Thulasi looked at GW then at Tamil. Tamil noticed how she looked a little scared. He gave her an assuring look and told her everything was going to be fine.

Tamil to his mom: "Well mom, you heard right. I wasn't planning to get married today but after hearing you this morning and after the way you threatened Thulasi, I knew I had to get married to her. I love her too much to miss her in my life. Thank you for everything."

GW: "Dei, what are you saying? Why are you thanking me?"

Tamil: "Enna me, you don't know. It's because of you that I get to marry Thulasi today. She was also worried that you may not come to our wedding but see now it's perfect you are here also. "

GW was confused and mad at herself inside.

Tamil faced Charu now and said: "Hey Charu, meet Thulasi. Thulasi, this is Charu a family friend."

Thulasi said hello and looked at Charu who paid no attention to her.

Thulasi looked at Tamil and smiled.

The priest performed the rituals and finally said:

"Mangalyam thanthuna nena. Mamajeevana hetuna. Kante badhrani shubage. Thwam deeya sharadam shubam..."

Tamil took the gold thaali from the coconut on the plate and tied it around Thulasi's neck while everyone threw flowers at them. He then put kungamam on her forehead and Thulasi started to tear up. Tamil took her in his arms and gave her a tight hug while kissing her forehead. They then performed the other rituals and got the blessings of the elders. Everyone was happy looking at both of them together. Thulasi held Tamil's arm now and looked at him. He looked back at her and smiled.

He said: "I love you pondatti..."

Thulasi blushed trying to hide her smile. The newlywed couple Mr. & Mrs. Tamilarasu looked at each ready to start their new future together.
