Dear friends, I was unable to post yesterday and this morning due to some problems. The title that Tanthya gave was too excellent that I wanted to pen down a few thoughts. I've also included my thoughts on today's episode, enjoy.

Arnav Singh Raizada, The Brahma Kamal

I know the women are generally compared to flowers, but today I decided to try something different. So, here it goes. Arnav Singh Raizada, a man who for 14 years struggled to get out of his horrid, painful past. He let it change him completely and his true self was hidden away without any chance of ever opening or blooming again. All that surrounded him was darkness and there was no chance to spread his wings. He could no longer experience the freedom of flying high up in air and spread the fragrance of his true self around. Enter Khushi after these same 14 years, who pours the true essence of life into him. Though not aware, he started blooming from that day. It took him a year to realize that he's opened up, opened up to the large possibilities of life itself. The struggle he went through to emerge out of his self-imprisonment was very painful, but isn't it true that when all doors are closed God leaves a window open? Interspersed within this struggle for emergence were some precious moments with his beloved; can be help but reminiscence when he sees the love of his life spreading her cheerfulness around?

Yes, the Brahma Kamal blooms for a short span and withers away, but why not think that this short span embodies a life time's existence of Arnav Singh Raizada? Today, we saw how he's still struggling to put the past behind, but circumstances are pulling him back. He's so afraid that he'll be caught up in that quagmire again and his happiness will be taken away from him. He's still the vulnerable Arnav, but the warrior in him is very much present. He'll once again emerge the victor in whatever plans dadi and shyam have for him. Shall we wait and see?

Today's episode:

Simply Irresistible

The mehendi ceremony has started and the nok jhok of the bride and groom continues. Arnav wants LG on Khushi's hands and she wants an A. Khushi wants him to dance and put mehendi, but Arnav doesn't want to and he walks away. Dear Khoosi, bhy phear bhen NK ij here? All that NK fears is Buaji, right?😆

While the family is dancing and enjoying, enter our hero who notices right away that Khushi's dori has come undone; he catches her eye and nods to her to come to him. Khushi pretends to dance, slowly walks away and joins a waiting Arnav who's chosen a private spot for them. 😉

Arnav, as usual tries to hold Khushi's hand. She protests and shows him her mehendi filled hands, all the while smiling, happy and yes, her eyes dare him to touch her. How can he resist this beauty who's charms are tantalizing and whose innocent eyes are inviting him? His picks up the gauntlet; he puts his arm around her waist and pulls her closer to him. He doesn't want any distance to separate them. Khushi tries to protest asking him to leave her. But, he's a master who already knows the lady doth protest too much. When Arnav asks her 'Really', what can she do except admit silently that she wants to be in his arms too? While their eyes are talking to each other, Arnav gently puts his arms on her waist and slowly starts turning her around. Khushi has no idea why he's doing it and is already short on breath in anticipation of what, she knows not. He keeps her waiting for a few seconds, brings his arms up along her hands as if to tease her and then ties her dori very slowly. She understands and smiles. When she turns to look at him, Arnav bends his head to kiss her. Khushi is very shy, smiles at this and tires to walk away only to stop and turn back. Can she help it? she wants to steal another look at her Arnav ji. Arnav shows her his palm and it has a spot of mehendi on it. She got her wish and he's been marked as hers forever. She can no longer stand the temptation, walks towards him and hugs him tightly and he hugs her back. They are content and happy in each other's arms.

This scene was executed beautifully and Barun and Sanaya's amazing chemistry took it up a notch.👏👏 I just loved the fact that there were very few words exchanged. Barun was especially good when he showed his palm with the blob of mehendi; it reminded me of a school kid who's guilty of doing something wrong and is standing in front of the teacher.😆 It was absolutely adorable. The vulnerability that Arnav feels when Khushi leaves him to join the family was excellently expressed by Barun.👏

For some reason, I remembered Nat King Cole's song L-O-V-E when I saw Arnav and Khushi today. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Mami ji, why aren't you dancing today? Ahh, you know your duty is adhoora if Garima is not introduced to Dadi ji, right? Mami invites Dadi ji to join the mehendi group so she can introduce Garima. Meanwhile the dholak playing starts and while mami goes to Garima to point her out to dadi ji, Dadi ji disappears. This doesn't deter her. She takes Garima with her and introduces her to Dadi ji with a big tan tada; this time around, the lights are out. Dadi ji and Garima are still in the dark about each other. Dear Mami ji, don't you know until Devi Maiyya wills it, it won't happen? When it's time for these tectonic plates to push against each other, it'll definitely happen.

