It was the second day of amar's arrival at new York and they had gone to visit shakti's academy.
Kunwar: where's Piyali?
Shakti: tumhaari heart attack waali entry se just pehle she moved out. She's gone back to Australia leaving me alone.
Amar came forward, blocking her path. He slid his hand behind her waist and pulled herself to him, like he once did before:
She was shocked and didn't know what to do or say. He was leaving her breathless or his closeness was. His face close to hers, his hot breath on her pretty face causing all the blood to drain out. She gulped hard.
Amar: (whisper) as long as I am with you, no one can dare leave you alone.
She continued to stare at him in the same position not bothering to move, it was too close to get out. He smirked and she quickly closed her mouth which was gaping. He let her go and went ahead the corridor leaving her confused. She took in a deep breath and followed him.
The came outside a big, heavy metallic gate. It looked quite traditional and was huge.
Amar: what's in there?
Shakti: it's restricted so we don't know. No one goes in there.
Amar turned to Shakti and raised his eyebrow at her with an evil questiong smile.
Amar: restricted, and my shaku baby doesn't go in there? Impossible, sweetheart! I'm not a person you can fool!
She giggled and shook her head in disbelief.
Shakti: mujhe abhi tak kisi ne nahi pakda! How come you always do it?
Amar smiled.
Amar: you can't forget sweetheart, we form arsha, the ones who are made for each other.
He winked and made it sound casual but didn't miss the sweet blush which had crept on her face which she was trying hard to hide.
Amar: challe?
Shakti: kahan?
Amar winked and slightly pushed the door. Shakti's mouth hung open and she jerked her head left to right making sure no one is there to witness their crime.
He pulled her in and closed the door. He didn't move to give her space to come so she dashed in him and he quickly got a hold on her. Her stomach was buried in his….her hands on his chest and his behind her back holding her. (the position was somewhat like in the show:

She stared at the deep chocolate brown eyes and got lost in her Kunwar world. She tried to push hm back but his hold around her tightened and he pushed her more into him. Their little distance between them was getting slowly covered and their breaths were mixing. The intensity between them was getting wilder and wilder but she couldn't fall in the trance or this would lead to mistake they should not commit. She pushed him back and got a distance between the two, a little distance.
But amar hadn't been satisfied yet!
He wrapped his hand around her midrib and grabbed her to him…. her eyes widened…. he lowered his head, grazing his lips on her forehead….. her eyes fluttered close….. he sighed and shifted lower, planting kisses along her cheek and jaw….. she gasped when his lips found the most sensitive spot on the side of her neck….. he knew her every weakness…….she trembled….. she enclosed her arms around his neck and arched herself into him….. she threaded her fingers through his hair….. he moved up, softly kissing her jaw line….. when his lips creased the side of her lips, they both groaned…..
he so wanted to kiss those luciouse lips which were tempting him to the core but resisted himself cause for that he needed her to be ready as well which he knew she was not. He slowly moved back and kissed her forehead giving her the hint that there they had to stop. She slowly opened her eyes, his hands still around her to steady her cause she was still in the trance and not ready to stand without support. Her inside confusion was visible in her eyes cause this time she hadn't been the one to pull back.
She lowered her hands from his chest and got a distance between the two, and this time he moved a few spaces back too or the electricity forming inside him would give some attacks which would lead to god only knows what.
There was an awkward moment of dead silence which was broken by amar who considered it to be too dangerous to last.
Amar: so, what is this place actually?
He finally had a look around. It was dark and scary in there. Lit by lamps hung on the walls like old, traditional type of fire but it didn't glow much. There was a long corridor, red carpeted. Huge, ancient chandlers hung but were dim lighten and hardly contributed any light to the surrounding but was ideal to give a look of haunted , old royal palace kinda thing. There was a huge portrait of a tiara princess on the wall.
Shakti: this is where my Hollywood story gets a desi tadka! (wink)
Amar narrowed his eyes.
Amar: miss Shakti, you are well aware that I am very bad at solving riddles so put some efforts and care to explain.
She laughed.
Shakti: you know, in our bollywood horror films, there is a ghost lover who is ditched by his love and then haunts him?the prince-princess kinda things with extra misunderstandings and nautankis?
This is an American version of it! On our camping day, we sat around the bonfire and our super senior, Andrew mclaggen told us this ancient legendary story!
Amar puled Shakti on the floor and layed in his story listening position with his head in shakti's lap. She stroked his hair and giggled at his state but went ahead with the story session.
Shakti: you see this princess? Her name was princess Sophia. This academy used to be a palace; the most amazing palace ever built! The king was a strict, rude and mindless ruler.
The story begins like this-
(sorry I am keeping it very short not in the mood to write anything other than about the two.)
