Khushi made her way to the cabin on the first floor. It was all so nice and modern. She walked up the white staircase which lead straight to the boss's cabin. She knocked once. She waited a few seconds, until she heard a deep voice from inside beckoning her in.

Arnav: Come in...

She slowly clicked open the door and made her self comfortable on the leather chair. She might have looked strong and confident but inside she was crumbling. She was looking at the boss, who had his back to her. It seemed like he was reading a file, which seemed more important then the interview. She waited some time.

5 minutes later...

She was still sitting there.

10 minutes later...

Still no response from him. The silence was stretching on, and this was making Khushi agitated by the second.

Half an Hour Later...

Though the room was cool, the heat was getting to her cheeks. However, she still wanted to sound polite.

Khushi: Excuse me please...

Arnav: Yes...Miss. Gupta

Khushi: I am sorry...i think i came to wrong place, I thought my interview was going to be taken. (she said sarcastically)

Arnav: Oh it is...

Suddenly the chair swivelled around and she came face to face with THE ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA.

Khushi: Par...aap ne toh kuch questions bhi nahi puche?

Arnav: Koi zaroorat nahi hain...punchne ki...tumare kapde hi mujhe bata dete hain...ki tumari soch kaisi hain...you are not fit to be my secretary. Now if you excuse me...I have more important work to do...

Listening to this...Khushi lost it...

Khushi: How dare you? After waiting half an hour in your office...you have the audacity to tell me that you won't employ me. I may be middle class to you and my thinking may not be the same as yours...but I am sure that my work ethics would be much better than all the other girls that are sitting downstairs. I really needed this job, but now I don't want to work for anyone who judges people from their clothes. Good Bye...

She turned to leave, when again the strong voice stopped her from leaving.

Arnav: You think it is easy to work for me? You think that you can survive in this industry?

Arnav slowly got up and came to her, standing really close. He smirked. Khushi tried really hard to keep her voice even.

Khushi: Yess I do...

Arnav: Well then Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta...work with me for a week! If you can keep up, you can stay here and work as my PA...but if you decide to quit before the 7 days are over...then you must do what I tell you...understood...

Khushi: I haven't agreed yet...

Arnav: Oh but you will...!

He had that smirk again.

Arnav: Working with me...for 7 days will give you 30,000 and I think that is very valuable to you...!

Khushi: I value my self-respect Mr. Raizada more...so no thankyou...

Arnav: You saying that because your scared...like what will happen if you lose this challenge...what will I made you do?

Arnav again got close to her whispered...

Arnav: Why Miss. Gupta? Scared?

Khushi: Fine...where is the contract?

Arnav: Good...just sign here!

He shows her the contract. She hurrily signs it, without even reading it.

Arnav: You didn't even read the contract?

Khushi: I don't need to...you told me...what it was about!

Arnav: Hmm...good point made Miss. Gupta! But it is always good to read the contract...always to know what you are getting yourself into..!

Khushi: When do I start?

Arnav: You start Monday morning 9 am...I do not like late-comers. You are dismissed.

Arnav went around and sat back on his desk.

Khushi just left the cabin in a huff. She was so made about what just happened that she failed to see the mischevious smile on Arnav's face when she was leaving.

Khushi: Uhhh...why did I just do that? I was angry at him, thats why i signed the stupid contract. But what if he makes my life hell? He probably will...but i need 30,000...it will help the children at the orphanage...but still i could have easily got a job somewhere else...

Khushi was just inwardly arguing with herself, she even ignored samara.

Samara: Isse kya hua? Oh i really wanted her to get the job...! She did look really decent.
