merawallah mumbai...

Shruti Seth, actor

Roti

My favourite rasta food is: Paani-puri at Elco Arcade. It's really hygienic and their quality hasn't changed at all.

My favourite restaurant is: Mainland China in Andheri. It serves you quality food at affordable prices. Plus, it's quite close to my home.

My favourite nightspot is: Olive. It's sexy, stylish and the most chilled-out place in Mumbai. I can go there with a group of friends in absolute casuals or go there for a date looking gorgeous.

Most expensive meal I've had was at: Royal China, Fort. The only thing that came to the table was lobsters and crabs and a five-digit bill!

Most overpriced restaurant is: M Place at the Grand Hyatt, but the food is really nice restaurant with the most value for money is: Thai Ban, Bandra.

Kapda

I shop mostly at: Phat Fish, Potion 9, Azzure and Style Mantra.

My favourite rasta shopping area is: Fashion Street. It's good for casual gym wear and home clothes primarily because it's got the cheapest rates.

My favourite Indian designer is: Malini Ramani because I love the way she blends chic with boho.

The sale I never miss is at: Mango.

The most expensive thing I bought is: A red dress from Galleria, Bandra. It was an emergency situation, besides every girl deserves an expensive red dress!

The cheapest thing I bought is: A Rs 100 belt from the road.

The best bargains in Mumbai are available at: Colaba Causeway.

Makaan

My favourite area is: Carter Road mainly because I love the sea.

Heritage structures should be: Most certainly preserved better. Our past is the reason for our existence.

The one place that holds fondest memories for me is: St Xavier's College — the college I graduated from. Those were the best years of my life.

The most aesthetic structures are at: I'm very partial to St Xavier's College.

Mumbai's biggest eyesore is: The slums that dot ever corner of Mumbai. I wish I could get rid of them with a magic wand.
