Hi Ashley,
I'm a big fan of ur vms and was really excited to watch the trailer of this ff. it was amazing and has a unique concept. Read the first chapter 👏 and I'm just eager to see how the story unfolds. Plz do pm me when u next update and thank u for this wonderful ff as I still really miss ccbm and NivRen and love anything to do with them.

hi ashley,

what an awesome trailer.i'm a big fan of ur vm's.i liked ur concept very much and u brought manvi and inder chachu that's great.read the first chapter it was just superb.i'm just eager to see how the story unfolds.miss ccbm and miss nivren so much.

Chapter 2

Finally the evening arrived. Bhuvan was excited to reach home and meet his big family. He had some plans about his future and wanted to discuss with his father as soon as possible. He was surprised to know that within an hour of his return, a party was going to start in his honor.

" Bauji, what was the need of party and all ? I just wanted to spend my first day back with the family. " said Bhuvan feeling bit uncomfortable.

" You have a long time to spend with the family. I want the whole Shimla to know that my dear son is back. " replied a proud BS.

" As you wish Bauji. But I need to talk to you about some important matters. "

" We can discuss all serious things later. Now its time for happiness and celebrations. "

Bhuvan sighed, " Ok then. I'll get ready for the party. "

There was no way he was going to disappoint his father. But he couldn't wait to have the talk. This was something that was going to affect his whole life.

' Well, few hours of waiting is not going to hurt, is it? '

The Sharmas and Khuranas were already downstairs when Bhuvan came down with Jawahar. BS introduced him to many business partners and acquaintances that Bhuvan started to forget even the faces. He was getting bored and managed to escape to a corner. He watched his father talking proudly about him to everyone and the other elders managing the guests. His gaze turned to his friend and their brothers. Jawahar was explaining something to Pratap while Keshav was …dreaming? Something was fishy and he intended to find out the "culprit". His thought train was broken when someone poked him softly. He turned to see a nervous girl near him.

" Do you need anything ? " he asked politely. She looked familiar to him and he was wondering who it was.

" Hmm… I was looking for an old friend. Did you see him anywhere ? " she replied bit upset. Her eyes started to get teary and then it clicked him.

" Gudiya ??!! Oh my God.. I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you. " he said worriedly. If her waterworks started, both the mothers will chase him around the house.

" I mean, not that I forgot you. Its just that you have turned into such a beauty. " he tried to do some damage control. It worked to his relief.

" You think so ? " she asked blushing.

He was surprised to see her blushing. ' When did she start blushing around me ? Does she do it around the other three too ? I need to grill Keshav on this.'

" Hey lovebirds, what's up ? " came Keshav out of nowhere.

" Keshav ..!! " said a shocked Bhuvan while Gudiya blushed more. Something was wrong, Bhuvan could feel it. But he couldn't pinpoint it.

' And what was Keshav doing pairing him with her? '

Before he could drag away Keshav to question his statement, BS called the attention of everyone. He called Bhuvan to stage and he had to go up keeping the interrogation in pending.

" I'm proud to tell you all that my elder son Bhuvan had finally returned home after doing his MBA abroad. Now he will take over the control of my business while I can retire slowly. But before that, as some of you have guessed, its time for his marriage."

Bhuvan could see a red flag. ' What was this sudden announcement of my marriage ? Did Keshav mean about this ? Gudiya ??!! No..!! '

Before he completed his thought in shock, he heard the next statement of his father.

" I'm happy to announce the engagement of my son Bhuvan with my friend Anupam's daughter."

Bhuvan felt the ground slipping beneath his feet. ' No.. No way.. This is all wrong. It cannot be. I'm sure this is a nightmare. How can father decide this without even talking to me ? '

Keshav noticed his best friend turning pale as soon as the engagement was announced. ' Why is he so worried? I thought he liked Gudiya. Does that mean he…? I should talk to him as soon as possible.'

' This is not good.' He noticed Bhuvan was about to say something. He interrupted the gathering, saying " Enough of announcements. This is a celebration party. Let's celebrate now. "

" Oh yes, he's right. Let's have double celebrations now. " said a happy BS, winding up his announcements.

Bhuvan looked at Keshav dangerously, who ignored it and dragged him away from the hall.
