How much would you spend on a pair of shoes? I guess that depends on how much your boss spends on you every month. Beez (that's what friends call model Bhawna Sharma) spent Rs 12,000.

VJ Anusha Dandekar spent terah hazaar. Think it's a waste of moolah? Well, celebs live by the have-it-flaunt-it, earn-it-spend-it funda. At least, that's what celebs we caught at Hollywood film, Miami Vice's premier, seem to swear by

Bhawna Sharma, model, wore Gladiator sandals from Paris
A never-ending pair of Gladiator sandals is just the pair for 5'8 tall Bhawna Sharma. She picked up this dashing pair for 200 euros (Rs 12,000) in July. "I was passing by a store in Paris, and when I saw this Roman-styled pair kept in the display, I loved it," she says, about the sandals that not only fit her stick-like legs smugly, but are also a fab accessory to highlight a minimal ensemble.

Bakhtyar Irani, comedian, Adidas sneakers from London
Look at the photograph! Doesn't the man look totally smitten by the newly acquired pair of electric blue sneakers? His lady love Tanaaz Lal told us that the two picked this particular pair during their last trip to London. Not so long ago, Bakhtyar had spotted football star David Beckham wearing this pair in a glossy. So, when the comedian set his eyes on the ekjact same pair at an Adidas store, he had to own it. Simple as that.

Anusha Dandekar, VJ/actor, Mukluk boots from London
Mukluk (muk'luk'): This word originated in the United States (Alaska) and is defined as a soft boot made of reindeer skin or sealskin, and worn by Eskimos.Fortunately, Anusha Dandekar is wearing a suede version of the Alaskan find. Even though she bought this pair in London for 150 pounds (Rs 13,000) a year ago, the humidity in Mumbai kept her from wearing them as often as she would have loved to. "I had stopped wearing the pair since it's not wise to surrender your favourite shoes to the city's heat and torrential rain. But last week, the cooler climate allowed me to flaunt them," she says.
