"But Buaji! Amma, How can you both not be here for Diwali!?" Khushi pouted & crossed her arms. Payal looked at her and smiled, she signaled a nod at Buaji and Garima and they smiled lightly.
"Khushi, Buaji and Garima aren't going because they want too, It's important, Savita massi invited them to a Pooja, It's important."
"But Jiji, Every year we all celebrate Diwali together. We always have masti together. And besides, If Buaji and Amma leave today, than how are we both going to stay home alone? When I go to work, you'll be alone, and you know me, I hate leaving my Jiji alone" Khushi put her arms around Payal's shoulders and put her cheek next to hers, She smiled gleefully and Payal patted her head.
"Hai Re Nandkishore, May god bless our 2 children right Garima, Look at the 2 of them"
Garima shook her head and smiled as she watched her 2 children smile and comfort each other, she loved them terribly.
"Khushi, we won't exactly be alone though? We're not going to be staying here"
"Kya!? Jiji what are you saying!? Are we going back to Lucknow?" Khushi smiled gleefully before her smile faltered. Garima and Buaji looked at each other and Payal put Khushi's chin up.
"Khushi, Were going to be staying in the Raizada house"
Khushi's mouth made a massive 'O' shape. Her eye's looked as if they'd fall out and Payal watched in amusement, she raised her eyebrows and getting no response, she waved her head in front of Khushi.
"Jiji, That laad governers house! When? How? HOW!?"
"I called Anjaliji and she was more than ecstatic to let us go" Payal smiled, "And besides it's only for 3 days. Buaji and Amma should be back by Diwali night"
"Theek hai Jiji, But come on now, we need to pack the clothes right Amma?"
Garima smiled at Khushi, "Come on, We need to get a move on" Buaji and Garima smiled at each other as Khushi and Payal skipped into their room.
"Mad. Their both mad"
"Jiji" Garima laughed.

"WHAT!?"
"Chotte, Why are you screaming" Anjali came to the corridor and was shocked to see Arnav with his jaw clenched and eyes shut. The only thing missing was smoke from his ears, than he'd look like a real dragon. Anjali giggled at her thoughts. She looked at Akash standing next to Arnav and signaled him with her facial expressions asking what happened?
"Di. That Khushi Kumari Gupta and her sister, why did you invite the both of them!?"
"Oh. Chotte, It's Diwali and you know with my limp, I can't do the preparations properly and so I thought it would be easier if Payalji and Khushiji come to help"
"Di, we have servants at home, what's the need to call those Gupta sisters here? And I'm not talking about preparations, I'm talking about staying, Living here for a couple of days"
"Chotte! Khushiji's Buaji and Amma are going away for a few days and I met Payal in the temple so I offered them to come and stay here, simple" Anjali answered with a grin on her face.
"Whatever. But they better not be in the way" Arnav roared as he left for the poolside. He was aggravated, wasn't it enough that he had to tolerate that Khushi Kumari Gupta in the office and now she was coming into his home. And di, Just completely ecstatic at the arrival of Khushi.
***
"Okay, Namaste Amma, Buaji, Come home soon, Will be missing you. "
Khushi hugged Payal as she watched Amma and Buaji leave. She pouted and watched Payal go inside, get their suitcases and then lock the door to their house.
"Come on Khushi, We've got to go"
"Jiji, Now."
"Yes, Come on, There's an auto here"
"Fine, Come on Jiji"
***
They stood outside for 2 minutes wondering how to go on. They couldn't exactly just enter now could they? Khushi and Payal both looked at each other and paced forward and backwards. Suddenly, they both began to giggle realizing how I silly the situation was, their giggles continued as the Raizada doors opened.
"Arreh, Khushiji, Payalji, Your both here, Come in, Come" Anjali bellowed.
Payal immediately controlled herself and greeted Anjali, Anjali looked at Khushi who was having trouble controlling her laughter. Payal nudged Khushi in the elbow and Khushi looked down smiling.
"Khushiji, what's so funny"
Khushi began laughing again and looked at Payal who was glaring at her.
"Voh Anjaliji, Me and Jiji were waiting outside wondering how to make our entry over here and you already opened the door" Khushi replied giggling lightly again.
Anjali gave a confused look to Khushi and shook her head smiling lightly.
