Rajshri Thakur, aka Saloni of Zee TV's Saat Phere, will have to wait a little while longer before enjoying a life of marital bliss. Slated to marry her fianc Sanjot Vaidya in December 2006, the marriage has now postponed by two months. The wedding, which will be held in typical Maharashtrian style, will now take place in February 2007. The decision to postpone the wedding was taken after a meeting between both families last week. Mahurat call Rajshri says that they have chosen February, because it is more auspicious than December. "We had zeroed down on December, but failed to get a shubh mahurat in that month. February 2007 has a few auspicious days, but the final date is yet to be decided," she says, adding, "Hum dono aur hamari families bahut religious hain, aur vivah ke maamle mein shubh mahurat ko maante hain (We're very religious, and believe in having an auspicious day for our wedding)." So considering it's the month of February now, will the big day be Valentine's Day on February 14? Rajshri laughs, "I don't think so! Jo dates nikali hain, February 14 isn't there." Time off After getting married, Rajshri is determined to take a 15-day break from work. She says, "Saat Phere's production house is very understanding, and I am sure they'll have no problems. As for where we'll go for our honeymoon, we haven't decided as yet."Sanjot is a Marathi theatre actor-turned-businessman. The couple has been seeing each other for six years, after meeting in college, and got engaged on November 25, 2005. After marriage, Rajshri will shift in with her in-laws who live in Andheri. Rajshri presently resides in Dahisar.