Princess Sophia is in love. She secretly loves prince casper who belongs to the other kingdom. Prince casper loves his princess too and they arein that young, deep love, hiding from their fathers. Their fathers hate each other to the core and are after each other's life. They meet very often and their love grows with time. One day, Sophia is followed by the king's courtiers of whom she is not aware of and they both are caught. The fathers are very violant now and preparations for wars and battles starts and Sophia is locked in the castle. To save everyones life casper tells his father that he was just using Sophia for benefits in their father's rivalry and making the opposites weak.the king is very happy and proud os his son. He goes to the other kingdom and flaunts/boasts about his son's cleverness and says that they have already lost cause all this was just a betrayal from casper to Sophia. Sophia hears and is deeply heartbroken. She thinks her lif has shattered and because of casper. Casper tries to convince Sophia and beg her to listen to the truth once but she sayssheis not that ruthless and wont come in his trap ever again as she clearly knows what his intentions. He still remains after her his full life but she marrys some other prince and lives a short, suffocated life. It is said that the two met for the first time in this very place and in the end, Sophia comes to meet casper after a year of her marriage. She takes his hand and make him hold a swoed, She places her hands on top of his and grips it. She guids their hands on the sword to stab herself and lets go of the sword in the end causing casper's hands on the sword at the time of the kill. With this she dies and stays like a ghost here who kills all who share a love relationship. Last year, 2 couples sneaked in for a sex night and the next morning they were found dead with "never love" craved on their skin.
Amar: tab toh bhaago shaks!! Hum mar jaayenge!
Shakti: shut up amar! You are not rishab jo hum dono ko who Sophia maar dalegi!
Amar: (smirk) rishab,huh!? Kaun hain ye champu?
Shakti pretended a silly pout which though being an actor couldn't manage to carry well. She was SUPPOSED to be good in acting but the feelings she showed as kriya towards rey/amar was not acting but reality of her heart!
Shakti: woh koi champu nahi hain! He's my one and only!!!
Amar rolled his eyes and dugged his face in her stomach. She slapped his back as she was getting hot flushes with his every breath on her body.
Shakti: Kunwar, utthon!! Aur challo!! Its almost time to close the academy…….
they got up and she peeked out of the door. amar wasn't looking while walking and he bounced in her on the way. She was tip toed so was gone of balance, she was about to faal but balanced herself and quickly turned around to face the moron . She turned to the left and suddenly bumped into a large muscular body.
Amar: woah,easy babe! Mujhe paas bulaane ke liye, raasta toh mat rokko! I can come on my own whenever my princess wants! (chuckle)
She gazed at those dark chocolate brown and got slightly lost…..he smiled and realization hit her. She opened her mouth to answer but wasn't able to….. they was standing real close….. he wrapped his hands around her….. their faces inches apart…. She gulped…. She tried to move back but he shoved her back to him….. his fingers grazed the counter of lower back….. she shuddered…. Their eyes in an intense eyelock.
Shakti: (hoarsely) Kunwar, we need to go…….
Amar: shhh……
He leaned forward covering the gap between them….. her eyes slid shut….. he brushed his lips on her temple….. and very slowly stirred it lower to her brow….. he nuzzled closer and dipped his head lower to plant a kiss below her ear lobe….. She moaned and rolled back, silently offering him the vulnerable flesh of her throat….. her hands resting on his chest…. She gripped his tshirt front to steady herself….. he continued to nibble on her neck….. she let out a silent whimper…….he dipped deeper and nibbled more passionately…..her desire guided her hands lower until they reach the bottom of his t-shirt……….. she slipped her hands in and skimmed her fingers on his flat stomach to the muscular chest…….. he took in sharp breath and dipped his head further down, the button of her shirt opened automatically as he went gently kissing the path till her collar... his arm wiggling her narrow waist, yanking her close…..she gasped and he decided to slow down as she still was unsure of her feelings or they were not yet fully together……. He slowed down his every movement and gradually stopped kissing…….he was a bit surprised to hear her sigh as she removed her hands from him and slowly ended what she was carried into…….they got a bere distance between them, both looking down.
Amar: challe…?
She silently nodded and they went out of the academy.
Her phone rang and she got excited to see the name on her screen…..he frowned….she picked up the call.
Shakti: sweetheart, I am so angry with you! You said we are gonna meet today again but you got busy with your office meetings! Where are you,rish?
Oh! Toh champu aur princess ki acting challu!
Shakti: alright! So, lets meet at dinner!? I am at forex square so I am waiting with my friend in zalete, come fast and bring priya with you. She can give company to him……love you too, bye!
He started laughing.
Shakti: (confused) what?!
Amar acted: sweetheart!... where are you RISH?????...bring priya with you she will give company to him…..love you too!...BYE!!!
