UPDATE COMING UP IN AN HOUR

Hi my lovelies! Sorry I took so long to update I did not want to spoil the mood as everyone was on a high since Friday. Anyways thank you for the likes and comments. Best comment goes to April2003:

Hellooo I have not commented in a very, very long time. I know I should be punished but don't be mad, I'm back. Had a lot of catching up to do though. I love how the story has evolved. Everything in marriage is not about kuch aur and I'm glad your story has made that quite clear. Along with the sunshine there has to be some rain sometimes but the basis of any relationship is trust. Khushi due to her fear does not trust her husband enough to tell him the truth about the threats that she's getting from this John guy. She has now transferred that trust to her enemy hoping that he will not harm her husband but she is only digging herself deeper in trouble. I just hope Arnav is sensible enough to figure things out but it will be quite difficult based on what has been happening between them lately and the evidence that has been presented to him.

It's obvious that they both love each other deeply and they will sacrifice anything for each other but this situation looks like it may break Arnav and we may see ASR return with a vengeance because he believe he's been betrayed by his wife whom he trust with all his heart. I am really looking forward to how he deals with the present situation. This time around, although he may want to deal with Khushi drastically Aryan is now in the picture. We know his brains stop working when he's angry so I hope he keep everything that is important in mind plus the fact that if Khushi really wanted to hurt him she could have done it long ago. Why wait until now when she's gotten her life back together, gotten over depression? She also know the damage and scandal this will cause if the media get to know. So why now? ASR really need to take things easy and approach the situation with caution.

Part 85

Khushi tip toed slowly into the house. Making sure she did not make any noise. Her heart was beating fast and her breathing was shallow, she had never been out for so long.

The beast got out of his bed and went down the first floor of his house.

"KHUSHI!" he barked from the top of the stairs. She looked up with a shocked expression. Her heart beat began racing and she gulped her saliva down. As he came down the stairs she sensed she was going to be in trouble- big trouble. She began fidgeting with her fingers and looking around. "Hey Devi Maiyaa raksha karna".

Taking her by the wrist he pulled her upstairs. His grip was firm. "Arnav...let go of me!" she squirmed in pain. Taking her to their poolside he let go of her.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE TIME IS? ANSWER ME DAMMIT! Khushi if you are in trouble just tell me..I'm your husband..I promise anything that is bothering you I will fix it..trust me!" he said through his gritted teeth.

"What do you mean...oh you mean I came late.. ummmhhh Arnav Piya was in a crisis and I..."

He cut her off abruptly. "ENOUGH STOP LYING KHUSHI".

Khushi trembled with fear, this was unlike Arnav to talk to her like that. "I am not lying...you see".

"YOU THINK I'M STUPID? I AM ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA AND I DON'T TAKE ANY CRAP FROM ANYONE INCLUDING YOU KHUSHI".

She stopped and looked at his eyes that were beginning to grow darker.

"I KNOW YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME..." He paused to not let her see that her unfaithfulness was getting to him.

"HOW COULD YOU KHUSHI?" He took her by the arms and shook her. "HOW DARE YOU..HOW DARE CHEAT ON ME!"

"No Arnav you got it all wrong.."

"Oh really?! Come".

He dragged her to his study area and put on the recorded call between her and John.

*"Hi Khushi..so what have you thought about my proposition then?"

"Well you do what I have told you and I will do whatever you say". She said confidently.

"Khushi...how can I believe that you're going to leave ASR for me?"

"I meet you every day whilst lying to my husband...I have practically separated from him in every sense...on top I sleep in the other room and you perfectly well know that so what else can I do to make you believe?"

"How about leave him NOW?!"*

Khushi looked on with I-have-been-caught expression. She swallowed her spit in fear.

"khushi you lied that you were going to the gym when you were..seeing this man...Are you going to deny it now?"

Khushi looked on and then began smiling. "So the great Arnav Singh Raizada has finally caught me out hmmm? That's what I wanted for you to find out.."

"Khushi?" he said quietly.

"Yes Arnav Singh Raizada it is payback time..let me see what this reminds me of..ah yeh! Do you remember how you had ditched me at your party...well this is a taste of your own medicine..."

