Part 1

She was in her room; trying to study for her tomorrow's quiz ..
She is trying since 3 hours to concentrate in her study, but she failed..
She heard her sister Sonu shouting , as if something happened to her !
Khushi looked at the clock , It was 11:58 .. She rolled her eyes, and smiled ! She knew that its a plan to drag her to her room, and she will go their and open the door to see a dark room, then Sonu & her mother will "surprise" her.. and they will celebrate her 22nd birthday ..

She leaved her room, and moved toward Sonu's room, she tried to hide her knowing smile and pretended that she don't know their plan .. She opened the door, and as she predict.. the light was off, and as she entered.. they turn the light on, and they singed to her " Happy birthday to you" .. She cut the cake and they gave her her birthday presents .. They spent a nice together, before Khushi returned back to her room to continue her study.. and Sonu & Her mother went to sleep..

She entered her room .. She felt better after the time she spent with her family .. Although she expect them to do that, and actually it was not a surprise, but she was better after that time.. She prayed to God to make them always together and to achieve her mother and her sister dreams ..

Her Phone interrupts her prayer .. She moved to her phone .. She saw a strange number .. She wondered, who will called her in this time ?! .. She answerd ..

Khushi: "Hello"
... : " I'm waiting for you in front of your house .. come .. quickly "
the caller say that and ended the call without waiting for her response..

Khushi recognized the caller .. and ?ow she cannot ! .. he is the one who takes and occupied her mind completely..

Khushi thoughts to her self sadly " I told him to stay away from me , but he didn't .. why he cannot understand that I cannot be what he want me to be .. why he cannot understand that its better for me and for him" .. before a tear dropped from her eyes .. she became angry as she remembered his call " He commanded me ! and he cut the call before hearing my replay! let him wait as much as he want .. I will not come down" ..

She sat on her chair and tried to study, but she couldn't ..
She start walking in her room back and forth .. all her thought in Arnav .. Why he is in front of her house, and what he wants ..
She hesitantly walked to the window, and moved the curtain to see him .. She saw him leaned against his car , and he looked at his watch irritated - from her lateness - .. after few moment he raised his head just to make the time pass.. he saw her looking at him from the window ..
He toke few steps forward to see her clearer , while she immediately returned the curtain back to hide herself from him ..

Arnav patient about to end now .. he tried to call her again .. but she didn't answer .. he called her two more times , but also, she didn't answer Which make Arnav very angry but insisted to make her came down ..
He decide to send to her a SMS ..

Khushi was resisting her curious to see what Arnav was doing now, and if he leave after ignoring his calls, but she didn't ! She didn't want him to see her again looking at him ..
She heard the message tone .. she opened the message and read it

" Come down, or I will come inside your house .. you have 3 minutes to decide "

Khushi opened her eyes , and moved the curtain to see what he is doing.. She saw him looking at his watch and he is standing near the bell .. She felt that he is serious , and she know very well that he can do anything ..

She toke a deep breath then clutched her teeth and walked out of her room , and went down to meet him ..

Part 2

She opened the door , and she saw him folded his hand, and he looked angry.. She too was angry ..
They spent few moment staring at each other angrily till Khushi sighed asked him : " I told you to leave me alone ... What you want ?!"

Arnav remember why he is here and he was impressed, he didn't know what he should say and how to give her the gift .. for a moment, he wished if he send the gift as a parcel ..

Arnav moved toward his car and toke the box and returned back to her : : " ermm .. I came to know that today is your birthday .. so I thought ... "..

Khushi was surprised .. how he knew about her birthday?!, why he didn't wait till he saw her in the office and give her the gift ?!, and what would he probably gifted her ! ..

He handed her the box without saying anything .. she hesitantly toke the box .. and whispered: " Thank you"
She waited some moment before returned back to her house , as if she was waiting him to say something, and when he didn't .. she entered, and looked at him for the last time, and then she closed the door and returned back inside her house..

Arnav smiled and he wished that tomorrow her will see her smile again .. then he moved toward his car to leave to his apartment ..

Khushi entered her room and put the box in her bed .. She look at the box.. she tried to forget all her fears from Arnav and their relationship, and consider this gift as any other gifts that she reserved from anyone in her birthday ..
She was expecting something typical .. bag, watch, perfume, dress .. etc .. However, she was very curious to see his gift..

She opened the box , and she saw an envelope and something red looks like a dress or something similar ..
She toke the envelope and opened it .. it was a three spa's tickets ..
She remember there beach walk in Vegas when she told him why she didn't go with the ladies to the spa ..
Her heart's pulse increased as she remembered these moments , and a tear threaten to fall ..

