Charu is Sony's Kaajal

Surveen Chawla, better known to avid soap watchers as Charu from Kahiin To Hoga, will now be seen on Kaajal which will be aired on Sony Television. The show, produced by Twenty Twenty, will be launched soon. The promos have already hit the small screen and the plot seems to be quite interesting.

This is Surveen's first show in which she gets to play the main protagonist. An insider says, "Surveen is shooting for Sony's new show Kaajal and she is playing the main lead. She is paired opposite Apoorva Agnihotri." The actress left Kahiin To Hoga a while ago, after her character died.

It was rumoured that Surveen and Aamna Shariff, who plays Kashish, were at loggerheads and not on talking terms during the shooting of the serial. Aamna apparently felt that Surveen had copied her hairstyle and looked very much like her.
