Concept:

Samrat and Khushi were in college together. They become friends but soon they realized that this is more than friendship and so they decided to take their relationship to other level. They get married and was very happy in their life. Khushi used to wear reading glasses and Samrat liked her more with her glasses and he used to call her Chashmish. Things were going straight till one day when Samrat has to go out of town to attend a conference but on the way his car met with accident. Police could not find his dead body but Khushi left shattered learning about Samrat's death.

One year has been passed like this; She kept on remembering about his accident and so one day she decided to kill herself, but the fate has something else in store for her and a guy (Arnav) saved her, when she saw him, he reminds her of Samrat and she quickly went from there.

Anjali was insisting Arnav to get married and so she showed him picture of a girl, he was not interested but when he saw her picture she remembered that this was the same girl whom he saved from the accident. He agreed for the marriage but Khushi was not ready to get marry as she cannot give the place of Samrat to any other person but for the sake of her paralyzed father she said yes.

They get married and it was Arnav who was trying things to work in between them. He has seen her lost whenever he was around her but he related it to as her hesitation and shyness. On the other hand everything of Arnav reminds Khushi of Samrat and not holding the torture anymore she once again tried to commit suicide but again Arnav saved her and that day he came to know that she was still living in Samrat's memories. He get furious on her and she realized that she was not doing right by hurting Arnav. She decided to give a chance to this relationship and apologized from Arnav. He loves her so he gives another chance to their relation. Things were going well and Khushi started feeling for Arnav but then one day she gets a call from Samrat and she broke down. She went to Arnav and tried to tell him about Samrat but he was going away for a business trip so she decided to tell him later. Khushi went in Anjali's friend wedding and here she came across with Samrat. Arnav wants to surprise Khushi so after his trip he came to the wedding but here he get surprised to see his wife with some other person. When he get to know the truth he decided to divorce Khushi so she can go back to her first love but only he knew the pain he was going through in doing it. When he handed Divorce papers to Khushi she get shocked and the moment she realized that she loves Arnav more than she loved Samrat because he was the one who brought her out of the darkness to the light. She went to Samrat and asks him to go away from her life as she has moved on now. Samrat left broken but then he went away for the sake of his love. She went to Arnav's workplace and there confessed her feelings for him. Rest they both lived happily ever after.
