Part 11
Vishakha and Swayam escaped away from college together and went to the caf where they knew they'd find Shivam there. They took a table close to them but out of eye sight. Just to be extra cautious, they hid their faces behind the menu and stole a glance one by one. Both of them were trying to get a look at Shivam's bag.
Vishakha murmured, "This is not working out! We need another way." Swayam nodded, showing his agreement. She looked around and got an instant idea when she looked at the waiter.
"Got it." She said and got up to leave before Swayam could stop her. She stealthily entered the kitchen and quickly grabbed an apron. Entering the washroom, she tucked her hair in and wore a hat on top of it. Tying the apron around her, she looked like a complete boy at work. She walked out and walked over to Shivam's table.
"Your order sir?" she spoke, making her voice deep. Swayam dipped his head down, praying with fingers crossed that she doesn't get caught.
"One Choco latte and a sandwich." He ordered without even looking up from his iPhone. Vishakha purposefully dropped her pen so she can get a better look inside his bag. She pretended to apologize and bent down to pick it up. In the process, she slightly opened his bag. Lucky for her, it wasn't completely zipped up so it was easy. She took a quick glance in and got up before he would suspect anything.
She gave the order to the person and got out of her get up and went back at the table to be a customer. She told him what she found. "Our suspicion is right. There is an envelope in his bag and I could faintly point out Rey's name on it. We have to get to it somehow."
He gave few seconds of considerate thought. "Let's go." He got up and left. She followed.
"How are we going to get it though?"
Once in the parking lot, he turned and replied. "We're not. Someone else will." There was only one person in his mind who could help them. Sharon.
While re-entering the college, Vishakha asked. "But why will she help us? She hates him for what he did to her and the Dazzlers."
"That is exactly why she'll help us." He replied. "We just have to find her."
"Shouldn't be so hard. Just look in the rehearsal room. She always goes there whenever she's upset."
He stopped in his tracks. "How do you know she's upset?"
"Why does everyone think I'm oblivious?!" She exclaimed. He gave a confused look. She knew she would have to elaborate. "Even Kriya thought I knew nothing about her and Rey. And now you think the same. I was coming to get you when I overheard the last bit of the conversation you guys had earlier. Plus, once we were on our way, there was sadness in your eyes. Others might miss it but I didn't. I might not say it to you, but I do notice."
"Thanks for clearing that up." He said, resuming their walk, a bit of sarcasm in his voice.
"Do you want to talk to her alone or'?"
"Come with me?" he asked. She nodded.
***
It was night time. Vishakha sat on her bed as she emailed Kriya with her laptop.
Hey! So we did find your letter. Shivam had stolen it. We've found a way to get it back as well. Don't worry' the least I can do is find that letter and make sure Rey gets it, right? But why don't you just send him another one? It would save a lot of trouble.
Right after she sent it, she got a reply back in 10 minutes.
Hey! Wow, what else can be expected from that creep? What does he want now? He's done enough by indirectly telling my mom about the competition! Just get it delivered to Rey please. I would if I could. I promised mom that I won't contact Rey after that letter. If I send him another one, I would be breaking her promise. I don't want to do that.
Reading the reply, she replied back immediately.
Seriously?! That *** was the reason your mom found out! I swear, I won't leave him! God Kriya, I really don't understand you. One minute, you say you're mad at her for doing this to you. And the next, you don't want to break your promise either. Anyway, I'll see to it that he gets it. Go sleep now. It's already past 11.
Kriya was already asleep by then. She didn't hear her laptop beep when the reply came. On the other hand, Vishakha went back to that afternoon when they had a talk with Sharon.
*Flashback*
Sharon was dancing to an instrumental. This way, she was letting out her depression and anger. Swayam and Vishakha entered the room. She was oblivious to that. She continued dancing till the number ended and she dropped on the floor. Swayam was taken aback with the amount of aggression left inside of her. While Vishakha simply stood there, knowing that it was expected. After all, they did used to be friends at one point; even if it was for a brief period.
"Sharon'" she said, bringing both Swayam and Sharon out of their own world.
"Leave me alone."
She said without looking up. Vishakha looked at Swayam, wanting him to speak up. It wasn't possible though as he was staring at her in surprise.
Thus, she continued. "We need your help." Sharon was about to give a snotty reply back but Vishakha continued before she could. "It's about Rey." That pushed back whatever comment Sharon was about to make. She immediately stood up and realized how it had all started. Her original motive was to get to the bottom of Rey's state. Along the way, she got lost in her own messed up relationships.
Looking towards Vishakha, she saw Swayam there as well. She finally noticed he was there and wondered if he had been there all along. She saw more chances of 'yes' than 'no'. She pushed her feelings aside for the moment. 'It's about Rey' had caught her attention.
"What is it? Is he alright? What happened?" She started questioning.
Vishakha walked in to give her comfort. "He isn't fine. But with your help, he can be."
"What happened?" Sharon demanded the answer to the question again.
Swayam spoke up for the first time since being there. Noticing the way Sharon was pushing aside her feelings for Rey, he thought he should do the same. It pained him more to see Rey in that state rather than his own pain.
"Shivam happened." He stated with a serious look. Sharon looked at him, confused on what he meant. Was he talking about what happened between him, her and Shivam? Or was it something else that she wasn't aware of completely?
The rest of the night, Swayam said nothing else. It was Vishakha who filled her in on all the gaps. Firstly, they had to tell her about Rey and Kriya's relationship and then she told her about how Kriya left a letter for Rey like she had for Swayam. But Rey never got his. Then she went on to explain their little adventure a few minutes ago and how they found out that it actually was Shivam who started the whole mess. Now, if they had to get the letter back and solve the misunderstanding Rey was having about Kriya, they needed her help.
"How can I help?" She had said, determined to punish Shivam for his ill deeds. Now, it wasn't just about winning a competition. He had crossed his limits and broken up her best friend's relationship with the girl he loved the most. It was true that she and Kriya had their own rivalry going on. But it didn't matter anymore. What mattered was that Rey loved Kriya and that was just the way things would be. She would have to get around to simply accepting Kriya. If anything she couldn't handle was breaking relationships.
Yes, she herself had her problems with her relationship with Swayam. Then again, she didn't pay much heed to it as she and Swayam never were in a relationship. She knew his feelings but she was confused on hers. Rey and Kriya' their situation was different. Both of them loved the other and both of them knew that. By doing this, Shivam broke them apart. This was something Sharon would not tolerate. The soft-broken heart of Sharon was now filled with determination to avenge Shivam and make him pay for his misdeeds.
*Flashback ends*
Vishakha put her laptop to sleep and went to sleep herself. She had to get a good night sleep before they put their part 2 of the plan in action. It would the big day when they get the letter back and bring the truth out in everyone.

And that's the end of this chapter. Giving two chapter updates to sorta compensate for not updating this whole month. I know it doesn't make up for it... I will try my best to cover it up by giving like 5 page updates every other day from now on. *emphasis on 'try'*
Anywho, hope you liked the update! Part 10 was mostly abotu SwaRon. I wanted that thing cleared out between them... Something the CVs never thought on doing and that had angered me a lot. And next chapter will again be a major turn-around. Look out for it!
Waiting for tons and tons of comments and likes 😳 Oh, I'm still open for your ideas and if you really want me to add a track in here that you think will fit. I'm putting in my twists but with that, I will need many other scenes. If you have aything in mind, feel free to PM me about it. This is for all the D3-ers after all =)
