Swayam visited Sharon's office. He asked where Sharon was. "Sorry sir, but she's on leave today." The receptionist said. "Oh. Thanks." Swayam said, a little upset. "Do you want me to give her your message?" the receptionist asked. "No thankyou. I'll just come some other time. Don't tell her I came." Swayam said, and left the office. He had wanted to meet Sharon. He was so desperate to meet her since it had been 2 years since he had seen her. Why should my life be like this?

Sharon was sitting on the window sill and was just going through recent photos on Facebook. She had taken a day off. Swayam was still there in her friend list but she didn't visit his profile often. All the photos which they took in school were there in his profile and if she saw them again, then she would start crying all over again and she didn't want that. She was thinking about all this when someone rang the doorbell. Sharon went and opened the door and a smile spread on her face. "REY!!KRIA!!" Sharon said, and they group hugged. She was so excited because Rey was visiting her after a long time. He never had the time due to work and all. "Guess what we brought?" Kria said. "I don't know. You tell." Sharon said. "Chocolate fudge cake with chocolate curls on top. YUM!!!" Kria said. "You're kidding me!" Sharon said, and snatched the cover Kria was holding. "OMG!! Did you actually get this for me?" Sharon asked. It had been ages since she'd eaten this. "Actually, we bought it for the three of us but it's okay, we can have it whenever we want. You can have the whole thing!" Rey said. Sharon looked at Rey. "Rey, you're telling me this? YOU?" Sharon asked. She couldn't believe that Rey asked her to take the whole cake. Whenever they were young, they always fought for certain things. Like chocolate fudge cake. It might seem silly but neither of them had wanted to share the cake. They always wanted it for themselves. "Hey, Sharu! We were kids then. We used to fight all the time!" Rey said. "Yea, that doesn't mean we can't be kids now! I don't know you. Bring me my Rey back!" Sharon said, and pouted. Kria couldn't help but smile. Sharon didn't wait for an answer and opened the box, cut one piece and was going to eat it when Rey ran to her and snatched the cake piece from her hand. "REY!!! There's a huge cake in front of me and you want only the piece which I took?" Sharon screamed. "Well, you wanted the old Rey back! So c'mon catch me!" Rey said. "I will not leave you till I get that!" Sharon said. "Yea, better get it before I eat." Rey said, and started running. Rey and Sharon ran around like kids and Kria who was so used to this, sat on the couch and started reading a magazine.

Sharon was having fun after such a long time but suddenly she stopped running. Why does everything have to remind me of him? Why? Why? Why? The running around for the cake took place even before the field trip.How can she ever forget that trip? She should stop thinking about the past. But she couldn't. She had had some of the best moments in the field trip.

Kria and Swayam had come to Sharey's house at 9 a.m. even though they had to board the bus only in the evening. They watched a movie and then talked and everything. Sharon's dad was going to drive them to school. Sharon's mom had finally let Sharon go after Rey and Sharey's dad asked her to. Kria and Swayam were sitting while Rey and Sharon were running around for a piece of cake. "Sharon! Just take another piece!" Kria shouted, but she wasn't ready to listen. "NO KRIA!!! I took that piece first and it's mine.Tell Rey to take another piece!" Sharon said, while running behind Rey! Kria and Swayam looked at each other. "Siblings!" they said at the same time, and shook their heads. There was still some time left to go to school. Sharon jumped on Rey's back and grabbed the piece of cake from him. Now Rey started running behind Sharon. "Sharuu!! I will not let you go!" Rey said. Kria and Swayam felt that Sharon and Rey were having a lot of fun and so they too joined in the silly game. Sharon managed the eat the piece of cake and stuck her tongue out at Rey. Rey took another piece kept on a plate on the table and smeared it on Sharon's face. "Hawww!!!!! REY!! IDIOT!!!" Sharon said, and smeared cake on Rey's face. This continued for a long time. They ate the cake which was remaining. They were feeding each other-Rey and Kria. Swayam took a piece of cake and was going to feed Sharon while at the same time, Sharon was going to do the same thing.What's happening to me?? Sharon, he doesn't like you. Don't do stupid things. Sharon and Swayam looked at each other for a few seconds and then Sharon got up. "Um…guys! I better go change." Sharon said, and took one last look at Swayam and then went to her room. When she returned, the other three were waiting in the car. "Sorry I'm late dad!" Sharon said. "No problem honey! You can sit next to me if you want." Her dad said. Sharon looked at the back seat. Rey usually sat in front next to Dad, but since Kria was there, he sat with Kria. There was a lot of place left behind but it was next to Swayam. If she sat next to him, then she wouldn't be able to control herself from looking at him."I'll sit with you dad." Sharon said, and sat next to him. They waved to Sharon and Rey's mom and left. Sharon looked at the vanity mirror to find Swayam looking at her. Immediately she looked outside.Finally they reached school. They got down, took their bags. "Bye Dad!" Sharon and Rey said. Sharon hugged her dad. "Bye kids! Take care of yourself and enjoy!" Sharey's dad said. "We will." The four of them said.