"Silly, this is like your house as well, You can just knock and come in" Payal smiled touched by her gesture and followed Anjali inside the house.
"Hari Prakash! Please come and put Khushiji and Payalji's bags in their respective rooms"
"Rooms? Anjaliji, Aren't me and Jiji in the same room"
"Oh no, Sorry Khushiji, I thought you both wanted your own space"
"Oh no, It's just Khushi gets scared of the dark sometimes"
Anjali looked at Khushi and smiled lightly; she came forward and cupped her cheek. "Khushiji, You're so big and you get scared of the dark?"
Payal looked at Khushi and then back at Anjali. "No Anjaliji, It's because umm.." Payal looked down not wanting to continue the conversation in Khushi's presence.
"Anjaliji, it's fine, it's just umm. Anjaliji do you have a room where I can have the view of the sky? So I can watch the stars shining?" Anjali smiled and thought of Arnav's room. "Arreh Yes Khushiji, Theirs one room where you can view the stars and the moon, I'll get it ready for you"
"Thank you Anjaliji" Khushi smiled and Anjali told her and Payal to sit as Om Prakash made dinner.
"Hari Prakash! Come here quickly"
"Yes ma'am"
Anjali motioned Hari Prakash to come forward and he obliged, "Get Chotte's things out of his room and shift it to the room opposite, Put Khushiji's stuff in Choote's room okay"
"But ma'am, Chotte sahib tho"
"Shush!" Anjali puit her finger on her lips and stared at Hari Prakash, "Ji ma'am"
Anjali bit back a smile and sat down near Khushi and Payal began to talk about Bollywood. More like praising Salman Khan and his biceps.
***
"Bro. Their home, Can't you hear the laughter?" Akash whispered suddenly cautious of the woman present in the home.
"Argh, I just want to eat and sleep. I can't deal with this all"
"Chotte, Akash, Your home, Come on, let's eat shall we?"
Khushi stopped munching on her Jalebi and looked at the men in front of her, she mumbled something in Payal's ear and she began to laugh.
Dinner was something, much livelier than usual. Anjali was giggling watching Khushi eat and talk about the fun the 2 siblings had, Payal just stared at her plate attempting to avoid the lingering looks Akash kept giving her and Arnav just stared quietly, angrily chomping on his food.
After dinner, everyone went into the living room to relax. Arnav just sat on the sofa working grumpily.
"Anjaliji, Is he always so grumpy?"
"Chotte? Chotte is always like this Khushiji!" Anjali smiled as she began to joke about.
"Just like a laad governer" Anjali began to giggle and Khushi yawned suddenly tired.
"Khushiji, you seem really tired. I think you should go to your room and sleep now"
"Ji Anjaliji."
"Jiji, Shall I go?" Payal walked to Khushi and kissed her on the forehead. " Khushi, Remember to have your medicine before you go to bed okay?" Payal warned and Khushi nodded her head.
"Hari Prakash, Take Khushi to her room" Anjali winked at Hari Prakash and he nodded immediately.
"Payalji, Khushiji, Why does she take medicine?"
Payal shifted uncomfortably. Akash watched Payal as she began to talk.
"Anjaliji, The thing is.. " Payal bit her tongue and looked down trying to gather strength to continue, She looked up to see all 3 pairs of eyes on her staring at her. "When Khushi was a child, she was in a car accident, And in that car accident, her parents and her brother both died, since that day, Khushi couldn't remember clearly what happened, she gets flashbacks but.. She can't remember how, what happened? The medicine is to help her remember, to come to terms about what happened. Ever since she's been scared of the dark. Khushi likes watching the stars and moon at night, it comforts her."
