After finishing dinner, Piya retired to her room. Tara didn't come home from office yet. She decided to stay up. She needed to talk to Tara about what to do with the whole Samarth situation now that he was on the missing persons list. She chided herself for getting so worked up. Investigations would be a dead end and the case will be dropped. The only problem was Varun who seemed hell bent on finding Samarth. She wondered if she should tell Varun the truth but she dropped the thought as soon as it came. Varun would never believe her and he might think wrongly of Piya. She couldn't jeopardize Tara and Abhay's life by revealing the supernatural world to a human. She sincerely hoped Varun would give up on trying finding Samarth before any problems crop up. Just then, her cell beeped showing 1 new message. It was from Tara,' Piya, its late. Don't stay up for me. I'll take some more time in office. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and looked at the wall clock. It was 11:30. She made her way to her bedroom and switched off the lights. She stopped short when she sensed a super natural's presence. She turned the lights back on and walked around the room. She felt someone grip her waist. She panicked and used her disarming spell to throw the person against the opposite wall.
'Ow'.Piya, its me'. Abhay groaned in pain. Piya ran to him. 'Abhay are you okay? I am so sorry. I thought you were someone else. What are you doing here anyway?'
'I came to surprise you. After your response, I don't think I'll ever do that again'.
Piya burst out laughing, all concern gone. Abhay was startled. He frowned. 'You know, good girlfriends are supposed to be concerned when their boyfriends get hurt'. Piya looked at Abhay's offended face and laughed even more. Abhay got up angrily and moved towards the door.
Piya ran to him and held his hand. 'Wait! I am sorry. Don't go!'. Abhay still looked angry. Piya stood on her tiptoes and kissed his lips softly. 'I love your surprise!'.
Abhay pulled her into his arms and nuzzled his cheek against her hair. 'I am glad. And by the way, cute shorts!'. Piya realized she was wearing her white shorts that didn't even reach halfway down to her knee. She shrieked and ran to the bed and got under the covers.
Abhay was amused. 'Piya, the girls in our college walk around wearing dresses shorter than that and you are shy even though only I am here'.
Piya retorted back,'I am not like the other bimbos in college Abhay'.
He smiled and came closer. 'I am glad you feel that way. I wouldn't want those wretched college boys eyeing you. You belong to me only'.
Piya looked down, her cheeks going red. Abhay came and sat on the bed beside her. Piya snuggled into his arms as Abhay leaned back against the pillows. Piya looked at Abhay hesitantly. 'Abhay, shouldn't we be trying to figure out how to open the cave?'
'Piya, we just got over our misunderstandings and now I finally have you with me. I don't want to rush back into our problems just yet. All I want right now is to be with you. Everything else can wait'.
'But Abhay..' He put his hand on her mouth. 'Piya, please! Try to understand, I am not saying we wont go after the Gangrel. Just not now. Because once that cave opens, it will be an open war and everyday I'll live in fear of losing you. I don't want that Piya'. He cupped her face in his hands. 'Please tell me you understand'. Piya nodded her head. Abhay sighed with relief and kissed her forehead. Piya leaned her head on his chest and smiled happily. After a while, Piya drifted off to sleep. Abhay was awake and still tensed about their earlier conversation. He felt bad for lying to Piya but this way the only way he could keep her safe. He alone would figure out how to open the cave and then fight the Gangrel by himself. He promised himself never to allow Piya to have any part in all this even if the fight claimed his life. He loved her too much to let her get hurt.

The night passed with abhay still being awake and piya in his arms. First ray of light fell on piya's face. she sighed and snuggled closer to abhay. she felt unsaid warmth, unsaid comfort in his arms. Abhay smiled," wake up sleepy head"
"mmhhh..hhhmmm" piya mumbled in her sleep. abhay chuckled. She looked cute! "piya! piya! wake up. We are getting late. We have to go to college too" piya nodded still cuddling to him. abhay smiled and kissed her hair. Life seemed so perfect right now with piya in his arms. How he wished life was so easy for them! Abhay shook piya again but she didn't budge. "piya last warning! Either get up or I will pick you up and put you under the shower", he warned
"do what you want. I don't care. Just lemme sleep", piya said
Abhay smiled," fine! you asked for it" without any warning abhay scooped piya in his arms and started walking towards the bathroom. Piya was wide awake now. she hit his chest and protested," put me down now!"
"so that you can again go to sleep"
"I promise I wont. Just put me down", piya requested.
Abhay was already inside the bathroom. Piya could see mischief in his eyes. "I promise I will be out in 5. Just put me down"
Abhay put piya on his feet. She sighed. "now go", piya said
"no"
"huh? Abhay I want to get ready. Out now! even you have to get ready"
"how about we do this together?" abhay asked playfully
"WHAT?" piya shrieked
"shhh! Stop shouting. Tara is at home" abhay covered her mouth with his palm. Piya widened her eyes. Shit! That means tara must have sensed abhay here already. Abhay smiled," no she doesn't know that I am here. what? I know you well. I don't have to read your thoughts to answer you"
"how?"
"I don't know. May be she was busy with her own!" he winked. Piya's mouth dropped open," you..you mean vihaan..vihaan is here?"
"how didn't I realise?", she mumbled
"because you were busy with your own", abhay smirked. Piya blushed and hit him playfully," ok out now. I will be out in 5"
"I will give you 10. Just don't go back to sleep", abhay smiled.

