Swayam's POV:
"Rohan, Honey hurry up I have some important discussion with dad" I quickly zipped up his jacket, neatly combed his hair and gave him a quick peck on his cheek."Honey, remember Kria aunt and Rey uncle are my bestest friends enjoy your day with them and bring back lots of pictures for for you dadda, Ok??"
"But dadda why aren't you coming with me??", He argued. "Honey do you think dadda likes to leave you alone??" he shook his head negatively . "Then understand na beta your grandpa and grandma want to discuss something important. I promise tonight we both will play your favourite lego" His eyes started shinning with a excited glint nodding we both entered the living room where Rey and Kria were waiting for us.
"Rey, Kria" I shouted excitedly hurriedly I rushed upto them and engulfed them both in a long never ending embrace. They returned the gesture.
"Rey, Kria this is my baby Rohan and Rohan these two are my best friends and the one whose wedding we are gonna attend" he was grinning towards them Rey was feeling nervous so I just informed him not to worry Rohan was excited because he was going to attend an Indian wedding for the first time which made him relax.
After a little catch up, Rey and kria stood up and were about to leave when Rey motioned Kria to take Rohan with her. After they left Rey began, "Swayam, tell me the truth who actually Rohan is??"
I sighed. "He is my son Rey" I added nonchalantly. "Please go and lie to someone else Swayam. He does not even look like you, only his behaviour is like yours and thats may be because you two live together". I closed my eyes remembering past and started narating him everything.
"Ok fine he is not my blood but he is my son. 4 years ago Shivam cheated on Taani and used Kiara my best friend for that. She fell pregnant and so proposed Shivam to marry her but that leach was already married and this way Kiara came to know the truth. She was obviously against abortion and for that I am proud of her" I said wiping my tears.
He placed a hand on my shoulders signalling me to go ahead. I said continuing, "She decided to be a single parent. and I was planning on offering her my full support afterall she was a victim too. Sometime during her 8th month doctor told us that there were some complication in her pregnancy and when the time come they will only be able to save one of them."
"She chose for Rohan to live. She asked me take care of Rohan after her death. As you know why I left India I never able to fall in love again she asked me marry her so that Rohan would officially be my son and I agreed but I day we got married was the day she died also".
"Leaving Rohan with me from that day onwards I made it my duty to love Rohan as both his mom and dad and that I will never tell him the truth about his biological dad anso here I am"
"I told him how Taani and Shivam seperated and how he is still trying to win Taani back but I have restrained her from doing so and how she hates hates and blames Rohan for all what happened".
He stood up and took me a brotherly embrace. This was why I missed him so much he always understood me and supported me... and after that he left.
And I left for Shikhawat mansion to meet mom and dad for some discussion.
"Hey mom, hey dad what did you both wanted to tell me??" They both shared some look which was weird according to me. Dad sighed and started "Swayam, as we both know a kid always needs a mother during their growing years howmuchever we dads try" he took a long pause. "Dad where is this going and what are you exactly trying to imply here??" I asked nervously knowing where was this conversation leading.
He blew a breath and continued, "Swayam beta me and your mom want you to get married". "What??" I practically spat "Dad, I don't want a step mom for Rohan plus I am already married.
He took a step towards me placing his palm on my cheeks before continuing, "Beta you married her for Rohan not out of love and your a widow to be precise. Beta please think about this, think about Rohan before coming to any decision"
I stood there thinking about the pros and cons and God know after how long I finally agreed but along with three conditions. one, wedding takes place in a week. Two, I will not meet her before the wedding but Rohan will and lastly, three, Rohan has to agree and accept her as his mom.
On that he blew his breath which I din't know was holding and mimbled something like 'Thank God both of them have same conditions.
With that done, we sat for lunch together and dad was telling me about the girl that her dad was my dad's childhood friend and that something bad had happened to her because of which she has lost her will to live and mostly about her past.
I don't know why but I felt some weird connection with this girl's story like I had to help her live and so with that I vowed that Rohan accepts her I will make it my life's goal to bring her back to life and make her believe in love.
I know I haven't even met her yet so why do I even care but whatever it I know I don't love her not yet but I know I will grow to love her and will also make her love me.
'May be this is my second chance love', Hope so.
Note: Rey did not tell Swayam about Sharon because he was already emotional and if he came to know the truth he would have only been more guilty then ever. and in thiss FF Rey is a doctor. He is a commerce drop out medical student and Kria is a lawyer.