They got into the bus after checking whether everyone had come and all that. Rey and Kria sat together. Swayam was sitting in front of them and the seat next to him was empty. Swayam looked at Sharon. His eyes said please-sit-with-me. But she wouldn't. She sat diagonally but behind him. The bus started and everyone oohed in excitement. After sometime few people got up and started dancing, Rey and Kria too. Swayam turned back and looked at Sharon. She was looking at him too. When their eyes met, she looked away. Kria forced Sharon to get up and dance and Rey did the same thing with Swayam. All of them were having so much. The bus driver applied a sudden brake. Many people were holding on to something or the other but few people weren't. Out of the few, two were Sharon and Swayam. When the brake was applied, Swayam fell to the floor of the bus and Sharon fell on him. "OHH!! Sorry! Sorry! Very sorry!" Sharon said, and tried to get up but Swayam pulled her back and wrapped his arms around her. "Swayam? What are you doing? Let me get up. People are watching." Sharon said. "I don't care." Swayam said. "WHAT?" Sharon asked, confused. What did Swayam mean? Swayam looked at Sharon lovingly. He placed the strand of her falling on her face,preventing him from looking into her eyes, behind her ear and smiled at her. That smile, which had a million girls falling for him. Sharon looked away from him.Omg! His eyes. Gosh! I should learn to control myself. No one had even noticed that they had fallen on the ground. Suddenly Kria yelled. "OMG! Sharon are you alright?" Hearing this, Swayam let go of her immediately. Sharon got up and Swayam did too. "Yea, I'm all fine. Thanks." Sharon said. "Are you sure??" Kria asked, giving Sharon a what-are-you-hiding look? "Yea I'm totally fine." Sharon said. Kria shrugged and went back to dancing. Sharon went back to her seat. Swayam was still staring at her but she wouldn't look up. After 4 long hours, they reached the place. All of them got down and went to the rooms assigned for them. Kria and Sharon were roommates over here too. They were very happy. It was a beautiful resort. They had never been to such a beautiful place before. They took a small nap and then they met near the pool to talk.

In the night, there was a bonfire. People were just talking and doing nothing else. Sharon was sitting near the bonfire. I've never seen a bonfire like this before. It's so boring. Why are they talking stuff about school when we are supposed to be having fun? Someone came and sat next to her. She turned to see who it was. It was Swayam. She tried to get up, but he made her sit down again. "What is your problem?" Swayam asked. "I don't have to answer. I shouldn't have come for this trip. It's so boring." Sharon said. "Oh…Shall I make it interesting?" Swayam asked. "Just leave me alone, thankyou." Sharon said. Swayam got up and got everyone's attention by clapping. "Hey hey! Guys!! What is this? Let's have some fun! How about everyone dancing in pairs and you have to change your steps according to the music." Swayam said. Everyone started murmuring about this. They agreed. Some random guy from school played a song. Kria and Rey were already dancing and having fun. Swayam held out his hand so that he could dance with Sharon. Before Sharon placed her hand on his, someone pulled Swayam. "Hey Swayam. Come dance with me!" she said. Swayam looked at Sharon. She was just looking at the ground. "Um..Later Jessica." Swayam said. "No dance with me now! Look everyone's having fun. And it was your idea! Come on!" Jessica said, and pulled Swayam away. They started dancing. Sharon looked at them in disbelief. After sometime, a very romantic song started playing. Sharon saw Jessica place her head on Swayam's shoulder. Sharon's eyes widened. After a few seconds, she couldn't stand there and she ran away back to her room. Swayam saw her running. After a while, the bonfire ended and everyone went back to their respective rooms.