Arnav follows Khushi who joins the rest of the family that's enjoying. NK and Akash drag him to the stage for dancing. While attempting to dance, Arnav notices one familiar face amongst dholak players and starts getting suspicious. A worried Anjali is noticing this and when she feels Shyam may be found out, she pulls the main switch to turn off the lights. This happens just when Arnav is about to fall on Shyam while dancing and it's definitely a close call. Shyam uses this opportunity to walk away. How long before these tectonic plates collide with each other or rub off of each other and the volcano erupts? Not too long. Shall we wait and see?

Abhaas Mehta and Daljeet Bhanot - Excellent job👏👏

A thing called LOVE. What it does to a man. A man who refused to acknowledge his own existence. He showed his back to wards the world. He wanted to walk backwards when the entire world wanted to move forward. He had made his world dark and refused to look at light. He wanted to despise everything and everyone except a few. He wanted to give two hoots about everything. He still had a point to prove. That the world should know that there is certain someone called Arnav Singh Raizada. So what if he didn't care for the world. His thought process was clear. The entire world should fall of his feet. And he wanted to walk alone. IGNORING everything.

He had no idea that it he would one day cross path with Khushi Kumari Gupta. One day she will make him notice her. One day she will make him take steps in forward direction. She will one day make him realize the existence of himself, her and the world. She will one day become his sunshine and illuminate his world with soft beautiful light. And shoo away the darkness which had become his second nature. Yes my friends all this happened. This was nobody's dream. Nor an illusion. Its a reality. Arnav-Khushi's real world.

He has proved to her often times than not that he will go to any extent to bring a smile on her face. He is not going to spare anything for that smile. Even if for a minute the light surrounding them was out and he was concerned about his Di, his very next concern for about her. He was concerned about her safety. And the Dori scene. Not a single word spoken after Aap Yeh Kya kar rahe hai.. The touch and eyes were doing the talking. Trust is now the foundation of this relationship. So the building is going to be a strong one. No external factor can cause any damage. Rest assured.

That serene act on his part of daubing himself with the mehendi from her hand. Point that he proved with this simple gesture is mind blowing. Coloring himself in her colors. Final few steps to be climbed before them reach the final stage to start a new beginning.

Hello reduxians!
Today on principle I shall only talk about Arnav and khushi!

Why would I do that? Definitely not because there was an abundance of them in the episode but rather the contrary!

I think by focusing only on them I can keep my focus and keep reminding myself that this is their wedding, their rasm, their 'pyaar' when we talk about iss pyaar ko... Because I think the PH seems to be becoming a victim of amnesia!

Before I say anything else I want to voice out a concern.
Isnt this story supposed to be about Arnav and Khushi, aren't they the protagonists, the lead? The others, their relatives, their enemies they should be secondary right? But why is this feeling changing!? Garima's past will effect their relation! Shyam's tactics will ruin (hopefully not) their wedding! Anjali's betrayal will break Arnav's trust!? Why have Arnav and khushi shifted from being the regulators of the unfurling of events, to being passive victims of all that's happening around them. Only in the episodes early this week I had felt a bit relieved thinking that thankGod we hVe Arnav back in action, spotting the oddity, scenting something fishy and not ignoring it but taking action! It felt glad that at least he's putting up a fight! At least there's someone who can stop Shyam! I don't like the feel of the creepy snake shyam appearing wiser than our ASR! It's disgraceful! Of all the things he has done, justice has not been met yet! What did he get in return? Two slaps and a push out the gate! That's it? And all that he's doing now? Can no one notice? Can't ASR do that? Can't NK or Akaash catch shyam for a change? Can't the detective Mami do so? Or Nani? Or Bua jee? Hadn't she warned Shyam to stay away from khushi's life and threatened him! Well can't she keep a check now. Oh and I can't recall khushi telling her family about Arnav's kidnapping or Shyam being thrown out so why don't we have garima or Bua jee asking questions? From khushi (obviously)!

It's there 'MEHENDI' for god sake!!!!! I seriously don't care about the dhol walas or the about to fall baby bumps! Payaash had a full fledged sangeet! Can't we for a change see payola and akaash dancing on a song sequence? Just the pair? Can't we have another nk's solo? And Nani jee or buajee or mami jee's or the trio's jalva! Is that too much to ask for!? :-(

Can't we have a Teri Meri prem kahani! Paaahhhleeezzz!

