"Kuch bhi ho….Kuch bhi ho…Maan should not come face to face with Akash & Sameer…warna buhot badi gadbad ho jayegi...Aur who the heck gave this bright idea to Akash to come to office & pick me up!!!!Agar Maan ne dekh liya toh!! Nahi Nahi aisa nahi hoga…" she glanced at the watch, "Aur abhi tak Akash aaya kyun nahi…."

Geet was standing near the gates of KC waiting for her first suitor to arrive. After a few seconds, she saw a lean looking man fastly approaching her. She matched him with the photo which Preet had mailed her & confirmed it to be Akash!

"Are you Geet Handa?" asked he, a little surprised.

"Yes."

"No because I--"

"Can we talk about it later?" she interrupted him, "Where are we going?"

"Haan, Yes Yes! Come."

Geet was startled when Akash held her hand & started to walk. Before she could object, a long car drew up before them, blocking their way. Geet at once recognized it to be of Maan's. Maan slid down the window of his car & saw Akash holding Geet's hand. He was agitated. He stared at Akash with baleful eyes so much so that the poor fellow cursed his being there!

"Leave her hand!!!!" came Maan's gruff voice.

Akash did so robotically. Geet did not know what was to come next. Akash didn't want Geet to know that he was scared. With great guts he spoke

"Y-Y-Y-You are blocking o-our w-way. Move aside warna--"

"Don't you know a person in foot should not compete with the person in the car, else the latter can be crushed by the former!" Maan said harmfully which scared Akash.

She, on the other hand, was looking wide-eyed at Maan

"Did the moon rise from the south today????? Maan ko kya ho gaya??????????????????????"

"Akash" she whispered, "Don't angry him. It's better you go away from here as of now. You don't know who he is…"

"N-N-No, I-I-I am not scared, I know he is Maan Singh Khuana, but that doesn't mean he can do anything. I will at once go & speak…I-I mean threaten him…"

Akash walked towards him with unsteady legs. Maan got out from his car waiting to pounce on him.

"Dekhiye I don't know why are you doing this! But me & my girl--"

"Your girl???" Maan caught his collar hard. But seeing Geet looking at him, he controlled his anger, "Better think of the words you speak, kahin aisa na ho ki baad mein pachtana pade!!!!"

Akash was stunned & petrified. Geet couldn't hear their talk but seen Maan clutching Akash's collar.

"D-D-Don't d-d-dare try to be kabab mein haddi!!!"

"Kabab ka toh pata nahi, but if you ever try to meet her again, I will make sure you become boneless & I mean it!!!! Geet is my girl & she will always remain mine!!! "

Akash couldn't say anything further before Maan's utterly stern voice. Maan sensed that.

"Good! Now go & tell her that you don't wish to meet her again!!!!!!!"

Akash at once did as was told. Geet was startled as she saw Akash hurriedly departing from there.

"Aree… Akash wait.. kya hua….aree ruko toh…"

But Akash was in no mood to listen. After he left, Geet walked towards Maan with a frown on her face but he was looking intently at her.

"Yeh sab kya tha????"

"Sit in the car Geet!"

"You did not answer my question! Aapne aisa kyun kiya?? "

Maan remembered his grilling session.

"Karna hi pada nahi toh tum uske saath chali jati!"

"So what?"

"I had told you before, you cannot go out with anyone from the male gender!"

Geet was shocked. "Yeh kya--??"

"Fine! I understand! I shouldn't have gone with Rahul because he is supposed to work alone in the project! But why now? Akash is not related—"

"I don't care whether it is Rahul or whoever!"

"Why? It's my personal life! I can do anything aur waise bhi –"

"Geet! You can do as you please when your are outside the premises of KC. Now look where are you standing, within the office gates, so you have to do as I say!"

Geet did not know what was wrong with him. He was angry but in a different manner which he had never been before….

"I-I don't see anyway why my going with Akash should bother you because as far as I know you are avoiding me since five days!"

"Geet!" he yanked her close, "Sit in the car!!"

"No! First you have to explain your behavior !"

"You can't counter-question your Boss!"

He held her tighter. She was dazed. Her heart beats were rising & she tried her best to not let him know about it.

"I don't know what's your problem!" she looked away from him.

"I had problem because he held your hand & I hated that!"

He said abruptly. Geet looked at him, stunned.

"Ho gaya? Now Sit in the car!"

"N-Nahi, I can take a rickshaw & go to the PG!"

"Geet!" he shook her closer as she was losing control on her beats. "Do as I say quietly, else I can even force you in & you know that!"

O…kay? So they had faced a similar situation before but this time he said it differently.

Maan sat in the car waiting for her to sit in too. He saw her opening the door of the backseat. That saddened him.

"You can't sit there! You have to sit in front with me!"

"Nahi! It's my wish wherever I sit!"

"I repeat you are still within the office premises, so do as I say!"

"No!" she was about to sit in the backseat when Maan said

"Toh thik hai, let the driver drive the car & I will come & sit behind with you!"

"If the driver drives the car, then I will sit in the front seat & you sit alone behind!"