She leaved the the tickets and toke the red thing .. It was a simple yet beautiful red Saree, and it was decent comparing to the Saree that she decided to wear in the press conference ..
She remembered how he made her changing that Saree ..

" Is he wanted to remind me of these moments ?! Did he know that I don't need any reminder because all these moments keep replaying in my mind !" she closed her eyes tightly for few second before open it again to notice that there is something else in the box ..

She looked inside the box to figure out, what was that .. She saw a file .. She was wondering what will be in the file !
She toke it from the box and opened it .. She read what was written in it ..
After reading it .. she couldn't prevent few tears from falling ..
She closed the file, and toke her phone to call him ..

Arnav was in his car .. he heard his phone ranging ..
He red Khushi's name in the screen .. and he immediately answered ..
Arnav: " Khushi?!"
Khushi couldn't say anything..
Arnav: " Khushi ?! What happened ?!"
Khushi toke a deep breath and said : " Can.. Can you come to the park .. which is near my house ?!.."
Arnav: "Now ?! .. ermmm ... of course I can ,, but Why ?!.."
Khushi: " please .. come !"
Arnav: "Ok .. few minutes and I will be there "

many thing crossed his mind .. will she returned the gift back since she wanted to continue avoiding him ?! or will she will thank him , but if she want that she can wait till tomorrow .. or may she called for something else not related to the gift !!
He was distracted and curious to know what she want ! ..

Part 3

She was in the park which was empty since it was 1 am ..
She felt a hand on her shoulder and she knew it was Arnav's .. she turned to face him ..
Arnav looked very concerned : " Khushi ... What happened?! .. Why you want to meet me here .. and why .. why these tears !"

as he finished his sentence, he felt something dipping in his chest..
he was surprised .. Khushi was hugging him very tightly and she was crying.. for few moment,he couldn't react as a result of surprise .. and he felt a pinch in his heart as he thought that something bad happened to her snf made her cry ..
Arnav caressed Khushi's back softly, then hugged her back without asking her further questions .. he just wanted her to calm her down now ..
Their hearts' beats was heard .. Arnav loved the feeling and wished if she will stay between his arms forever.. and Khushi felt of comfort that she didn't feel the since long time..

few minutes later ..
Khushi calmed down .. she pulled back from him slowly, and she wiped her remaining tears ..
she toke a few steps back and she was shy after she realized that she was in his embrace ..

Khushi: " S.. Sorry "
Arnav looked at her wondering why she is apologized : " For what ?!"
Khushi: " For .. For hugging you "

Arnav couldn't prevent a small smile from playing on his lip! " she is very stupid .. apologizing for hugging me ?! " he thought of teasing her , but he remembered that there something with her that he should figure out

Arnav: " Its OK ... Now tell me .. why called me here, and why you was crying ?! "

Khushi looked down .. She didn't know what to tell him exactly ! She called him because she was affected after reading what was in the file ..his caring & knowing what will make her happy with out any word from her affected her a lot .. and she just needed him .. needed to see him ..

She never thought that this man who she met 2 months ago, and was irritating her, will know how to make her happy , he cared about her & her family's member too .. and he knowhow to win her heart again & again, even if she tried her best to not !

Khushi shyly: " ermmm .. I just .. I just saw Sonu's scholarship file .. that was in the box ... and .. and I wanted to thank you ... but you did't have to do that ... The .. the Spa & the saree was enough"

Arnav was relived to hear that, so nothing bad happened to her .. he smirk and said : " I do whatever I want"
She raised her face and looked at him with opened eyes .. she saw him smirking ..

Khushi: " I'm serious .. I never heard that AR group gave a scholarships .. if it was only for me, I .. I mean only for my sister it .."
Arnav folded his hands, and interrupt her : " Its not only for you .. well , I cannot deny that.. that you was my motivate.. but I decide that AR group will start to give many superior students scholarships .. "

Khushi stared at him for few moments .. and he also do the same ..

Khushi shyly : " Thank you .. Arnav .. for .. for every thing "
Arnav smiled : " you are welcome "

After many seconds of silence between them .. Khushi Said: " Ermm .. I Should go now .. T .. Thanks for coming and sorry if I disturbed you !"
She was about to walk away, when Arnav held her hand .. Khushi turned and looked at him ..
Arnav: " Khushi ... I want to say something "
Khushi's heart started beating very fast
Khushi: " W.. What you want to say ?!"

