Sorry, I am not here to make fun of this lady. According to me none of the characters in PV are dark. They all are grey. In the beginning Aarti had a view, kids need freedom to grow. Scindia family (specially Yash's mother) believed they need to be desciplined most. Both were right, as children need a balance of both. Coming to Bua, she has not recieved any kind of love and attention in all her life, she is taking that frustration out on Aarti. It may not be rational, but natural. How many men take their anger of their work place at home? How many mothers pass their frustration over their husbands on to their kids? This nature (displaced anger in psychology) though not logical, is present in all of us.
In Sindhya's house, everyone tolerates her, but nobody has consideration for her. It makes a difference to such people (little love can do wonders).
She shows no consideration for Aarti. But from her POV, why should she care when she never recieved love from anybody. I am just getting the lines of Dum Maro Dum ... Duniyane humko diya kya... duniya se humne liya kya... hum subke parava kare kyoon.. subne hamara kiya kya ... But imagining "meri bhagvan ki kasam" buaji singing Dum Maro Dum seemed funny.
