@Kirthi: Yes! I read your write up a bunch of pages ago about him being guilty for betraying Aarti and I think that is the most plausible explanation for the time being, given the information that we do have. Arpita is not in the picture at all though, and I am glad there are more people who agree. Or rather, a better way to put it is that Arpita is only a factor insomuch as she was part of the promise that Yash made to Aarti. I think we tend to forget that he really doesn't know how she feels about him, though to us it is obvious. He has incredibly low self worth and he has always had to be beaten over the head with things. I think that is partly what he resents Aarti for, for playing with his feelings and arousing new ones when she wasn't in it for real. But I am getting more and more impatient for his side of the story! I want my AHA moment, NOW!

@Kadeen: That is a really interesting comparison! Fear of the name is fear of the thing itself after all. I do hope Yash will rise up as our HP and say the name over and over again until it is meaningless! Because that is surely what Prashant Dubey deserves!

@Angel: I loved this line you wrote:

"It felt as if they were agreeing on something. Something intangible which would be lost when the bright light of day comes, but for the time being it would do!"

To which I say, precisely! It was something that meant Yash had moved on and that he loved Aarti, and something that meant Aarti loved him back and wanted this just as much as he did. But with the faculties intact, such clarity was spirited away!

I think he was genuinely okay with it but something changed his mind much later on.

YES! So much.

I just hope the X factor is the EX factor! šŸ˜‰

My cousin who watched the episode online per my advice texted me this afternoon at my work with just OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! I had to text her back to calm her down and tell her that we will skype this evening. She was totally in awe of the episode and so was I. We both were blushing and gushing like two idiots until her mom (she calls Kabab mein haddi, i.e my aunt) showed up šŸ˜†
Anyways, Today's episode was breathtaking and both KS and GC set the screen on fire. Such sizzling chemistry, that's what I said and mind you that I have not watched neither of their previous shows. Now my cousin has watched Geet and she said that the chemistry in this show is mindblowing just like the previous one and Gurmeet does perfect justice to any role he takes up.
Yesterday, I was worried that the JJSS song would be cut short but today they played it fully and GC and KS were brilliant performing for that song. All the practice from Jhalak might have helped GC when he did a full circle jump with the damroo on air and landed lightly on his feet. KS was no less in her dance steps with all her steps/moves/jumps that too wearing a saree.
I loved the part where Arti was teasing Yash about his pointed nose and he was trying to look at his nose in his half awake state. That was hilarious!
As @jyoti and @Sam were saying the song selection was perfect and the camera work was brilliant. Loved the song so much that we both downloaded it and added it to our collection 😃. It was definitely a treat to watch their mesmerizing act unfold on screen with such passion and love. So, once again the rain played a pivotal role in bringing them together. I am starting to think that rain by itself is a character as it has so much significance in both Yash and Arti's life. Finally, all of the hair pulling, predicting, analyzing for three long weeks is worth it and I am in love with this show. I usually have time to watch one show to get my desi fix and I have to say that this show is plenty good to keep me on my toes 😃

Forgot to add.. Baby AarYa was conceived with pancha bhoota as witnesses 😃

Five Elements - or the five pillars of Creation - are the building blocks of the universe. In order, the elements are: Earth, Fire, Sky, Water and Air. We had all :)

@Kirthi: This one is my absolute favourite example. Watch from 2:08. 🤣

(I shall edit this if it offends anyone...but it's so funny!)

@Priya: I am so glad we have you fully and irrevocably on board! I completely agree with your cousin about the chemistry of the leads here. And you know what, it is in some ways even more intense (and I will probably get burned as a heretic for saying this) because of the meticulous execution of the story, which was sadly lacking in Geet after a certain point. šŸ˜’ There the leads' chemistry pretty much carried the show but here we have a great, and relatively less flawed narrative to back them up and I think that only adds to the effect of the chemistry.

@Deeps: Thanks for the caps! Thanks for the pancha bhoota explanation. So I hope they keep the baby er I mean the CV's .

@Sam: Thanks!😳 I loved your analysis.

EDIT: The most hilarious part of the episode for me was Yash dancing with that topless pundit and playing with his paunch!!🤣🤣🤣

@ Sam: Still working my way through the thread. Gosh, how can it take me so long to read short phrases?!! But, I couldn't resist that video you just placed. OMG!!! I wish I had known about Geet. That little clip has fried my computer and my eyes!!!! So much chemistry!!!! Crying buckets of despair because I never saw it!!! And there he is pleating her dupatta!!! 🤣🤣
Makes you wonder how women and men who marry actors ever manage to balance work and home..."Honey, relax! I pleat your saree differently from theirs. You know I do yours (sari of coursešŸ˜•) front to back, and theirs back to front." Guru holding his ears🤣

Hey guys,
Here I am sitting in my tutorial @ uni...and I am so not in the mood 4 class...my entire mind has been invaded by AarYa...šŸ˜†
Can't wait for this class to finish so I can rush home and rewatch the entire episode again and get on with my analysis 😳

@deeps: 200 caps? hehe I understand...I was very tempted to take a lot more caps than I did but that's ur job šŸ˜†
But I still went overboard and took 120 caps šŸ˜†

@all: I shall read everyone's analysis once I get baq home, since they r a lot easier to find now ;)

@Sammy, OMG OMG 🤣🤣 That sure looks like Gurmeet's quirkiness. Okay, I have officially fallen in love with this guy. 🤣 I Loooved it.

And I watched the repeat on TV right now. What a difference watching it on TV. Eeeks.

Also, agree with everything you said to Priya. I mean I haven't watched Geet but about PV and its narrative. Here, the show does not depend only on the leads' chemistry. I think I read somewhere where someone mentioned that the whole foreplay looked very forced. I know it is all perceptions but I thought to myself if you understood these two characters then you would also understand their restrained passion. All I saw was, the complete sense of contentment along with unleashed desire in Aarti's eyes. And Yash, goodness! His eyes were glued to Aarti's face. He was reading her every emotion. There was a quiet determination in his eyes that he wanted this and he was not going to let her getaway. It was all very beautifully done.

@Deeps, thank you for the caps and that brilliant symbolism of the 5 elements. šŸ¤—

@Angel, I am glad you weren't coherent today. šŸ˜† Lovely take.
