Written Update - Aug 16, 2006

Rishab watching the TV sees Rahul and Kunal shaking hands and hugging, gets very angry, picks up something from the table and throw it at the TV and smashes the screen. Meera hears the sound and comes there worried asking what the matter. Raman also comes. Rishab lashes out on Rahul, and tells them how can they tolerate all such sort of behavior from Rahul.

Rahul and Priyanka also arrive. Rahul tells them that he has not done anything, and tells them that lets complete this talk, he asks Priya to go to the room. Priya leaves. Raman asks him how can he shake hands with the Kharbandas and hug Kunal in from of the media. Rishab tries to say something but Raman stops him. Rahul tells them that Kunal got reinstated and was proved innocent, and he is Priyankas elder brother, so we both went to congratulate him and nothing more should be read into this meeting.

Rishab tells him that there are certain principals of this house which need to be followed. Rahul tells them that he will not side with injustice and wrong doing at any cost. Rahuls says that Rishab should concentrate more on business rather than on enmity.

He shows Raman some papers and says that the share of Lamba Industries are going down day by day, why?. Raman gets angry on hearing the "why" with a upward motion of the hand he hits the papers in Rahuls hand and they fly all over the place. Raman tells Rahul that he has no right to question him or ask him for any sort of explanation. Rahul tells him that he is not questioning him, but he is just trying to point out Bhaiyas style of work. Raman protects Rishab. Rahul tells him why does he always become protective of Rishab.

Meera has a very hurt look on her face, and she recollects that the eldest son Rohan had also said something very similar to Raman, that he (Raman) is always becomes defensive of Rishab.

Meera is sitting alone when Raman comes in and asks her why is she sitting in the dark. She tells him that she saw Rohan today. Raman asks her where, she tells him right here in this house. She tells Raman that what happened between him and Rahul the same thing happened between him and Rohan. The way you scolded Rahul today because of Rishab the same thing you did with Rohan. She tells him that siding with Rishab caused distance between you and Rohan and now she is seeing the same thing happen with Rahul. Meera tells Raman that she again sees one more son leaving the house and tells him to stop that from happening again.

Raman ponders over Meera words, they keep going through his mind. He has tears in his eyes. He picks up the papers from the floor, sits down on the chair and goes through them.

Rishab is in his room, lost in his thoughts, his wife calls out to him, but he does not seem to hear her. She call out his name again, he comes back to reality and answers his wife. Anoushka tells him she would like to talk to him, rather discuss something with him. Rishab seems a bit irritated and tells her that always says these things, but never get around to discussing anything. He gets a call. Its Raman who asks him to come downstairs as he wants to discuss something.

Rishab goes downstairs. Raman is waiting for him, he has papers in his hand. Raman tells him that he has gone through the papers, Rishab tells in sort of an accusing tone that these are the same papers that Rahul had shown him earlier. Raman tells him that Rahul is also a son of this house, and that the shares of the company are going down, and also for Kunal's case he (Rishab) has spent a lot of money, so future strategy should be discussed.

Rishab retorts back that we just need to figure out the underlying cause, and that is Rishab Lamba, he tells Raman to give his position to the deserving one (does not mention Rahuls name), and gets up to leave. Meera is coming downstairs but sees father and son talking and stops midway.

Raman asks him to sit down and discuss. Rishab get angry, he tells Raman that when he took the company to the top, when he made a lot of profit for the company, at that time no one wanted to discuss his achievements. He tells his dad that now you want to discuss, that's not fair, not fair at all, and goes back to his room.

Raman is a bit taken aback by the attitude of Rishab. Meera comes to him and tells him that he has always treated Rishab with affection (laad pyar), no matter what he did you have always clapped for him, now when you are questioning him he is surprised by your behavior. Raman stops her from saying anything further and leaves.

Rahul is ready to leave for the office, Priyanka is still sleeping, he draws the curtain, kisses her, she wakes up and runs to the bathroom, comes out wiping her face. She tells Rahul its not what he is thinking its just food poisoning. They share some romantic moments and Rahul leaves for the office, Priya again feels nauseated, and thinks of consulting Anoushkas doctor.

She goes to Rishab's room, knocks on the door and asks for Anoushka, Rishab opens, she asks for Anou, but as usual he starts his taunting remarks on her and Kunal and she goes without saying why she came to see Anou.

The episode ends on Rishabs face. 😡