Anjali stood still, rooted on the ground as she heard Khushi's story. She felt her tears drop down on her cheek, she wasn't a stranger to the feeling of having her parents taken away from her at a young age, " Poor Khushiji" . Arnav stared at Payal and looked away trying to register the new information he just received,
FLASHBACK-
"That I am" Khushi proudly smiled. "I'm absolutely crazy & I love it. You know once, me and babuji, when I was a kid and it was Holi, I ran around the entire neighborhood and was throwing colors on everyone, I even threw colors on the cows" she giggled. "And Babuji told me I was" she halted suddenly and looked distant. She tried to remember, it was fading from her memory and she gripped her bag tightly, tears were on the verge of collapsing. Her grip tightened on her bag till her knuckles turned white. Arnav immediately sensing the tension got up from his seat and stood in front of Khushi. "Khushi." He asked uncertainly. He watched the mixture of emotions floating on her face. He wasn't sure what was happening. "Why can't I remember?" she wondered, she slowly asked herself. She stared into Arnav's caramel eyes and a tear fell from her cheek. "Why can't I remember what Babuji said" her voice breaking slightly as she closed her eyes and sobbed. Arnav, not knowing what the hell just happened did the only thing he could think of. He brought her closer and hugged her, patting her back soothingly and telling her it was going to be okay. She became silent and then realizing the awkward position they were in, stood up and smiled a watery smile at Arnav.
"Sorry about that. I just. Voh sometimes"
"It's okay." Arnav replied staring into her eyes trying to figure her out. It didn't take long though, behind her brown eyes held confusion and pain. Pain, Pain. Why did she have pain in her eyes? For the amount of time he knew Khushi Kumari Gupta, He concluded that she was a happy-go-lucky & rarely cried. Then why was her eyes saying something else? Ignoring his thoughts, He watched her as she eagerly waited for him to speak.
Flashback ENDS-
"That's why she was... she couldn't remember her Babuji's words" Arnav whispered quietly.
"Bhai, did you say something?"
"Nothing Akash, Okay di, I'm going to bed now. Good night"
"Good night Chotte"
***
Arnav went into his room in thought; Khushi was an orphan, just like him. Her parents died in an accident and she was present there, just like him. It was amazing; Khushi Kumari Gupta and Arnav Singh Raizada have a similarity.
Arnav remembered the moment his mum and dad were in an accident and closed his eyes; he immediately went into the poolside and looked up at the sky, He stayed there for minutes feeling the cool breeze on his face and then walked inside. He changed his cloths and lay down on his bed taking the blanket and putting it over his head when suddenly he felt tugging. He shook his head and tugged the blanket on his side harder; again, he felt tugging on the blanket and got annoyed. He tugged the blanket harder and suddenly he heard a thud.
Alarmed, Arnav immediately got up and put his bedside lamp on, "What the!?"
Khushi got up in her yellow night suit and rubbed her head glaring at Arnav.
"Oww! What was that for" Khushi yelled and sat on the bed.
"What the hell are you doing in my room!?"
"Your room? What are you saying? Anjaliji gave me this room because it had the poolside which shows the stars and the moon."
"But this is my room."
"But.. But.. But I need the stars and the moon"
Arnav stared at Khushi, Her locks of hair were coming in front of her eyes and her lips were in a small pout, she looked so cute. He remembered the words of Payal and stared at Khushi, She was such a child. Absolutely adorable. Annoying, but cute. He smirked and Khushi blew her fringe and scrunched her nose wondering why Arnav was smiling.
"You look so cute when you smile! But why are you smiling?"
Arnav began to chuckle and Khushi's confused looks weren't helping, in fact they made him laugh harder.
"The way you.. Fell from the bed" Arnav touched his chest to calm himself down, He was laughing after so long and it felt so good. Anjali heard the sound of laughter and motioned Akash to the room, they watched from the door as Arnav laughed and felt tears spring onto their eyes. It had been so long since they watched Arnav laugh, years in fact. And this girl, who they only knew for a month brought happiness into their lives immediately. She definitely lived up to her name.. Khushi because wherever she goes, she brings happiness there.
The whole day had gone as a blur. There was so much to be done in such a small span of time. The arrangements were all carried out, the chefs were informed of what cuisine to make, the invitations for the Diwali party had been made and Payal & Anjali were completing the remaining tasks. Khushi shook her head, the lighting always got on her nerves.
"The lights should be here and there" She pointed to herself; she grumbled when she couldn't find anyone near her, more suitable to do the job. "Everyone's busy with the other work, I might as well" Khushi got the ladder from the kitchen and began to step on it, She flicked the locks of hair coming in her way and smiled as she watched the lights shimmer and glisten around the front of the house. "Arreh Vah! The house looks awesome" Khushi looked back and immediately lost her balance. She shut her eyes only to be held on by a pair of strong and firm hands holding her tight once again, she slowly opened one eye and than the other as she stared at the man in front of her, His beautiful, brown colored eye's sent goose bumps shivering down her spine and his gaze didn't leave her face. Her hands holding onto his shirt like her life depended on it.
