I know it has been very long since I updated but for those who don't know I just got married... I was and still am very busy at this moment... but all the pms and comments about update compelled me to write an update...

Chapter Nine
Have you ever tried avoiding a person who is on your mind 24/7 ?? Whom you are very physically attracted to?? Whom you love spending time with?
Arnav has tried it... Even Khushi has tried it...
Result:
Arnav: He had tried to forget Khushi. He had tried to avoid Khushi. He had even tried to be happy for Khushi when he had heard she was probably going to say yes to Rohan (according to the three ladies). He knew she could never be his and he liked her as a person (uhm uhm) so he tried from the bottom of his heart to be happy for her and Rohan but he couldn't. After staying away from her for three weeks seeing her standing outside Rohan's house actually agreeing to what he already knew that she would probably marry Rohan ... well his oh so famous control snapped. His mind stopped working logically and he can't be held responsible for his actions just like a drunk man is actually not responsible for the actions done when he is drunk.
Khushi: She knew he won't marry her. He himself told her he won't ever marry. He looked at her probably like she is a crazy person. She tried avoiding him. She did everything to avoid him. She wanted him out of her mind so bad that she drowned herself into talking with Rohan day and night. She thought if she talked with Rohan more, gave him more time maybe he would be able to replace Arnav from her mind. After all it was not that long that she had known Arnav up-close. But fate or rather devi maiya would have it , trying not to think about him only intensified her wanting to think about him, be with him. This scared her so bad she decided finally she would say yes to Rohan. After all wasn't Rohan the perfect guy?The kind of guy a girl wants... So before taking the final step she wanted to check his room for po*n (yes yes I know... I know... Khushi is crazy)
As luck would have it she met the guy whom she avoided the last three weeks (by missing out parties claiming sickness, by not going to her jiji's house... etc... etc) in front of Rohan's house...
Arnav was looking like a man demented. If Khushi was any other girl she'd have ran for her life but she was not!! She was Khushi, who could happily risk her life for a piece of cake!!!
Every word out of Khushi's mouth made Arnav more and more mad. The biggest problem was that he couldn't point a finger at the reason why it made him so mad. He dragged khushi to the car and shut the door. He glared at her with anger filled eyes.
Suddenly everything became a blur...
Nothing mattered except for the other... neither of them would be able to say who reached for the other first... it all happened simultaneously... she was in his lap... thoroughly kissed by him on the lips... his cupped her face... she grabbed his hair... suddenly she was on her back on the seat with him over her still kissing...they wouldn't be able to tell how long they kissed or how they even breathed
Khushi knew this was a mistake... a big mistake... probably the biggest mistake she ever made in her whole life but she couldn't help herself... she had wanted this so much... she didnt even know that she had wanted it... okay maybe she was making a mistake but people are allowed to make atleast one big mistake in their whole life... fine he'll never marry her... so what!! It's just a fling... if it doesn't work out so be it!!she'll marry the guy her parents choose for her and settle down...she was a rational girl, she'll get over him!! But for now she wanted to let go of herself in the moment!! Enjoy it while it lasts.
Even though both of them are pole apart in some way they are just the same...
- Both realized they were getting attracted to each other
- Both tried their best to avoid each other
- Despite trying so hard they were not able to stay away from each other
So it was only natural that Arnav also realized that they were making a huge mistake... marriage could never be on the cards therefore this would only end in bad terms... just for a physical passion he'd lose a girl whom he genuinely loved hanging out with... things are going to be awkward between them and he'd still have to face her the rest of his life as she was Payal's sister... but like Khushi he couldn't stop himself... he had wanted this so bad... Khushi had probably been attracted to him over the last 1-2 months but Arnav had felt an attraction for her for the last three years... after knowing her better for the last two months he had even started imaging her in his dreams... she was the nymph he could never have... he tried... tried so hard to avoid her but he couldn't... screw the future he just wanted to enjoy the moment...

What had started in the car continued over the days over dates and outings. They behaved like normal in front of family members and at parties. No one guessed what was happing between them. Neither mentioned the future or where they were heading because they were terrified. It was like walking on thin ice. Khushi was scared what if Arnav broke up with her if she mentioned a future and them. Arnav was scared that Khushi would leave him if she knew there was no future for them. Both clung on to the other as they both were afraid of being separate from each other although knowing this had to end at some point. The more they got scared the more they made out. It was as if to assure themselves that the other was present with them at the moment.
Khushi didn't ask for commitment and neither did Arnav mention any commitment. But!! Whatever they did they never took the relationship to the next level. Making out was all they did... Never Sex!! ... It would bring forth a lot of unwanted questions that would lead to an inevitable breakup.

Arnav and Khushi avoided going to the same party because they were scared scared someone would find out about them but they were unable to avoid tonight's party as the couple was really close to both their families. They made a pact to totally avoid each other.
Only one look at Khushi wearing a stunning red saree and Arnva was done for. He couldn't keep his eyes of her. As soon as he saw her move towards the garden he moved behind her. He grabbed her by her waist and pulled her to him. Shocked by the sudden attack she gasped and her mouth formed a perfect "O". Taking this oppertunity Arnv covered her mouth with his. She kissed him back and snuggled even closer to him.
Suddenly they heard a sound behind them. Both turned around quickly to see gossip queen Savita Aunty looking at them with a glitter in her eyes. "I thought there was something between you the night I introduced you to Manisha. Naughty Kids!! Don't worry your secret is safe with me"
Only Arnav and Khushi knew very well that she was lying and this news would spread like wildfire. Arnav couldn't even buy her silence because her husband was himself a rich tycoon.
Khushi had tears in her lashes and she moved back to go to the room before anyone else saw them.
He grabbed her hands and turned her to face him "You don't get it Khushi I can't marry you"
His eyes speaking the desperation for her to understand what he was feeling.