Abhay was waiting for piya when he heard vihaan and tara arguing. he didn't want to eavesdrop but couldn't help himself. He walked towards the source of voices.
"I don't care vihaan. I want piya out of this mess completely" tara yelled. Vihaan tried to touch her shoulder but she shrugged it off," tara! Atleast listen to what I am saying."
"I know what you are suggesting and I am in no way going to put piya in danger and abhay you stop eavesdropping and get in immediately" tara yelled yet again. abhay was taken aback.
"what are you doing here abhay?" vihaan asked
"I can say the same thing BHAI!" abhay smirked
"so you and piya are finally you know'." Vihaan smiled
"do you mind if I ask the same thing you know'" abhay smirked imitating his tone
Tara looked at both of them in disbelief," shut up! I am not in mood to witness your bromance. Firstly, abhay what were you doing in my sister's room whole night?" abhay was about to open his mouth when tara dismissed him," oh puh-leez'don't even bother to answer that. I don't want to know"
"I wasn't even planning to give you any details" abhay smirked
"how I wish to wipe that smirk off from both you raichand brothers", tara was irritated
Abhay sighed," alright! Whats the matter? What are you talking about? Infact I should ask why the hell are you both fighting?"
"ask your brother. He is hell bent on sending piya to that cave to open it" tara said
Abhay glared at vihaan. "what? Don't give me that look. You very well know that gangrels are behind that stone and its only you and piya who can open it up and once you claim that stones, it would give you both immense power to finish them. All you have to do is get the stones and reach the t'" vihaan froze. He was about to reveal the other part of the prophecy.
"reach what?" abhay was suspicious.
"the gangrels" tara finished quickly.
Abhay looked at both of them. He knew they were hiding something but for now he let it go,"no way in hell is piya going there"

"shut up vihaan. I am not putting piya in danger. Tara is right. I will open the cave myself. I will figure out something myself to open that cave alone and infact I am planning to go there today" abhay said
"do whatever you guys want to do. don't listen to me." vihaan was frustrated.
Oblivious to all three, piya had heard the entire conversation and she would no way leave abhay alone in the mess. she would also accompany abhay there even if she has to hide this from abhay himself, then be it. but gangrels had to die!

Abhay and piya reached college together. they weren't going to hide anymore. They were together and they would acknowledge this publically no matter who comes to know. They were walking hand in hand. Abhay was smiling and piya was giggling. The MMS murmers weren't dead yet, when a new gossip started. No one could believe what they saw. Abhay and piya were together.
Abhay and piya were aware of the stares they were getting but they ignored them all. Jeh saw them together and smiled. He whistled," my my! My two most favourite people in the world are together."
Abhay and piya halted. Piya smiled," really? we are your favourite?"
Abhay smirked," we are obliged to hear that"
Jeh shrugged," so what next?"
"what do you mean?" abhay asked
Jeh smirked," you exactly know what I mean! Are we going to witness any interesting fight soon?"
"stay out of it", piya snapped
"as if I care" jeh smiled and walked off.
Abhay and piya saw his retreating back. Abhay observed him carefully, "I smell trouble"

Piya sighed," listen misha, I appreciate that you care for me but I wont tolerate even an ounce if you badmouth about abhay. whatever happened was between us and I don't feel I need to justify his actions to you. and for varun, he is just my friend. I never told him to like me and even if he does, he has to live with the fact that I love abhay."
"piya! I didn't mean'"
"I very well know what you mean misha."
Piya walked off. She was in bad mood. Firstly, abhay was planning to go on the mission without her. then jeh! And now misha. She walked straight into the locker room to keep her things when she felt to pair of strong arms around her waist. Piya immediately knew who it was. she sighed and melted in his arms.
"someone is in bad mood" abhay chuckled
"yes, I was, but not now" piya smiled
Abhay hugged her even tighter kissed her cheeks," what happened"
"why cant everyone just leave us alone?" piya sighed
"she cares about you" he smiled
"I know but I cant tolerate anyone badmouthing you"
"its ok piya. I don't care" abhay shrugged

Abhay turned piya so that she could face him," are you fine?"
"yes I am. Its just that sometimes I feel that the whole world is plotting against us. I just want peace in my life"
"our life" abhay corrected her. piya smiled and hugged him, I love you abhay"

Alina was pacing around in her room. Things were changing at a fast pace. Dangers were approaching. She knew what she had to. She picked up her phone and punched few keys," alina here! its time we meet again!"

Abhay had dropped piya at home. He was now heading towards the cave. he had to figure out how to open it. piya on the other hand was following abhay. she had put a spell on herself to block recognition.
Abhay stood outside the cave. he walked towards it and tried to walk inside but no sooner did he tried, he was pushed back. He tried again and again but couldn't walk in. there was some invisible shield blocking his way.
"why cant I open it"
Abhay again walked towards it and this time to his surprise, he was standing inside the cave. he couldn't believe what had just happened. "I did it!" abhay yelled
"NO! WE did it!"
Abhay froze. Shit! No way! This cant happen. He sighed "what the hell are you doing here?"
