Part-6:At AK office
Next day, Khushi was in her cabin with Lavanya...they were working on their upcoming fashion show...Khushi had to finalise some designs as she was in charge...and Lavanya was discussing with her about the promotional strategy for their show...while they were busy in their work...someone knocked the door..Khushi asked that person to come in...while checking some files...the person entered and saw both of them engrossed in their work...when suddenly Lavanya looked at the door to see the person standing there...
Lavanya: yes?? umm...you are??(with a confused look)
Person: Hi...I am Karan Singhania...(he said with confident voice)
Khushi looked up to see the person...and shocked to see him here at her office...and even so early...he was coming back from his work 2 days later...she stood up...with blank face...
Lavanya: oh hhooo...so you are Karan...hi...I am Lavanya...I hope Khushi told you about me...??(with a naughty smile)
Karan: actually we haven't talk that much yet...(with warm smile)
Lavanya: oo...ok...thats not a problem...we met at last...(sweetly smiles at him)
Karan: yeah...must say you are truly beautiful...(taking her wrist and kissed there)
Lavanya: oh thanx a lot...(she blushed a little)Khushi was watching this...with a confusion in her mind...
Karan: Lavanya..can I have some word with Khushi in person if you don't mind..??
Lavanya: oh yeah sure...babes...i'll catch you later with the report...before that I'll need to discuss with ASR also...so I'll take your leave guys...enjoy!!(she winked at them and left the cabin)
Khushi gestured him to take a seat in front of her table...till now she didn't say anything...Karan took a seat and broke the silence...
Karan: Hi Khushi..
Khushi: hmm..hi...(looking here and there and then looked at her files)
Karan: you are not surprised or happy to see me??(with a question expression)
Khushi: really?? should i be happy or surprised??(as she didn't know why he was here..she knows very well...but she doesn't want to pretend)
Karan: well..we will get engaged very soon...so i thought to surprise you by coming before the date which was fixed...
Khushi: thats so nice of you Karan...but i guess you are taking me in a wrong manner...i only agreed to meet you..not for marriage...so stop dreaming...(looking at him...with a "I don't care" attitude)
Karan: okay...i won't...but at least can i ask you for a lunch today??(with a pleading face)
Khushi: what??(very confused)
Karan: you agreed to meet me right? and we are meeting in office...in this way we can't discuss about us...so better we spend some time during lunch...i am not that bore i can assure you..(with a sweet smile..actually he was trying to be good as much as possible after what happened in their 1st meeting...just to woo her...)
Khushi thought of something...then she thought that she actually didn't have any option..so she agreed...
Karan: great then...i'll pick you after 1 hour? is that ok with you?
Khushi: ok fine...(with fake smile unnoticed by Karan)
Karan had a smile on his face and left the room promised her to meet again...
Khushi was very confused all this time...she agreed to meet him for lunch...but was she actually ready for it?? then she thought of giving it a try...just to see what actually she wants?? she decided to give a chance to Karan...she washed off the thought from her mind...and again started working...
Arnav had a long meeting with his associates...after the meeting.. he thought of having lunch with his friends...he asked Suzy to call Khushi, Aman and Lavanya to come in his cabin...Suzy informed him about Khushi...that she is not in office...gone somewhere...will be back after lunch...Arnav didn't bother that much thinking maybe she has gone for any business issue...Aman and Lavanya entered his cabin...then they started having their lunch...when Lavanya started talking...
Lavanya: hey guys...I forgot to tell you...our dear KKG...at last gone for a date..!! can you imagine?? (with lots of excitement throwing her both hand in the air)
Arnav & Aman: what?! (with surprise look and both stopped eating)
Lavanya jerked a little...as she didn't expect such reaction...
Lavanya: yeah..!!(with a weird confusing smile continuing her meal)
Arnav: with whom??(with lots of doubt and confusion)
Aman: thats a great news..!!(with lots of excitement)
Arnav: when did she leave??
Aman: at last she is gonna end up her long single life..!!
Arnav: why didn't she inform me??!!
Aman: does she know how to date a guy??
Arnav: is she safe with that guy??
Aman: does she know how to do IT? (just when Arnav looked at Aman with shock)
Lavanya...all this while was just swapping her view from Arnav to Aman and Aman to Arnav...then she shouted..
Lavanya: stop it guys..!! relax...you guys are behaving like kids..
Arnav: then why don't you just answer me damn it?!
Lavanya: did you give the chance to answer?? just look at both of you...confusion and excitement collide...(she looked at Arnav who was actually irritated).. ASR...relax...she has gone with Karan...Karan Singhania...remember??
Arnav: he is here?? but he was out of town...
Lavanya: yeah..he is back now...and he has taken her out..
Arnav: okay...(he behaved like it doesn't really matter...but he didn't feel good at all and continue his meal)
Aman: now this is cool...now I am the only one who doesn't have any girlfriend...ASR..why don't you teach me??(with a funny sad face)
Lavanya: what will he teach you??(raising her one eyebrow with confusion)
Aman: how to patao a girl...(with a disappointment)..i mean he has gone to date with almost every model of AK design...what say ASR??(he winked at him)
Lavanya: but still virgin...!! (she was trying hide her giggles)
Arnav glared at her...when both Aman and Lavanya stopped..and changed the topic to business...after the lunch Lavanya and Aman left for their works...Arnav made some calls...and left his cabin...he was upset...not because Khushi was with someone...but because she didn't bother to inform him..he needs his answers...how can his best friend could do something like this...he won't interfere in her life...but he has a right to know whats going on in her life...and yeah...he will ask her...and she'll have to answer...
