Hello everyone

First of all sincere apologies for not updating from such a long time'.Well I really need your opinion at this point of time'.

But before that, a big thanks to all of you who have supported me throughout my journey of writing'..I have no words to express what I feel when you guys shower immense love on me'.Now coming to the main point'..

Well I have my joining coming up very soon in a newspaper that has changed my scheduled completely'.I have odd working hours for my job and above all I am shifting to another place which will leaves me with limited time to come here on IF'.Yes I agree that its difficult for me as well'..but this is where I need your guys help'

I am left with two options'..either to quit all my FF's I am writing here itself'..or you people will have to wait till I get time for updating'.I am already up with three FF's and even I don't feel like leaving them in between'.

If you guys can bear with me...I will surely update all my FF's for you'I agree it will be difficult in the beginning but as soon as I am acquainted with the working conditions I will try and manage things...else I stand by my own decision to quit all of them...

She handover a packet to maan and leaves from their bidding a final goodbye to him

Maan: kya main isse kismat ka koi ishara samjhu? [Should I think this as some signal of destiny for me?]

He takes the packet and leaves for his home….he was curious to open the packet but at the same time the rituals of his sister's marriage forced him to return back home as soon as possible without even opening the gift…geet at the same time was restless but the reason was unknown to her…

Geet: maan ko mera diya gift pasand to ayega na? [Will maan like the gift I gave him??]

Geet: muje ye kya ho raha hai….aise to kabhi bhi nahin hua mere saath….kyu ek ajeeb si bechaini ho rahi hai muje….babaji sab thik karna…[what is happening to me? This has never happened with me before….its a strange feeling um going through….god I hope everything goes fine…]

After sometime maan reached back home….he straightaway went to his room to change and took the gift alongwith him in a way that remained unnoticed to everyone….

Maan: aisa karta hu cupboard mein jakar rakh deta hu…function ke khatam hote hi isse check karunga…..[I ll keep it safely in my cupboard….as soon as function finishes I will check it…]

He keeps it safely in the drawer and locks the keys and finally moves to attend the rituals….on the other hand geet reached her hometown delhi…her brother lucky came in to pick her up….

Geet: lucky bauji ki tabiyat thik to hai na? [Lucky is dad's health fine?]

Lucky: ji di bas leg fracture hai or kuch mamuli si chote hai…doctor ne bola ghabrane ki koi baat nahin….[yes di everything is fine…he has got his leg fractured and there are some minor injuries….doctore said there is nothing to worry about…]

Geet: shukar hai babaji ka…[thank god…]

Geet: bauji bhi na…pata nahin kaha dhyan rehta hai….apne kaam se free hue nahin ki ghar aane ki jaldi….babaji ki badi kripa hai ki zyada chot ni aayi….chal jaldi ghar chalein…[Dad doesnot care for himself….dont know what is wrong with him…never cares for himself …work just finishes and he is ready to fly back….glad that he is fine….lets proceed towards home….]

Both of them leave….Here at Khurana Mansion, mehandi ceremony is on…Maan was unable to concentrate….Mayank and Dev also came in alongwith few other college friends of Maan….Nupur and Meera also got company as they all met after a long time….

Mayank: kitna acha lag raha hai na aaj hum sab wapis ek saath…bachpan yaad aa gya yar….[it feels so nice…all of us meeting after a long time…all memories are back…]

Meera: right….bas geet hi nahin hai….[right…missing geet…]

Dev: geet hi nahin maan bhi…aaye to hum maan ke ghar pe hai par aisa lag hi nahin raha maan yaha hokar bhi hum logon ke saath nahin hai…[not only geet maan also…all of us have come to his place but he is still not with us…]

Mayank: ye baat to bilkul thik hai yar….maan aaj bhi kahin khoya sa hai….[right….maan is lost somewhere…]

Nupur: chod yar kis behes mein pad gayee…chal meera hum bhi jakar mehandi lagwate hai na…[leave it guys….lets go meera we will also put mehandi on our hands?]

In Delhi:

Mohinder: puttar tuje itni dur se aane ki kya zarurat thi..main ekdum thik hu? [Geet there was no need for you to come…I am fine…]

Geet: ji bauji dekh rahi hu ki aap kitna cha feel kar rahein hai….[yes dad I can see how good you are feeling right now?]

Mohinder: sach mein puttar main ekdum thi hu…[I am perfectly fine geet..]

Geet: bauji aap jaante hai na ki aapki geet ko chain nahin milta jab tak vo aapko dekh na leti…[dad u know I wudnt have felt good without seeing you…]

Mohinder: tabhi to main bolta hu ki tu mera puttar hai vo bhi sabse pyara….waise rano bata rahi thi ki tu kisi shaadi pe gayi thi…[that is why I say u my son….and the best one….Rano was telling you went for someone's marriage?]

Geet: ji bauji par main attend nahin kar payi…..pehle hi aa gyai…[yes dad…but I couldn't attend…came early…]

Rano: agar baap beti ki baatein khatam ho gayi ho to thora dhyan mujpe bhi de do….main bhi aap dono ki kuch lagti hu….[if the talk between you too has ended….so you can focus on me also….even I am something to you..]