"Can't you be more careful?" he whispered with a firm edge to his voice, Khushi shifted and she stood on her feet going through the creases in her kameez, she looked up at Arnav and whispered a thank you.
She watched as the aged woman in front of her looked at the decorations, so close yet so far away. She scrunched her eyebrows as she saw the old lady touch and feel the decorations and scrutinize the decorations.
"Who is she?" Khushi asked.
"No one" Arnav growled. "Don't you dare speak to her, Do you understand me" Arnav growlded glaring at the old lady in front of him. She looked up at him, her old eyes penetrating his hoping for acceptance, hoping that she could finally reconcile with her grand children but to no avail. She silently and quietly walked back to her room and simply shut the door.
Once the arrangements were done, Khushi walked towards Anjali and requested her whether she could speak to her alone.
"Anjaliji, Can I ask you something? You won't mind right?"
"Of course not Khushiji, Tell me"
"Who is that old lady in that room" Khushi pointed to the door beside the small mandir inside the house.
Anjali looked at the closed door and sighed. "That's Nani's room Khushiji"
"Anjaliji, Naniji came out a while ago and she was looking longingly at the decorations, And Arnavji was mean as well, Is everything okay?"
"Khushiji, Come with me"
Anjali pondered for a second whether to tell Khushi or not. It was quite personal but what the heck? If the girl who managed to make a stubborn and ruthless business man like Arnav Singh Raizada laugh, god knows what miracle she could do when it came to Nani.
"Chotte and Nani don't get along very well."
"But Anjaliji, That's no reason for Naniji to be estranged from the family"
"Khushiji, I was married."
Khushi looked at Anjali startled. She never knew this lovely woman in front of her was married; she was awfully very sweet and affectionate.
"The man who married me cheated me, He ran away with my money and just last year we found him, He was brutally murdered." Khushi listened in shock.
"Ever since that day, Chotte kept a grudge with Nani thinking that she ruined my life. In fact I don't think Nani ruined my life, Whatever happened with me was unfortunate but it taught me a lesson, It taught me to be a stronger person" Anjali looked into Khushi's eye's and teared up.
"No Anjaliji" Khushi put her hands on Anjali's cheeks and shook her head. "Tears look horrible on you, you look absolutely radiant when you're smiling because when you smile, it's so contagious that the whole world smiles with you" Anjali smiled and hugged Khushi, Khushi patted Anjali on the back and both shared a lovely moment together.
"Anjaliji, How long have you all been distant? I mean with Nani?"
"7 years Khushi, 7 years Nani's been living in this house yet alienated from everything, She was never allowed to attend any functions, any pooja's, All because of Chotte and his insistence"
"Di, I promise this time, Naniji will participate in Diwali"
Anjali looked at Khushi and smiled through her tears. "Really?" "Really" Khushi replied. "Khushiji, I loved it when you called me Di. Please, Say it again na?" "Di" Anjali became emotional and hugged Khushi again; she wrapped her arm around this lovely lady and kissed her on the head. She was absolutely lovely.
***
"Arnavji, I need to speak to you."
Akash and Arnav were catching up with details about Mr Koothrapali's project as Khushi persistently looked at Arnav and motioned him to follow her.
"You go on bhai, I'll get the project ready" Akash smiled at Khushi before he excused himself and walked away. He stopped on his tracks as he stared at the woman in front of him; She looked beautiful in a high pony and her pink salwar suit arranging the thaali. She looked so cute, Akash never realised when and how he was walking towards her and holding her hand. Payal blushed as she looked up at Akash aas he suddenly got out of the trace, He immediately pulled his hand back, fidgeted with his glasses and walked away. Payal watched him leave dejectedly. What had just happened?
***
"Arnavji, didn't you see how Naniji was craving to participate in Diwali, She looked so sad and lonely"
Arnav turned around, startled and stared at the woman in front of him.
"What the? How dare you. You haven't even been here for so long and you have the audacity to tell me about MY Nani?"