Arnav didn't say that since long time, the gift was always enough in any birthday, but today he wanted to wish Khushi happy birthday , but he didn't know why he have a diffeculty to say that.. he was looking every where except her eyes ..

Arnav: " ermmm .. Actually .. I wanted to say .. ermmm ... H.. H.. Happy birthday "

He still didn't look at her till he heard the beautiful laughter!
He looked at her and saw her laughing .. Arnav was hoping to see her smile , and now she is laughing .. but he didn't like that she is laughing at him, after saying happy birthday for the first time since many years ..

Arnav angrily : " Did I said a jock ?!"
Khushi put her hand over her mouth to hide her laughter and Said : " Sorry .. But .. but if you looks at yourself when you said happy birthday" She laugh again .. " You looks as if you .. I don't know .. but it was funny " she laugh again louder ! ..

Arnav was embarrassed , she mocked him !

He toke few step toward her, but he controlled himself and turned and walked away from her toward his car ..

Khushi felt bad that she make him angry, while he was wishing her happy birthday .. she followed him ..
Khushi: " Arnav ... Arnav"
Arnav ignored her and continued walking away ..
Khushi walked faster and she held his hand .. he stopped and turned to her but not looking at her ..
Khushi looked at his angry face .. he looked very cute when he is angry like that .. She wanted to smile but she controlled herself to not to smile ..
Khushi: " I'm sorry "
Arnav didn't replay, nor looking at her
Khushi again louder : " I'm sorry !"
still no response from Arnav's side ..

She rolled her eyes .. and toke a deep breath .. She cupped his face and moved his face to forced him to look at her
She said softly : " I'm sorry Arnav .. I didn't mean to make you Angry "
She was unconsciously fondle his cheeks and stubble lightly by her finger tips which make Arnav lost in that sense .. he put his hand over her hand and squeeze it softly ..

Khushi: " Did you forgave me?!"
Arnav nodded and said: " You made me angry by laughing at me .. but .. I'm happy that you laugh and looks happy , again ... I wish that you always be like that "

Khushi heart was saying" If there someone like you in my life, how I could not be happy ! " .. She pulled her hands while she was still staring at him .. her heart full of happiness .. not only because her sister got an scholarship and one of her worries solved .. but also for many things else she didn't know exactly why .. but this moment that she spent with him with out the limits that she put between them made her feels happy ..

she turned and was about to walk away from him , but she couldn't resist her want to look at him again .. she turned and saw him, his gazes were focus on her, and he was smiling .. She toke several step to close the distance between them .. and she printed a quick kiss in his lips and quickly runaway before he could realize what happened .. !

Part 4

She closed her room door, and cleaned her back against it .. she closed her eyes and breathed heavily as she remembered from what she have done few minutes back !
She didn't know how she did that .. all she know that she kissed him !

She heard her phone rang , she checked and it was Arnav number .. She didn't answer him .. she thought that he will ask her about what she did .. and she didn't have an answer to her self to give him an answer !

She remembered the last three days that she avoided him, and how sad and depressed she was ..
and she remembered the few minutes that she spend with him , and how happy and comfortable she was ..
She realize that being with him caused to her happiness & comfort , despite of her previous thought that being with him will cause to her sadness and wounds ..

" Why I prevent my self & him from happiness just for an assumption that may be wrong? ... but ... all isn't my dad too was good and a perfect husband before he did what he did !" .. she couldn't prevent her self from crying as she remembered what happened to her mother 10 years ago ..

She shake her head .. She didn't wanted to spoil her mood by remembering the bad things that faced her mother because of her father .. and she will not her father ruined her life as he did with her mother !!

She will not prevent her self from Arnav and happiness .. Her heart tell her that Arnav is different, and she will give her heart a chance for the first time, and she will resist her fears as she can ! she decided .!.

Arnav was lying in his bed, remembering his and Khushi's moments together .. How she was laughing , how she looked happy , and how she shocked him by her " quick sudden kiss " that he never expect that soon .. that kiss that made him static in his place for at least 3 minutes before he could realize what she did ..
he wished if he realize that she was kissing him before she run away .. he would not let her go so fast .. he will show her a real kiss !..

He couldn't sleep .. and how he could !?
The thought of Khushi didn't leave him a single moment .. he didn't know what he should do now .. move to the next step .. or pretend that nothing happened till he make sure of why she did that ! !

after a lot of elaborating and thinking .. he decided to wait before moving to the next step .. because He thought that maybe what she did was under the effect of grateful ..
Yes , he was sure that she have a feeling for him .. but he want her to realize and accept that without any pressures & forces ..

