'Finally you are awake'. Tara entered the room holding a glass in her hand. 'You can stay home today. You cant go to college when you are this weak'.

Piya didn't feel like attending classes either but she really wanted to see Abhay. 'I can handle it Tara. I'll get bored sitting home all day'.

Tara smiled knowingly. 'I thought as much. Drink this'.

'What it is?'.

'It will help heal your bruises quicker'.

Tara handed Piya the glass and turned to leave. Piya caught her hand to stop her. 'Tara, I understand why you hid the truth from me but you should have told me everything. You lied for my sake but that cost you your love and almost cost me mine. The pain you inflicted on yourself of getting separated from Vihaan was unnecessary'.

'Piya, I should have told you the truth but I couldn't. I was scared. They threatened to kill you if I told you anything. There is no questioning the Gangrel's power and certainly not at the cost of your life. I just wanted to keep you safe'.

Piya got up from the bed and hugged Tara. 'I am really lucky to have a sister like you. You are so much like mom. She always used to believe in playing safe. Good thing I am still there to keep the fun alive around here'.

Tara hit Piya playfully and their usual morning fight ensued.

Mount college

Piya looked around for Misha and Varun and finally found them sitting in the canteen. Varun seemed really upset. She looked at Misha questioningly. Misha gestured her to sit down. Piya sat down beside Varun and put her hand on his shoulder. 'Varun, is everything okay?'

'No Piya. Samarth is missing since last night. He never came home after college. Dad is really worried. He hasn't called Samarth's parents yet. The police are refusing to look into the matter because they can take action only if Samarth has been missing for 24 hours .

Piya had no idea how to tell Varun that Samarth is never coming back. His real cousin was killed long ago and no one knew where his body was buried. Misha tried to pacify Varun. 'Look, don't get so worked up. Maybe you are over reacting. Samarth could have stayed over at some friend's house and he might turn up in college today'.

Varun shook his head dejectedly. 'Misha, Samarth never stays over at his friend's house and even if he did, he would have told dad. I havent got a call from him since morning and he isnt picking up his cell. Do you really think I am getting worked up over nothing?'

Misha sighed. 'Look, I don't know what to tell you. Just hold out for a day okay. If Samarth doesn't show up in college, then we can go to the police'.

Piya nodded reassuringly though she knew what was coming. The bell rang for the first class. The students dispersed from the canteen. The 3 of them made their way to the class.

Abhay was waiting eagerly to see Piya. All the misunderstandings, the hatred, the games were over. After confessing his love for her the previous night, all the walls between them were gone. He took a sat in the last row, his favourite seat where he and Piya had spent half the semester fighting. He amused himself with all the past memories as he remembered the time Piya had stabbed his hand with a pencil because he was smirking at her. How everything had changed suddenly. The hatred turned into love without him even realizing when it happened. She was his Piya now. His love, his everything.

Varun and Misha entered the classroom just as the professor came along. Piya was right behind them. Abhay's breath caught up as he caught sight of her. She was as beautiful as an angel. He couldn't help staring. Piya moved towards the back of the class. He waited for her to come and sit beside him but Piya sat down beside Varun. Abhay's smile disappeared. What was Piya playing at? Why would she choose to sit with Varun? Abhay felt hurt but he dismissed the thought from his mind. He had waited for Piya long enough and didn't want such petty things to get in the way of their love. Abhay waited impatiently for the class to get over. He wanted to talk to Piya. After the class was over, he got up from his seat and it was then that he noticed Piya was holding Varun's hand in hers. He clenched his fists. Jealousy pulsated through him, making his blood boil. Piya moved out of the class with Varun and Misha without glancing back at him.

Abhay was very furious. How can piya ignore him.? he had to talk to her asap. He followed her only to witness piya and varun hugging. He clenched his fingers in fist. "how dare she?". He thought. "if that is how she wants to play then even two can play the same game", he smirked.

Piya wanted to meet abhay. she wasn't even able to see him properly. Varun needed her. she had to be with him. she looked around but couldn't find him. varun noticed it," piya? are you fine? whom are you searching for?"

Piya smiled," nothing. I am fine. varun go and grab something from canteen. You haven't eaten in the whole day. Misha go and help him"

Misha smiled mischieviously, " why? why are you so much worried for him?"

"misha!", piya glared.

Misha chuckled and pulled varun with her," cmon cry baby. Lets eat. I am hungry"

Piya searched abhay in the entire college. She could feel him. she knew he was around. she was wandering in the college premises when something caught her ears. She could hear a girl laughing loudly and then some voice. was it abhay? she walked towards the source and froze.

Piya witnessed abhay flirting with some girl and the same girl was all over him laughing. She couldn't move. Her heart broke watching him with another girl. Wasn't it yesterday when he confessed his love? Then what was he doing here? a tear rolled down her cheek. She wiped it immediately before anyone could notice.

"abhay! what are you doing?", piya yelled

Abhay saw piya glaring at him. "good", he thought. He smiled showing his dimples," what do you see piya? cant you see I am busy"

"abhay? why are talking like that?", piya asked

The girl had it enough," hey miss! Leave us alone will you? you are invading our privacy"

Piya was furious. She wanted to smack her but she controlled her anger. She looked at abhay who didn't even utter a word. She felt bad," if that is what you want abhay, then fine. I will leave you two alone". Again a tear rolled down her cheeks. She didn't bother to wipe it. she walked off.

Abhay knew it went little far. He was about to follow piya when the girl stopped him," where are you going? We are still left" she smiled seductively. Abhay rolled his eyes," not interested"

Piya was crying and ran towards girls washroom. She slammed the door making sure no one was around. she washed her face with water and wiped it," what does he think of himself? How could he do that to me? I hate him"

"but I love you", abhay snaked his arms around her waist hugging her back. Piya gasped. She struggled to get out of his grip but he held her waist more tightly," do you think you can win in this struggling game? Stop doing that"

Abhay kissed her cheeks but piya looked away. She was angry. Abhay smiled," will you not talk to me?" piya didn't answer. "you do know where we are right now?", abhay said. Suddenly piya realized she was in girls washroom alone with abhay," abhay! leave me."

"no", abhay said still not leaving piya.

"abhay anyone can walk in any minute", she reasoned.

"I don't care"

"what do you want?", piya asked hoping that now he will leave her.

Abhay turned her around making her face him. he held her waist tightly pulling her to him, "you!"

Piya involuntary wound her arms around his neck," abhay I am angry"

"really? doesn't seem so!", he chuckled

"I am really angry", piya said stubbornly

"so?"

"apologise" , piya said

"how?" abhay asked

"you are smart. I am sure you will figure out something", piya said playing with his shirt buttons.

Abhay smiled. He leaned towards her and kissed her forehead," I am sorry! am I forgiven?"

"no"

Abhay kissed her cheeks," now?"

"no"

He kissed her eyes and whispered,"now?"

"no"

He kissed her nose. Before abhay could ask piya said," no no no!!!"

"I am sure now I will be forgiven!", abhay leaned towards her lips brushing it lightly with his. Piya felt a jolt of electricity passing through her whole body. Suddenly, she pushed him forcefully away from him and tried to run away but abhay held her wrist," am I forgiven?"

"you already know that" piya smiled pulling her wrist and running away.
