Hello JDJ'ians!

Here we go with the update for today!

Manish and Ragini come out with Manish in a suit and Ragini in a bottle green anarkali dress. They dance to two songs: "Kambhe Jaisi Khadi Hai' and 'Dil Mein Hai Toofan Bada'. They showed a playful nok jhok/fight between the two in the dance and it was cute but not exactly very good in terms of dance 😆 All the contestants in the Hawa Mahel were having fun dancing among themselves as Manish and Ragini danced. Remo tells Manish that it was a superb performance and he would like to give him a score of... 1. Manish says put a Diwakar after that also (Since Diwakar is bald and his head is like a zero) 🤣 Karan tells Ragini that he has no points to give as it was a pointless performance. 😆 Madhuri says it is a tie... which Manish has not worn 😛

FIRST PERFORMANCE: Ravi Kissen with Niraj Shreedhar

STYLE: Salsa

SONG: Kya Soorat Hai Kya Soorat Hai / Tum Mile / Prem ki Naiyya

AV is shown of the challenge that Ravi was given to perform to live singing by Niraj. Ravi's partner tells Niraj they want to sing the song Mere Saamne Waali Khidki Mein and Niraj would be playing the original role of Kishore Kumar. Niraj requests Ravi to also sing.

Act starts with Ravi and Kunjan at windows facing each other. Ravi starts singing to Kunjan to flirt with her but he does it in a rap style and Kunjan shuts her window on him. Then Niraj comes in saying to try to flirt with Kunjan in his style. Niraj starts singing and Ravi and Kunjan dance in salsa style. The performance was good...although I dont think the singing was live... it sounded pre-recorded 😛(IMO Kunjan is not using Ravi's full potential. Another point to be noted was this was a salsa act and she was wearing flats...) The dance was quite good though... especially the lifts. I think they just need polishing and to make their acts cleaner with better finish 😊

JUDGES COMMENTS:

Remo compliments Niraj on hi singing and says he is a big fan. He tells Ravi and Kunjan that he loved their salsa portion the most but where the bollywood portion came in, they were a little weak there. He especially liked one lift they did which was a combination of a couple different ones.

Madhuri says whenever Ravi performs there is always masala and there is always a certain energy as soon as he comes. She compliments the concept. Madhuri tells Niraj 'tumhi ho bandhu, tumhi saka ho'. Niraj says he was waiting for a compliment from her 😳

Karan thanks Niraj for coming. He compliments the integration of the singer into the act. Karan compliments the entertainment quotient in the performance as well as expressions.

When the act finishes Ravi requests Niraj to sing a few lines for his little son Saksham. Saksham comes on stage and Manish asks him how he liked his fathers dance but the kid looks really scared and barely says anything but when Manish asks him again he shakes his head a no... and Manish says 'bache mann ke sache' 😆 Niraj sings 'Tumhi ho Bandhu' for him. 😊