I'm sorry to say this but I can't stand Anjali anymore! Initially I felt bad for her now I'm disgusted by her! I mean the woman for whom her chottay meant a world! For whom she would get worried and freak out! For whom she was ready to accept lavanya and do anything to convince Nani for accepting her too. Who insisted on not giving up and begged/bribed/forced khushi to help her for her chotay! Who would serve the bridge between Arnav and khushi when she felt/sensed something wrong? Is this the same Anjali? Lying to her brother knowing how much a lie hurts, how she felt when she thought Arnav had lied to her about Bua jee's health which he hadn't. Is this the same Dee who would be mesmerized by Arnav's one rare laughter and today when he dances with joy, she cannot even see him let alone be delighted. Rather she's devastated, sweating profusely for her husband. She is so disillusioned that cannot even see the celebrations around her! She is figuratively and literally in darkness! Today Arnav ran to her, brought light to her when she was standing in the dark! But she remained distracted! She could not ficus on all her loved ones that were surrounding her, calling for candles, calling for light, quenching her thirst! No she could not see. The world had tuned out for her, she's in search of her Shyam, even after the families attempt to get her light, she still want to go to her Shyam, her evening that will bring her nothing but night and darkness again. But I do not pity her anymore. Before I did; now I don't. Before she was a victim of lies and deceit! Now she herself is the liar and the deceiver!
My heart aches not for her, but for her victims! I know I might sound heartless and cruel! But even if she does get hurt in the coming episodes, I will not grieve for her. I shall grieve for the brother who so loyally and tirelessly tried to protect her, who made the worst mistake in his life to erase the wrongs in hers. Who considers her his family, if anything happens to Anjali I would hate not Shyam, but Anjali!

There was a time when I would not visit doctors because I thought I was being selfless, that it wasn't necessary. At one time my husband claimed that if I love him and my girls I would take care of myself not because I'm self centered but because their are people who love me! One looks after ones self for those who love them. You cannot always live for yourself.

But Anjali does! If something goes wrong with Anjali which I have a bad feeling would! I won't forgive her! Because she's one of the two ppl that make ASR's world! She means a world to someone! How can she be so careless about herself!!?

So much for talking only about Arnav and khushi!!!! :-/
I'm upset! Shyam was lurking in the shadows in Paayaash's wedding too but Arhi's love was not overshadowed by his presence just toasted the end! But here during THE wedding! There's so much gloom, the feeling of festivity and fe'te is greatly missed!

Please CV's I've never felt so depressed at any wedding, not even a strangers! Yeh to phir humaray apnay Arnav aur Khushi hain!
I know the story matters I know and respect the tagline! But call me an emo-senti fool, it aches to see such pure unconditional love become a victim to deceptions and vice!
Makes me lose faith...:-(

Loved simply loved today's episode. So much of ARSHI in it.

We start with where we left yesterday , but hai re nand kishore you interrupted the eye lock. Well Khushi is happy that Arnav is there for Mehndi but she wants him to apply mehendi and dance as well. Now this is too much to expect from ASR. Can't see him doing this, but then ARNAV is doing a lot of things which he has not done before for his darling Khushi .

Well there are some complaining about the lack of chemistry and Barun hesitation in the hug and dori tying scene, form my view it was absolutely brilliant execution, I loved this rabba vey. One of the best in recent times. Without even touching her he is stirring all the desires and passion in her. Oh the slight brush of his palm on her mehendi hand was so good. The way he tied the dori was so sensous, man I am totally in dreamland. Can't come out of that and think rationally . Loved the hug as well , the appreciation, love and thanks in their eyes so beautifully portrayed by both of them. Honestly I am one person who wants this marriage to happen, and then all the truth revealing . But I know most of you don't want it happening .

The music was the same one used during Holi isn't it !!! Well once again the game of hide and seek played between Dadi-Garima and Shyam-Arnav. Well Anjali is one smart woman not as dumb as we thought. But I want to know how did she manage to sprint so fast and cut the power supply , Anjali Mateey please give me also some tips.

We are still in suspense as to what will happen tomorrow , will Anjali step on those glass pieces or someone else. That's IPK for you today . Overall a good episode .

Hello Reduxians! Sorry for no analysis despite reserving a post yesterday! The day was hectic and I didn't have any time to sit down and analyse! In fact, I barely have time today yet I still want to give some form of analysis! I might do a bit on yesterday's episode too 😊

"Tectonic plates" - plates on the earth's crust moving in opposite directions. If they collide an earthquake can occur or a volcano can erupt. Who are the tectonic plates here? Our two strong characters who have already collided so many times, Arnav and Khushi? Or will it be Garima & Dadi who will rock the foundations of the Raizada family with their massive collision?

Now, to the episode. I've decided not to add an analysis of yesterday as I'm short on time as it is. All I will say about yesterday is that the Arnav-Dadi conversation was very important - could this mean that Arnav will put the past behind him after discovering the truth and move on? It's obvious that that's what he now wants to do. Also, Anjali & Shyam's parts are necessary. They're a huge part of all of this too, remember. & to top off a good episode, we get an adorable Rabba Ve moment (using the first ever Rabba Ve tune! I'm loving it, totally shows how they're starting afresh!) 😳

Today's episode was pretty good in my opinion, and not just because of the ArHi cuteness 😉 Will give a rather brief analysis on some parts!