The next day ..

Khushi was different that the last three day .. and that was noticeable by her friends ..
They were walking when Khushi saw Arnav walking in front of them talking in his phone ..
Liza & Ishu were busy discussing something they didn't understood before the quiz ..
In the other hand, Khushi and Arnav was busy in staring at each other .. Arnav eyes never moved his eyes from Khushi , while Khushi was blushing as she remembered what she did , and she downed her face shyly from time to time .. they was like that tell Ishu tried to involve Khushi in their discussion ..

and of course their curious friends didn't miss that Arnav and Khushi were staring at each other before they interrupt their eye-look ..

Ishu leave Khushi and Liza as she said that she have an important thing to do ..

Khushi: " What is this important thing that Ishu leave us for ?"
Liza: " She went to prepare her self for her date !"
Khushi: " Date ?! .. She is dating ?!! since when ?! and who is she dating ?! and why she didn't me !"
Liza hitts her forehead : " Oh my Gad .. You want me to answer all these question?! .. I don't have a time to answer all these .. I want to review for the quiz now"
Khushi: " At least tell me why she didn't tell me that ?!"
Liza laughed : " Of course because she didn't want to heard your famouse lecture about men and their deception .. "
She raised her eye brow and continued : " By the way .. since when you became interested in these details .. you always start your lecture without waiting to know how, when, and who ! .. It seems like something is changing !"

Khushi : " No thing like that .. I just got bored from repeating and repeating with out any result on you "
Liza : " So you still think that all men are cheaters and lairs ?!"

Khushi couldn't say lie and say yes .. : " Didn't you said that you didn't have a time and want to review for the quiz .. so shut up and review ".. she too take her book and pretended that she is studying ..

Khushi was curious to know who IShu is dating : " Liza .. tell me who is she dating ?!"
Liza: " Aman .. I think you know him .. he is Arnav Singh Raizada's friend !"

Part 5

Khushi was in her office When Arnav's Secretary informed her that Arnav wanted her in his office ..
Khushi heart pules increased .. this will be the first time that they will be alone after what she did yesterday ..
She was exited, but in the same time scared .. she was scared from the future consequence of her yesterday decision ..
She toke a deep breath, tried to dismiss her fears, and walked toward Arnav's office ..

She knocked the door, and entered .. She saw him busy with his laptop .. but when he saw her he closed it, and told her to set ..

Arnav: " Do you remember Mr & Mrs Jones ?! .. The couple that we met in the wedding that we attended together .."
Khushi: " Ermmm .. Ya I remember them .."
Arnav: " Good .. Mr Jones called me , and he invited me to their marriage anniversary which will be tomorrow, and he was insist that I should bring my girl friend , which is .. you, with me ... So , I just informed you , to know you want to attend the party or not !"

Khushi didn't utter a word .. she was waiting for him to convince her to go with him with any excuse .. for example, that if she didn't came , Karan and his father may doubt about their relationship and will try to irritate her again .. or saying anything else which will make her agree to go without looking that she herself want to go .. but he didn't ..

after a while Arnav Spoke : " Ermmm .. I think you didn't decide yet .. no problem Khushi .. you have a time to decide till tomorrow .. I will send the party place and the other details to you, so that if you decided to go you can"

Khushi was in her office .. very disappointed ! .. Their meeting was very cold .. he act as if she didn't kissed him last night .. as if he not the naughty Arnav that always came close to her and make her lose her sense by his touches and smirk .. and above of that , She was happy when she heard about the party, and she want to go with him .. but he didn't insist to her to attend the party with him, and he didn't create any excuse that will force her to go like what he did before ! ..

Arnav badly want Khushi to go with him .. but he intentionally didn't make her feel that she is forced to attend for any reason ,expect that she want to !
He wanted to know and make sure that she want to go with him, as his girl friend .. So that he can know if she accepted her feeling and she didn't regret yesterday's kiss .. or it was under the effect of grateful ... and she still hesitate and not ready to accept her feelings ..

He will know all that tomorrow ..

It was great and the best thing is that it was really long.

Im glad that khushi is giving a chance to arnav but she needs to say it so that arnav realises that she too loves him.

Only if arnav said more to her and forced her to go to the party then they would know how the other feels.

I hope she does go to the party and they both confess their feelings towatds each other.