Geet goes and hugs her….all of them had a great time….on the other hand…..the mehandi rituals ended up….Maan was already restless to go quickly in his room and open the gift….but he couldn't…

Daadima: kya baat hai maan sab thik to hai na? [What happned maan?]

Maan: daadima vo sir mein thora dard hai….[grandma I have headache….]

Daadima: aap aisa kijiye thori der aaram kar lijiye subah se aapne apni taraf dhyan bhi nahin dia chaliye jaiye….[you do one thing go and rest for a while…you haven't taken care of yourself since morning….go now…]

Maan: par daadima yaha par…[but grandma here…]

Daadima: abhi apki koi zarurat nahin jaise hi hogi hum apko awaz de lenge…aap jaiye….[there is no need …if I do ll call you…go and rest now…]

Maan(self-thought): sorry daadima maine apse jooth bola….[sorry grandma I lied…]

He leaves for his room…locks the door and straightaway takes the gift out….on the other hand….geet's family asks her to take rest for a while as she might also be tired from the entire journey…

Maan: geet tumse ache se baat bhi nahin ho paayi….[geet couldnot talk to you properly …]

Here geet was also in the same dilemma …

Geet: maan maine socha tha tumse apni galatiyon ke liye maafi maag lungi par aisa bhi nahin hua….[maan I thought I would ask forgiveness from you….but even that did not happen…]

Geet: babaji se bas yahi dua hai ki vo muje ek mauka de de bas…[I just pray to god that he gives me just one chance…]

Maan finally opens the packet….his heart beat increased while opening it but as soon he opened the gift ….his eyes couldn't believe…yes it was a photo frame with Maan and geet's school pic….the days they spent together…finally geet realized what mistake she had made in her life…she wanted her best friend back…With the frame she also gave him a bracelet with FRIENDS FOREVER written on it…

Maan was on cloud nine now…..his happiness had no bounds….he had never expected such a great turn around in his life and that too geet now realizing the importance of that sweet bond both of them shared….

Alongwith the gifts there was a card for him- A Sorry Card….. Geet had written a few words for him on the same…

"I know I don't deserve forgiveness but it's a ray of hope I look forward to….I need just once chance to set back all the things….Want my best friend back in life…."

Maan had never thought of it…..yes his geet wants to set things right now….his happiness had no bounds…he did not knew with whom he should share his emotions….everything was going his way….yes Maan Singh Khurana was finally back….his happiness, his cheerful and bubbly sense started coming back…the change was in minutes…he did not knew how to react…first he did was tied the bracelet on his hand.

Maan: Geet tum nahin jaanti tumne muje kitni badi khushi di hai….samaj nahin aata tumhe kya kahu….thanku geet…[Geet u don't know what happiness have u given me…don't know what do I say….Thanks Geet…]

He was all in his thoughts when his friends started banging the door….he safely kept the gifts in his almirah kissed his bracelet and opened the door….it was dev, mayank, nupur and meera who had come to meet up..

Dev: kya maan hum tere ghar aaye or tu hai ki aaram kar raha hai….tuje bhul gaya hai to yaad kara deta hu ki hum sab teri hi behen ki shaadi mein aaye hai…[What is this maan….we guys came to ur place and you taking rest…if you have forgotten to ll make u remember that its your sisters marriage nad we guys ahave been invited for the same…]

Maan: muje yaad hai yar sab bas thori tabiyat thik nahin thi…par ab main ekdum thik hu[I know yar…its just that I was not feeling well….but now I am fine…]

Nupur: chalo ye to acha hai...[its good…]

Maan: waise tum sab ne kuch khaya ya nahin…[did you people had something…?]

Mayank: khaya? Ye puch kuch choda ya nahin…agar aise hi hum ek do din yaha rahein to tere ghar ka saara raashan to hum hi khatam kar denge yar….[Eaten? Just aske did we people leave something..if we continue to stay for another two days…all your household thong will be empty..]

Maan: aisa kuch nahin hai yar…tum aaram se enjoy karo…[its nothing like that…you guys enjoy..]

Meera: yar hum sab ke beech bas geet ki kami hai…kaash vo bhi hum sabke saath hoti..[guys its just geet who is missing….it wud have been great if she was wid us…]

Maan(self-thought, looks at the bracelet): Geet aaj mere saath na hokar bhi mere kareeb hai…[Geet is there wid me today despite of her absence ]

Dev: arrey maan ye to bata tu joining kab de raha hai…[Maan just tell when are u joining…]

Maan: yar bas di ki shaadi ke baad hi…abhi muje confusion hai ki main kis company mein join karu…do companies se call hai…kuch nahin samaj aa raha…[As soon as possible after Di's marriage….I am still confused….i got a call from two companies….unable to undertsnad where should I go?]

Mayank: Maan singh Khurana or confused..? [Maan Singh Khurana and confused?]

Meera: maan kaunsi companies se call aayi tumhe? [Where did you get calls from ?]

Maan: Infosys Technologies and IBM

Meera: Arrey Geet ko bhi Infosys se call aayi hai yar….[even geet has got a call from Infosys..]

Maan was the happiest person to know about this….His day came out with loads of surprises…..😳😳😳

Precap: Maan: Meera Geet ko ye pata nahin chalna chahiye ki hum dono ek company mein kaam karne walein hai…please…[Meera please keep it a secret…Geet shouldn't know that both of us are going to work in the same company…]
