Pain of Separation

After one week in front of Buwaji House

Khushi was sitting in the bench outside of house with full of confuse. She did not know why Arnavji leave her like this disappears in to nothingness like he never meet her. It has been almost a week but still she could not understand why he was left her. The other day after return from Lacknow, she wakes up finds her other side fills with emptiness. She thought he should have wake up before her, went for jogging. She sat up on the bed hugs her knees rest her chin on the knee, smiles. She said "My laad governor". She remembers how cutely he dazes off in her lap, how adamant he is even for cry, how he broke that goon hand, says loudly "his anger always on his nose, but you know Arnavji I love you more when you get angry like that, you know Arnavji if you just let me know that you love me then I would not even thought to leave the house, today we are going HOME"

She get up from bed go to Buwaji asking for tea. Buwaji scolds her "Arre Sanika Devi first brush your teeth". Khushi go to bathroom for face wash. She slides water from her eyelids sees there is no stuff of Arnavji. She runs to her room check for his stuffs, it's also says the empty. She could not bear it; tears find it own way down to her cheek.

Buwaji see come with tea for her sees her tear with satisfied smile.

"Arre Parameswary, how long are you going to stare at stars come inside" Buwaji voice make Khushi come to this world. Khushi come back to the world from her though said "Haan Buwaji, I will come after sometime please". She looks up at he stars said

"Arnavji, where are you? Why did you leave me like this?"

She continue "I wish I come and meet you there in Shantivaan but contract is finished, you leave me without say anything then how can I come there."

Arnav was standing at the poolside, staring in to blankness. His tore and tried face looks like he has not slept properly for past days. In facet, sleep is not anywhere nears him, he could not sleep anymore without her, without her lap to sleep, and he looks back at neatly fold empty bed. It was not same without her, Even in all those days he slept in the recliner but she was there. Without her, without her stuff spread in this room, without her blubbers, his days never become complete. All he want to see her face, holds her between his arms, daze off her in to her heaven like lap with beautiful dreams behind close eyes, see her eyes twinkle in happiness, see those eyes challenge him, reflecting all emotion except sad.

He remembers the day he left her behind.

It was the very beautiful & wrench day of his life. He wakes up from her lap, looks at her face glowing in sunrise rays. He realize his position, his face buried in to her stomach, her fingers through his hairs, his hands grapes her other hand hold it against his chest. He wishes, he just could wakes up every day like this seeing her angelic face. He become conscious that she slept in sitting position, her body will arch.

He makes her lay down on the bed in the process she snuggle in to him, grips his T shirt in the sleep. He rests her head on the pillow. He rests his head on his palm support on his elbow. He removes her hairs from her forehead. Slowly takes her hand place on his chest, begin to talk to her

"Please Khushi forgive me for doing this but I have to do this, you know the words If you love somebody let them go if they come back to you it is yours. I want you to be mine. But I can force you above all I am the reason for every tiny bad thing happened to you, I could not... I know it is hard for me & wish for the first time it should be hard also to you. I hope against hope that one day you will come to me, yourself, because of the love for me from you, not by the force I give you or because of the damn contract. I know I caused you lot o pain but I love you so much so I cannot accept you coming by any other reason non other than love. I know I did not deserve your love but it is the thing I have to do make me eligible for you love, let you go for your own wish not to force you do anything. I cannot watch anymore smiles slip from your face, your blubbers go away from you, your eyes stop twinkle with mischievous, Your extremely odd but funny ideas leave you forever"

He takes a deep breath in and let out it as a sigh then continues

"I want my old Khushi back to me who challenge the Arnav Singh Raizada when everybody fears to even talk to him, the old Khushi who blubbers, chirpy mode, dare for anything, lively Khushi who calls me Rakshas, Laad Governor."

Pain in his voice must be disturb her sleep, she shifted uncomfortably, he bent down place a kiss on her forehead stay there little longer, bite back the whole emotions. She relaxed and go back to sleep.

