a painful sight to behold!

After fall, comes winter. Bitterly cold and harsh. Chill winds add to its harshness. Does his lashing at her in anger "You will not see your husband's face tonight" remind you of those cold winds blowing against the bare tree? What happens now?

The weak ones will fall under such an onslaught, but the strong will stand tall. The optimist among you will know this saying 'hope springs eternal', for what comes after winter but spring? The ones who endure winter are promised the fruits of spring!

PS. No pun intended re. fruits.

I liked both bt the 2nd part i mean RamblinReck was fab. Just too good & u wrote it so well.

Hey Sonu ( was going to call you applenpeaches but then i saw you signed your name ) loved your Rambling reck : Seasons

I think this my first Rambling reck that i have read, but I did read a couple of Hum Tums before. But if I have to compare between your last Harry Potter and Seasons, i would say Harry potter was a light read. It was funny and i was amazed at how you found this similarity between Harry and Dips. Not even in my wildest dream could I ever make this analogy.

While Seasons left me in a spell of introspection. The metaphor between seasons and Madhu's feelings was so beautifully written. Kudos to you...will be waiting for more

P.S. I just read the hum tum post of seasons (posted below) i guess i missed that post before. Well its funny but i loved the Rambling reck more.

... both of them r such Excellent posts ... poignantly bringing out d essence of today's episode ... though RamblinReck is more to my taste , your Hum-tum posts r always so thought provoking too ... waiting for more ... and thanks for these two ... Absolutely fabulous 😃