Arnav looked on with a perplexed expression.

"Why you looking so shocked? You want to know why I married you? It was to take revenge for all the hurt you caused me...well now you know how it feels".

He looked at her not really believing what she was saying. "But Khushi I cannot believe that...you cannot have been taking revenge when we..."

"What had sex?" she said looking at him mockingly.

"If I remember you wanted me didn't you? And you used me and dumped me the next day...so I did the same...I used you not once but many times..over and over again...and you thought I was in love with you".

Arnav at first looked on hurt and then became angry. Grabbing her by the biceps he pinned her to the wall. "Khushi you are mine and only mine! I will kill that bas***d for coming anywhere near you..understood?!"

"Arnav accept it..me and you are over!"

"Khushi you didn't hear but I will repeat it...DON' T YOU DARE STEP A FOOT OUTSIDE THIS HOUSE...And as for that guy..I already know who he is...John isn't it? He will never be able to get hold of you...EVER!"

Saying that, he let go off Khushi and went off to his bedroom. Khushi looked on with a sad face. As she picked her mobile and dialled John's number it was switched off. She looked at her husband's direction and realised he indeed had taken care of him.

Dressed in his smart office wear, he walked down with his blazer over his arms. As he sat down Aryan came and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"Dad remember we are going to go and get some chicken and chips today?"

Arnav nodded. "Ya buddy..just you and me hmmm?"

He looked at Khushi who knew he was saying it to get to her. As he put margarine on his toast his phone began ringing. He switched his Bluetooth on.

"Yes Morning Aman...uh yeh I have appointed her my secretary... yes the last one left due to some family issues...make sure you make her feel welcome okay?"

He switched the Bluetooth off. "Yeh buddy we will take Maan with us too...he wanted to go out with us..he misses you". Aryan looked on happily. Arnav began eating his breakfast and looking at his watch. "Buddy gotta go..."

As he walked off Khushi stopped him. "Arnav can I talk to you?"

"Not now Khushi!" he rolled his eyes.

"Ummmhhh about last night.."

"Khushi I don't wanna talk about it...I heard...plus we got our son to think about...he doesn't need to hear anything like this..." he walked off and stopped taking a few steps back.

"Oh yeh Khushi its John isn't it? Well sorry to disappoint you but you won't hear or see him ever again...AND wherever you go my spies will be following you...this whole house is under surveillance...you know Khushi I know everything more than you can imagine how much I know what goes around me".

She looked on shocked and then embarrassed. His mocking eyes turned with a tinge of concern.

"Khushi do you want to tell me something?"

"No!" she said annoyingly.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"I SAID NO!" she said angrily.

"FINE!" he said ending the conversation. He walked off and she stomped off to the dining table.

Khushi tried John's number all day. She gave up knowing the great ASR must have taken care of him but she was still worried that his boss was still around. Her mobile rang.

"Khushi it's me Piya! I'm ringing from the office".

"Hi..how are you?"

"I'm fine Khushi...I just was going to warn you that ASR has got a new secretary and she is really hot".

"And?" she said not really bothered.

"And Khushi she is all over him..you know flirting and kissing him in front of everyone!"

"Piya let her kiss him..." she got up and put the magazine down.

"WHAT?! Some witch is kissing my husband?" she said feeling her blood was boiling.

"Yes Khushi..I thought I'd warn you...anyway better go ASR is looking from upstairs". She cut the call.

Entering in to the office she asked the security to let her through. As she went to the receptionist she banged her hand down.

"Where is my husband?"

The lady pointed her hand towards the cabin. "Mam he is with his secretary". She clutched her fists and stormed towards his cabin.

"Khushi you can't go up...sir told us to not disturb him". Khushi pushed Aman to the side and he went flying off. Running up the stairs she barged into his room and looked at the girl that was sitting facing her husband.

"Khushi?" he asked looking shocked. She charged towards the secretary's chair and turned it around.

"LAVANYA?" She looked at her shocked. Lavanya got up and gave her a sly smirk.