Shakti fumed with anger and he laughed and ran, she ran after him and they got a cute, naughty chasing session till they reached zalete, an Italian resteraunt.
They took their seats and soon their was arrival of two and a half beautiful people:
This is priya and….
This is rishab.
Amar smiled widely and shook hands with the two. Shakti was annoyed as her plans were not working and there was not even a pinsh of jealousy on his face but a stupid smirk. She rolled her eyes and grabbed rishab in a hug. She peeked at amar to see his reaction but was confused. He was standing casually there with his hands in his pockets and the killer smile on his breathtaking face. Shakti broke the hug and gave a quick hug to priya.
Shakti: aww, how's my sweetheart?
She bent down and kissed the little cutie pie in priya's hands. She looked so cute and mesmerizing, he got lost in this sweet tempting sight in front of them and his Shakti world that rishab had to nudge him to get him out of his trance. He chuckled at amar and amar just blushed and looked down.
Shakti: So lets sit! Rishab and me at one side and Kunwar and priya at the other. Priya, can you plese give keshav in my arms? He is sho shweet, I can't resist!!
She bounced up and down and excitedly took the baby in her hands. Playing with it as a toy, they all sat down at the table and throughout the dinner Shakti tried to be as close to rishab as possible but was getting more and more annoyed as amar wasn't reacting at all!
What is with this man?!?!?! Maine use ekk shaadi-shuda aur do bacho ki maa ke saath dekhke bhi jealous ho rahi hoon aur yeh!! Urghh!!!
Dinner got over and they all started going home. Shakti was going towards Kunwar as he would be dropping her home but amar had other plans….
Amar: shaks, why don't you and rishab spend some time together? Waise bhi tumhe uske saath akele time spend karne ka time hi nahi milla aur mujhe priya ki company par chhod do! She is AWSUM!!!
He winked and pretended to be in deep conversation with priya and placed his hand on her back. Shakti got frustrated and to show amar she went to rishab and gave him a peck on the cheek and did some sugary love talks with him, loud enough for the other 2 to hear. No reaction again. Even rishab gave her the 3rd kiss(on cheek)!!! Now it was heel over her temper!!
She walked to amar and was too angry to remember that the acting was her plan and amar was just having a small talk time with priya cause he wanted Shakti and rishab to have time alone. She grabbed his hand, turned him to face her and started shouting….
Shakti: KUNWAR, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOURSELF,HUH??? KISI BHI LADKE KE SAATH MUJHE DEKHKAR JEALOUS HOGE NAHI PAR EKK MARRIED AUR BACCHO KI MAA KE SAATH FLRT KAROGE!!! HOW CAN YOU??? YOU BELOG TO ME, AND NO ONE ELSE….DO YOU UNDERSTAAND THAT?!?!?!
She gave him a tight possessive hug which he just laughed and fully returned. She got confused by his laughter and pulled back. He was shaking his head and grinning at her. Even rishab and priya were laughing. This got down to her nerve's limit.
Shakti: tell me right now, what the hell is going on!!!
Rishab was about to answer but amar butted in.
Amar: shaks, meet my di: priya and her husband rishab who happens to be my favorite jiju!! Cousin sis hain, real nahi but meri favorite hain!!
Shakti's mouth hung open!! She couldn't believe it!!
Rishab and priya went after laughing and bidding goodbyes and to leave the complicated coule alone. Amar wrapped his arms around Shakti.
Amar: I belong to you, and you to me!! Kitna bhi deny kar lo I know the truth, so tell me…..do you love me??
Shakti looked down and started blushing.
Shakti: umm……
Ring!!!ring!!!
She quickly moved back and picked up her phone and started talking to Piyali.
This wa enough for amar! Kitna rokke rakhi gi yeh ladki!!!!! His patience was at its breaking point and then finally broke. He pulled Shakti by her arm and asked for the last time!
Amar: no running away shaks!!! I want the answer right now!!
Her mouth was hanging open and she wa about to say "talk to you later" to Piyali but the moment she returned to the phone, amar got irritated. He snatched the phone from her hand and threw it away! (ab toh gaya!)
Shakti: KUNWAR!! How dare you!! YOU WANT THE ANSWER!? ITS NO!! FIRST THAT MESSAGE NOW THIS!! I HAVE FORGIVEN YOU AND FOR THIS, DON'T SHOW ME YOUR FACE!!
She walked away in a very bad mood cursing him. he just sat down on the road and heaved a heavy sigh.
Amar to himself: amar beta, tu toh gaya! Taiyaari karle, shaks ko mannana hain kisi ladki ko nahi: apni baatcutter ko!! Uff!!
He grinned at her thought and walked away to do the preparations……
