Khushi was sitting with the beautician in her room who was applying mehndi to her hand. Today was her mehndi and she by a lot of persuasion to Anjali saying that she is not feeling well stayed in her room as outside she cannot bear the sympathetic gazes of people who were considering her marriage to a man with a huge age gap as a crime. She cannot tell them what she was feeling and what she was going through while doing all this. She was in her thoughts when the makeup girl asked her;

"Aap ke unn ka naam kya hai?" Her tongue was stuck

"Aa …. Ar …. Ar….. Arn …… Ar……."

"Arnav" She closed her eyes hearing the voice of the last person she wants to be around at this time, The girl started applying mehndi again while he came inside. She could feel him sitting near her but she did not open her eyes

"Di and Payal are busy so unhon ne kaha ke tum ne kuch ……" He stopped looking at her closed eyes

"Open your eyes Khushi, tum chahti thi ke hamari phir se shaadi ho so why are you running from all this" As he said tears which she was pushing back rolled on her cheeks and she opened her eyes

She could see him holding a spoon full of her favorite rice, "Eat" As he said she parted her lips to take in the spoon, She barely chewed rice, as he brought the second spoon she stopped him

"Please humain nahi chahiye" Arnav shrugged his shoulders and dropped the plate at side table

"Aap please jaien yahan se" She tried to calm herself

"Have you done with the packing?" this was the second time Khushi heard him asking it and she did not understand it again

"Kya?" Meanwhile he opened her cupboard and start putting her things in a suitcase

"Aa … aap kya ker rahe hain? Please jaien yahan se" She cannot stop him because of the mehndi on her hands and feet

Arnav unheard her and continued with what he was doing when his hand stilled seeing something like a notebook,

"Daikhiye aa ….." She lost her words seeing her diary in his hands

"Anjali where is Arnav?" Shyam asked as he haven't seen him for long

"Main ne Chotte ko Khushi ke pass bhaija hai uss ne subah se kuch nahi khaya" Anjali replied while Shyam made his way to Khushi's room

As she saw him flipping the page she without caring about her mehndi ran to him and within seconds snatched diary from his hands. He was surprised by her act, In snatching as her hands brushed with his some mehndi was stick to his hand

"How dare you touch my things?" She hide her hand which was holding the diary behind

"Relax Khushi, daikho tum ne apni mehndi kharab ker li" Arnav smirked and pointed towards her hands where the whole design was messed up now

"Khushi yeh aap ne kya kiya, aap ki sari mehndi kharab ho gayee" The girl shouted from behind while his continuous smile was annoying Khushi

"Iss ki mehndi thi hi kharab hone ke liye" Again she didn't get what he said

"Aap humain saaf saaf bataien ke aap kya chahte hain" Finally she courage to ask

He leaned to her making her step back, "Tumhain iss ghar se bahir" He whispered in her ear and she was shocked to hear it. They were getting married and he was saying he want her out of the house

"Saale Sahab" Arnav moved away from Khushi at the interruption while Khushi went to bathroom to wash her hands

"Tum yahan kya ker rahe ho?" Arnav asked furious

Shyam stepped towards him and smirked, "Apni ghar wali …. Oh sorry" He paused as he really enjoyed the angry expressions of Arnav, "Apni would be ghar wali se baat karne aaya hoon"

"In your dreams, kal meri aur Khushi ki shadi ke baad main daikhta hoon tum kya ker sakte ho" Arnav threatened him

"Daikhte hain Arnav" As Khushi came out she found them glaring each other with an expression which she fear to mention

"Hu … humain rest kerna hai please aap jaien yahan se" Both came to their senses hearing her voice, Shyam was the first one to move out while Arnav turned and looked at an extremely worried and nervous Khushi

"I am sorry Khushi I didn't meant to hurt you but I have to do this" Khushi was surprised by Arnav's strange gaze, a gaze which was for the first time of tenderness and not hate, She was unable to comprehend all this. Now all she could do is to wait for tomorrow which unknow to her going to change her life