"Hey Khushi...nice to meet you once again".

She forwarded her hand and she slapped it refusing to shake it. "What the hell are you doing here?"

"Uh I am ASR secretary...you know personal one..anyway ASR you speak to your wife honey...I am off". She went and kissed his cheek and looked at Khushi in a victorious way.

Arnav got up and smiled at Lavanya while she left. Khushi went to Arnav and wiped his cheek.

"Arnav how could you let that witch anywhere near you?"

"Why what's it to you? She is my a bit on the side...the way you had John". Khushi looked up at him with shock and then tears.

"Arnav...I..."

"Khushi you have something to tell me..you can...I am your husband I have a right to know".

"No I have nothing to tell you but if you let that witch anywhere near you I will..."

"You will what?" he asked with an arched eyebrow.

She grabbed him by the collar. "Arnav you can't do this to me!"

"Oh baby I can! Just watch me...what we are doing is called an 'open marriage'...so you are free to see John (which you can't coz I have taken care of him) but I can do whatever I want...and you can't stop me".

Khushi's eyes started swelling with tears. "Arnav we are married...it's wrong...we can't have extra marital affairs..."

He grabbed her by the arms and pulled her close. "Khushi you should have thought about that when you went behind my back...if I have gone back to my old ways it is because of you Khushi".

She looked into his sinister eyes and he lowered his face near her. "Khushi if there anything you need to tell me..just tell me..."

Khushi felt like crumbling and telling him but then she started. "Arnav...I..."

He cupped her face and pushed her hair back. "Go on Khushi..." his voice turned huskier.

"I...have..."

He lowered his lips towards her lips. "Nothing to say to you". He pushed her away.

"Khushi just go...and another thing...me and Lavanya are dating". Khushi looked back appalled. Grabbing her dupatta she walked out crying. Arnav looked on with an indifferent expression.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Riazada, it's my way or the highway!"

Khushi put Aryan to sleep and was mulling over whether she should approach Arnav regarding Lavanya.

*Khushi you cannot let your husband in another lady's arms...Lavanya is his past and he could re-kindle his relationship easily...they probably have already...Khushi go and talk to him..it's your marriage at stake*

Arnav stood near his gliding doors looking at the stars and talking to someone on the mobile. Khushi came in the room and stood there waiting for him to finish.

"Lavanya I missed you man I'm glad you are back...yeh don't worry about Khushi...it's about you and me...ummmhhh yeh I would have taken you but you know the client has invited me and Khushi...as she is my wife still I have to take her...Lavanya thank you for giving me a good time yesterday...anyway see you in the morning..."

He turned around saw Khushi.

"Khushi what you doing here?"

"Arnav I needed to talk to you...about...Lavanya". He arched his eyebrow and looked amused.

"I'm all ears...go on".

"We are married still so you should not go and see other women...especially Lavanya".

"Why? Tume kya farak parta hain?" (Why does it matter to you?)

"Because I am your wife..and...we have a child together".

Grabbing her by the arms he pinned her to the gliding doors. "YOU DIDN'T THINK ABOUT ME WHEN YOU HAD AN AFFAIR WITH THAT JOHN...HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW IT MADE ME FEEL? KHUSHI I LOVED YOU ALOT...MORE THAN ANYTHING AND YOU LET ME DOWN...AND NOW YOU'RE PREACHING THAT I AM SINNING BY SEEING LAVANYA! KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA SINGH RAIZADA AT LEAST LAVANYA DOES NOT ACT AS A SWEET AND INNOCENT GIRL...WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET...YOU KNOW WHAT THEY CALL WOMEN LIKE YOU? FORGET IT WHY AM I WASTING MY BLOODY BREATH!"

His words caused a sharp pain in her heart and her eyes flowed with tears. "Arnav please try to understand.."

He looked at her tears and wiped them with his fingers. "Make me understand Khushi". She looked into his eyes that wanted answers. "Arnav I cannot tell you..."

His compassionate eyes turned angry again. "GET OUT OF MY ROOM! I SAID GO!"

Khushi ran off with her hand on her mouth. Arnav looked on with a smirk.