In the night, Sharon went out and stood on the green grass. She just looked at the moon and was lost in her own thoughts when someone touched her shoulder. She was shocked and turned around immediately. When she saw who the person was, she just sighed. "What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" Swayam asked. "I should be asking you the same question." Sharon said. "Seriously Sharon. Are you mad at me?" Swayam asked. "What makes you say that?" Sharon asked. "Because I danced with Jessica and not you." Swayam said. "Look, you can dance with whoever you want or be with whoever you want. I don't care alright?" Sharon said. She was very bad at lying. "You don't care. Really Sharu?" Swayam asked. "Um… I have to go." Sharon said. She was freezing. Swayam removed his jacket and wrapped it around her. "Thanks." Sharon said. "Your welcome. But you still didn't answer my question. You really don't care about how I feel?" Swayam asked. "Swayam, I know I told you I liked you and all but please don't take it to your heart. I was just a crazy girl. I'll be over the silly crush soon. And you don't have to think about how I feel by the way. You can dance with Jessica or whichever cheerleader you want. You're a star of the school. And I'm just an ordinary girl. Good night Swayam." Sharon said, removed the jacket, gave it back to Swayam, leaving Swayam amused. "Wow, she talks a lot." Swayam thought.

The next three days passed by with them visiting many beautiful places and monuments etc. The night when they had to go back to their homes arrived. They were all very upset because they had had such an amazing time. This was a trip they'll remember forever. Kria and everyone were sitting in the bus. Swayam and Sharon had not come yet. It was 8 in the night. Sharon had gone to get some juice. Kria and Rey had already gotten theirs and so they boarded the bus. The bus was not parked near the resort. It was kinda far away. They had to walk for about 10 minutes to get into the bus.

Swayam came and stood behind Sharon. Only the two of them were standing there. "Hey, didn't you go yet?" Sharon asked. "Na, waiting for you." Swayam said, flashing a smile. "You didn't have to." Sharon said. " I wanted to. Anyways Rey and Kria already boarded the bus. I didn't want you to go alone." Swayam said. "Very sweet. Let's go." Sharon said, sarcastically. Swayam just shrugged. They walked to the place where the bus was parked but to their utter dismay, there was no bus standing there. The two buses were gone. Sharon started freaking out. "OmG!!! Omg!!! How can this happen?? How will we go home now?? Omg! Omg!!!!" Sharon screamed. "Chill. Let me just call Rey and ask him." Swayam said. "I'll call Kria." Sharon said. Both of them took out their phones, but there was no signal. Sharon was going to throw her phone down but Swayam stopped her. Sharon started crying. "I wanna go home!!!" Sharon said. "Sharru!! We will go home! Okay, stop crying!" Swayam said, consoling her, wiping her tears. Swayam held her hand and They walked and walked for some time. They finally found a payphone. "Look, a payphone." Swayam said, and ran towards it. Swayam dialed Rey's number. The ring kept going but he didn't answer. Next he tried Kria's but she didn't answer either. Suddenly the street light went off. It was a lonely street. Only 2-3 people were walking. Sharon was terrified. She went and leaned on the wall, her back facing Swayam. "I really don't know how we're going to go home now." Sharon cried. Swayam went to her. He turned her around and placed his hands on her shoulder. She moved back but she couldn't move any further because she was already touching the wall. She felt Swayam's intense gaze on her and she felt shivers down her spine. She looked up at him and their eyes met. "Sharon.." Swayam said, lovingly. He was surprised because he had never used this tone to any other girl before. Sharon nodded as if she was asking 'what?' "Are you afraid of being with me? Is that why you're crying?" Swayam asked. The only light was the one above the payphone. It was a little bright. But not very. "Swayam, don't say that. I can never be afraid of being with you. I'm afraid of losing you. To another girl." Sharon said, telling the truth. She didn't know what made her say that but the way Swayam looked at her. It was soo…as if he loved her or something. "I'm afraid of losing you too." Swayam said. "What?Really?" Sharon asked, surprised. Sharon nodded. He came closer to her but Sharon could do nothing. She couldn't move anywhere. He moved the irritating strand of hair falling on her face and placed it behind her ear. He bent down a little. Moved closer to Sharon's face and kissed her gently at first. She was shocked at first, but then she responded, kissing him back to show how much she loved him. She wrapped her hands around his neck and he pulled her by the waist and kissed her more passionately as if she held his world.
