Well well atlast the day is here :D Its Rajat Tokas's bday :D 21st bday.
First off-HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAJAT!
I am in a good mood today-for god knows what reason :p but yes mainly bcoz im thrilled as i got to see Rajat's interview today after eons!
So,this update is all about my baby,Rajat Tokas <3 I have been this crazy fan of his since i was 13 :D was in high skul and he was like this biggest thing ever!
PRC was an epic show.Period.And Rajat played a huge role in making it such a big success!Who can forget that epicness?He was so good in that show!ki what do i say!Until Rajat,all child actors were given petty roles of dumb characters.But tehn came the MIGHTY RAJAT who changed that sterotyping.Anyway,nobody else can act so well at such a young age anyway! 😉
He won so many awards for his portrayal of Prithviraj Chauhan.Most memorable one being THE BEST ACTOR award in the INDIAN TELEVISION AWARDS 2007.
Yes,Best ACTOR,beating all big shot 'adults'.He was waayyy better than all of them anyway,when he was merely 14 years old.
A historical show needs a lot more from an actor than contemporary shows.I rememba seeing sbs interviews and other artcles where they told us that Rajat hardly used to get 2-3 hours sleep per day due to the hectic shooting schedule,yet nothing stopped him.Not to forget his parents were away in delhi and this 14 year old kid was shooting in vadodara non stop for almost 3 years.Not to forget a dozen serious injuries.Not only did he act brilliantly,he was brilliant with the sword(you think hrithik was hot in Jodha akbar?See Rajat in PRC,you'll forget hrithik :D and moreova JA came after PRC :D ),brilliant with horse riding,brilliant with everything friggin' thing!
I was all tears the day he left PRC,but anyway,we saw him soon in DV :D After DV,he striked back again.He proved that he is not just the mytho king,by coming bk as Robindo in a contemporary show,Tere Liye.
He played a grey shaded character.He essayed this character too with utmost ease.And once again proved that he is better than everybody else. :D
He also came in keshav pandit bfore appearing in tere liye as young keshav.And that one episode was enuf to make everyone take their hats off!
Success never got to his head.He still continues to be the humble guy who loves his mom (aajka interview dekha kisine :D hahaha!)
Im 19 now..and this guy still bring butterflies in my stomach :D and i feel like that immature teen all over again :p
I dedicate this update to someone whom i have had a crush on for almost 7 years now!(I KNOW!INSANE! :D ) No other actor has been successful in bringing that much excitement in me since Rajat came into the picture :)