Will Arnav stop at nothing to make his Khushi happy? He gave a mischievous look when Khushi was upset about him not dancing or doing mehndi & we all know what he did to make his fiancee happy after that! 😳

NK & Buaji - bless this beautiful couple! Haha after Arnav & Khushi, HP & Laxmi, NK & Buaji are the best couple 😆

Their silent conversation was such a husband-wife thing that I was just dying from the cuteness. They know each other so well (but then again, they are telepathic so... 😛)
This time, when he previously opened Khushi's hair to cover her, he asserted his authority over her and tied the dori himself! Um guys, I am convinced that the CVs read my FF now. Like, seriously. So many things have happened in my FF that later happened in the show - I actually had a dori scene just like this one! Yes, the essence of my chapter was different but it involved Arnav tying her dori. Check out the chapter if you don't believe me:

Arnav, with a naughty look in his eyes, pulled Khushi towards him so their bodies were flush against one another because he knew Khushi wouldn't be able to stop him with her mehndi-filled hands 😳
The way he tied her dori reminded me so much of the undressing-err, lights scene 😆
His guilty raising of his hand with the mehndi streak on it just proved to Khushi how madly in love he is. He himself told her earlier that he'd never put mehndi on, yet when he realised it would make her happy he did it in an instant in his normal ASR fashion. I honestly didn't even realise that he took a smudge off her arm! But this, to me, symbolised how Khushi 'belongs' to him. He will always have a part of her in him, whether they are near or far from one another. They are now two souls moulded into one, a part of each other, an extension of each other. The sheer strength of their relationship, the power of it brings tears to Arnav's eyes as he never believed that he could feel love quite like this. He never expected that this would ever happen to him, least of all with Khushi. A word to all those who said Barun looked uncomfortable during the hug: I said this in the previous thread - Barun probably felt uncomfortable as Sanaya's back was practically bare. He touched her freely when there was cloth in between them, but it can't be easy to look comfortable when she's dressed like that and he has to touch her like that. I still felt the intensity of the hug, though, and he did still touch her - everything else in the scene was perfect!

Hide and seek finally ended - cue a power cut! Anjali cut the electricity as soon as Arnav was about to see Shyam. She's trying so much to throw everyone off his scent, but how far is she willing to go? The lights off when Garima talked to Dadi indicated that everyone in RM is being kept in the dark about the past & no one actually knows the full truth. Everyone knows and holds a part of the puzzle, but will they be able to put it together and discover what the actual truth is, or will they all hold on to their own ideologies and not discover the truth due to their own stubbornness? When the lights returned Garima was nowhere to be seen. When the truth is out, will this once again be the case?

The first person who Arnav went to was Anjali, asking how she was, and then Khushi. As I've said many times, blood is thicker than water and Arnav's sister will always hold more importance in his life due to their troubled past. But one day I want Arnav to remember everything Khushi has done for him and put her first. In the inevitable face-off when he discovers about Anjali's secret rendezvous with Shyam, I really want him to give it to her good regarding all the crap he put Khushi through for her and to what degree Anjali betrayed his trust.

Shyam, have our plans ever succeeded? Go back to the party... Khao, piyo, aish karo aur dhol bhajao 😆

I want more ArHi romance before Khushi's alleged injury! I so badly want both of them dancing in the song sequence. & Khushi kissing Arnav 😳

Sorry for the not-so-thorough analysis people! As I said, I'm in a rush and I've already spent over an hour on it 😆

When I saw the title I could only think of Dadi & Garima...These are two extreme characters ...On the surface one is bold and another timid...One sacrificed her Grandchildren's life and retreated to Ashram...while the other sacrificed her life to raise two beautiful girls...

When these two opposite forces come in contact with each other leaving everyone 's life shattered ...the after effects of this consequence will take time to settle...but again after every closure there is an opening...a new life...a new hope...a new relationship...a new bond...a new respect...a new sacrifice...emerges...and a new meaning... built from the rubbles of the devastation...😊

While Arnav and Khushi are reliving the memories of the Mehandi ceremony NK gently reminds Khushi that he was responsible in getting her pati dev...corrects himself and states her future patidev to come down. She happily points out that its not just bringing him down that matters but also getting him to dance and apply Mehandi...is all she wants...Arnav who was listening to this conversation immediately points out that neither he will dance not he will apply Mehandi... Khushi makes an unhappy face...unable to see that he moves from that place...

Nk's statement today that he was the one who brought Arnav to khushi today makes me wonder whether he will be responsible for them meeting/being together when the past comes out. Correcting his own mistake... future Pati Dev...leaves me thinking will the wedding happen or not...In my opinion it shouldn't happen...but if they proceed with the wedding then I would like to see the reason... justified properly. I loved how Arnav leaves the place when he couldn't see Khushi's unhappy face. He just couldn't see her sad even if its for a simple reason. How will he take it when she crumbles down...with the past knocking their doors to show its presence...Will he be there to support her and hold her?