"Bhool jao! Aisa toh mein kabhi hone nahi doonga!"

"Really? Toh phir aap kya kar loge?"

"Geet! Kahin iss front seat & back seat ke chakkar mein hamein puri raat office mein na guzaarni pade!" he smirked a little

Her heart skipped a beat hearing that. She did as he said.

Maan began to drive the car time to time stealing glances at her while Geet was in her own world.

"Yeh Maan ke andaaz badle badle se kyun laga rahe hai??? Geet! He can never behave like this. He is so akkdu types. You are dreaming. Rinse your face 10 times after you reach PG!. "

"I think you have forgotten that you were avoiding me!"

"Avoid karne ka quota is over. Mera mood nahi hain tumhe avoid karne ka!"

"Why is he answering in this manner???? "

"I was on the verge of thinking Adi Sir my Boss & you Big Boss because aap toh itne din mujhe kabhi dikhae nahi dete the!!!"

"So…you mean to say that you always want me in front of your eyes?"

She stared at him wide-eyed, "N-Nahi m-mera woh matlab nahi tha…"

"Toh you felt bad when I avoided you?"

"Maan aise question kyun puch rahein hain?? & why is he smiling??? Ek toh pehle se hi it's so difficult to control my beats & he is making it more difficult…"

"I am waiting for your answer Geet!"

"No I didn't feel bad at all!"

"Thoda bhi nahi?"

"Nahi!"

"Thoda sa bhi nahi?"

"M-Maine k-kaha na nahi!!"

"Not even 1 % ?"

"Nahi!!!"

"Hmm…toh phir agar thoda bura nahi laga phir buhot bura laga hoga!"

"Y-Yes…no….Ye-es…I-I mean Yes…n-no"

"Buhot jyada bura laga hoga!"

"Yes..nahi….Aap aisa kyon kar rahe ho?"

He was enjoying her stammers. She was flustered seeing him smiling.

"100% bura laga hoga!"

"Yes . I admit! I really felt sad!!! Why were you doing like this? I couldn't bear it!!!! I just couldn't take it!!!!"

"Why?"

"Because I lo-"

She stalled at the right moment & looked away from him. Her heart was pounding & she felt herself blushing!! She couldn't believe she was blushed! She had never ever blushed before! She looked at him. He was calmly driving the car while a smile was playing on his lips!

"What happened to you all of a sudden…and…and…you were interested only in business dealings na….kaam…kaam..kaam…then why are you grilling me…what do you want to know…tell me…tell me…do you want to know that do I really lo--"

Maan stopped the car abruptly. Her PG had come but she was still blabbering

"Kya jaana chahate aai aap….boliye na…and…and..and…why did you bring me here PG mein, aap mujhe kahin aur…"

She pursed her lips.

"Shut up Geet!!! Shut up!!! Buhot ulta seedha bol liya!!!"

"Why? Kya tumhe kahin aur jana tha?" he was smiling with a glint in his eyes.

"Nahi!!! Home Sweet Home!!!"

Geet at once got out of the car. He watched her go. She wanted to turn back & look at him but she rushed her steps. Maan kept watching her until she was out of sight!

"Geet! Kya kare subah ko tumne jo meri class li thi, this was a short demo of that!"

He took a U-Turn & made his way to Khurana Mansion. After so many years his heart felt happy. He was so much into Geet that he didn't know that he had broken a signal! It was only when he heard the traffic police whistle, than he halted.

He slid the window of his car down & saw two traffic police. One was old & the other one young.Even before they could say anything to him, Maan said

"I love her!"

At first the policemen were startled, then they resumed their sternness, "Woh sab toh thik hai, but as of now you have to pay a fine!!!!"

"Fine???? Just because I love her????"

"Sir, you have broken a signal!"

"Ohh!!!"

While Maan was paying to the old police, the young inspector whispered to him

"Thank God you didn't say I love you to this old fellow!"

"Why would I say to him?" asked Maan, sternly.

"Because…you people who realize quite late that you are in love, often tend to make such mistakes!"

Maan did not reply anything to that comment. Instead he drove away…

While walking through the corridors of KC, Maan said to himself

"I love Geet and….she too loves me….that's what she said that day before I was to get engaged…she did not saw once…she said it twice….she said it twice…"

Maan finally could understand Geet's lip movement that say… Dadima saw a new Maan entering the Mansion. Her heart felt happy seeing him. She smiled….

"Why did he grill me so much???? It was as if I have done the same to him!!!!!"

Geet was sprawling on the bed trying to make head & tail of Maan's sudden change of behavior towards her.Then suddenly she got up & sat on the bed

"Was Maan jealous by any chance??? If I analyze when Rahul was with Dia, Maan hardly cared. Instead he was busy scolding me seeing the ink in my hand." She blushed while remembering, "And now seeing me with Rahul, he got so angry. And even in this Akash case…!"

She again lied down

"Don't jump to conclusions yaar. There is nothing of this sort. ….! Aisa nahi ho sakta…It was all an illusion…."