When they come back by flight they did not talk much as they never are in to a situation for a personal conversion he just holds her hand with his all the way, they come straightly to Buwaji house and he leave immediately to AR. Khushi wanted to talk to him badly but she could not find a chance as he is in rush. She helps him to ready, put button of his shirt, sleeve, and his coat. When he about to go her voice stop him "you will come early would not you". He did not say anything just nods his head and leave.

Arnav rest his back on the still sit on the office chair he has nothing to do here. He finished his whole works before eight, until nine he tries to do some other works also but after ten thirty there is no work left for him undone. Now it is almost mid night. He has to go at some time with a deep sigh he gets up from chair, grape the car key.

Khushi waits for him in the hall. She gets up walk back and forth; go near the window looks outside for headlight of car, come back with pouted lips, murmured Laad governor. She sits & up restlessly, again walks back & forth sees the clock hits almost ten. She tries to ring his phone it says it is switched off. She sets the pillow on the sofa and falls asleep.

Arnav come in to the home by window knowing everybody will be asleep, finds Khushi asleep on sofa. He left her in to his arm carry her to her bed, she awake a little at his touch hugs around his neck rest her head on his shoulder, she mumble in sleep

"Arnavji I want ta... all sleepy I wi... uu... leave tom"

He smiles at her blubber at sleep. He lays her on the bed remove her hand from his waist coat. Come out calls "Buwaji"

Buwaji come out from her room ask "anything you want Arnav bituwa". Arnav nods his head said "Sorry I am disrobing you all at the night but have to do otherwise I would not. I wanted to talk to you all, please Buwaji" Buwaji calls Garima & shahsi.

"Buwaji, Aunty and uncle I know you all love me in that hope I am going to a one think if you accept it I will take as you all forgive me what I do to you and Khushi. I realize my mistake only after I go with Khushi to Lacknow I did not know my action that night and the clip I let out in angry make an impact on a family like this but I know that is not an excuse but I wanted to repent it."

All three of them staring at him oddly, he continue "I buy a restaurant for you her in the name of KKSGR, it is her tappa service name, as you sell all the property in lacknow because of me". When they about to protest he held his hand stops them "I know you would not take in this way even Khushi would not like this, I made a arrangement for this please take as loan, you can pay off monthly without interest please do not reject". The sincerity in his eyes and the pain & guild he tires to screen behind his anger visible for them now like crystal clear.

Shashi Gupta looks in to Arnav eyes for sometime then; He nods his head in acceptation. Arnav asks them "please do not tell Khushi about this, I am leaving Khushi with you for now. Khushi is the one and only wife of mine. I wish she come to me herself. Please do not force her to come Shantivaan she can come whenever she wanted to." Arnav gets up to leave but he wanted see her before go.

He moves the mosquito net sits inside of bed. Khushi sounds deep asleep. He removes her hair on her face, caresses her forehead, eyes, cheek, jaw line so softly. He bent down place a soft kiss on her forehead then eyes. He back off little then breathe in to words "Khushi please come back to me soon" He slowly caresses his lips with hers, she nestle in to him. He back again said "I can't live without you Khushi, I just can't".

He comes out from bed room to hall and give a parcel to Buwaji said "Please Buwaji give it to Khushi if she decide to come Shantivaan. Sahahi gestures Garima to give a pen & paper. He writes on paper calls Arnav near him give the paper to him, first Arnav struggle a little with his Hindi then read "Arnav beta if I had a son I wish he is like you, don't worry your Khushi will come to you sooner than you think". Arnav looks up at him with suddenly moisture eyes. Shashi gives him a reassurance smile open his arm to hug him. Arnav hug him and covered his face in to his shoulder & nods. Shashi pads his back.

Arnav shifted uncomfortably, title up his face to sky gaze up the stars tries to gulps down the whole pain of separation said

"Khushi I dream now on one day you will come to me yourself with your love for me"

He turns around as he heard her voice calling him "Arnavji, why you did not come to dining table". His eyes moisture and twinkle with happiness as he sees her scolding at him in this way. He urgently strokes toward her try to grape her hand but she vanished in the air, as soon as he nears. Arnav close his fingers in to fist in empty air and close his eyes. He forgets the counts of time happening like this.

Khushi gets up go inside of house.