"Your Nani. Your Nani. So when Mr Arnav Singh Raizada thinks it's right or a suitable time to refer to his Nani as 'His', Than you can call her that? How can you be so cruel to that old lady!?She's your Nani Arnavji!"
"SHUT UPPP!" he bellowed and his hands gripped her shoulders tightly. He wanted to shake her; he wanted her to shut up. "Stop talking, Stop talking you hear me Khushi Kumari Gupta"
"Leave me, Leave me now" She struggled to get out of his grip; She looked up to him and glared. "Fine, you want to hold me, hold me, but that doesn't change the fact that how you're treating your Nani is wrong!"
"And what do you know about what she's done huh?"
"Because Di told me"
His grip loosened slightly as he watched Khushi hold her arms tightly staring at the red prints painted on her shoulder, she looked and scowled at him, her eyes on the verge of tears before se blinked them away. "She's my Di. Not yours"
Khushi looked at him disbelievingly and shook her head.
"Arnavji, you know what. For the first time, I saw tears in Anjali's eyes today. Initially I thought she was crying at her own fate, Or for Nani but now I'm realising that she was crying for you. So much hate, so much anger. So much pride? But for what? Why? How can you be so proud of these relationships, this money when the relationships you boast about mean nothing to you. Fine,Anjaliji's your sister but what about her happiness? Do you think she enjoys watching Nani being alienated from her family at her age? Do you think she enjoys watching her small brother who she affectionately calls 'Chotte' acting like a rakshas?! Do you think it doesn't pain her when you turn the other side when Nani walks past? No, it hurts her."
Khushi watched as Arnav turned around closing his eyes; It was like he refused to believe the truth. Or perhaps the fact that he didn't want to.
"Arnavji, These relationships, Keep them close to you because you don't know when someone will go. It can happen at any time. Kal ho na ho. You never know when someone will go to god and you can only regret and wish you told them you love them sooner"
Khushi wiped the tears forming in her eyes and walked towards Arnav. She touched his shoulder and turned him around aware of the tears falling on to his cheeks. Arnav immediately hugged Khushi tight and let the tears roll. Khushi patted his back and put her jaw on his shoulder, they stayed like that for moments, Arnav cried and Khushi consoled him.
"I knew you were a person Arnav, I knew behind that facade of ruthlessness and arrogance was a little, young lost boy named Arnav, That Arnav for which his family is yearning to see again" Her words were so soothing, he realized as he pushed her closer to himself, his hands roamed around the top of her back and he released his hands, released himself from the hug.
"Thank you Khushi, I know what to do" and with that he left, before returning and placing a soft and sweet kiss on Khushi's cheek.
Diwali, The festival of lights. Well there was definitely going to be lots of light here and for the good reasons.
Khushi smiled as she tied the dori of her red Sari and walked outside to the Raizada living room, it was absolutely beautiful with all the shimmering lights and the guests walking around having a cheerful and lovely time. Khushi watched as Payal descended the stairs with a green sari looking beautiful as ever, She ran up to her Jiji and hugged her tightly. "Happy Diwali Jiji" "Happy Diwali Khushi" Payal caressed her cheek and both of them smiled. Khushi watched Anjali descend in a beautiful blue sari looking absolutely flawless as ever. Khushi kept her eyes on Anjali and quickly ran when Anjali was about to trip over her Sari. She caught her on time and thanked Devi Maiyya she reached to her on time. "Di, Careful" she whispered and Anjali smiled cupping her cheek and nodding reassuringly.
Khushi looked around and caught Akash oogling at Payal, she giggled slightly but then watched as Payal deliberately glared at Akash and walked off. Khushi giggled again and Akash caught her staring, Khushi gave a thumbs up and Akash blushed.
Khushi eagerly looked around waiting for Arnav. Where is he? That laad governer gaye ka! When suddenly she heard the glass smashing and Khushi looked at Anjali who was staring at the stair case gob smacked. Descending from the stairs was Nani was a wonderful smile on her face and Arnav next to her, hand in hand, slowly coming down. Anjali went forward and tears sprung her eyes again. She immediately embraced Nani and Nani hugged her back with an equal amount of love. Akash walked forward and hugged Arnav before hugging Nani as well. The whole Raizada family was completely speechless; they didn't know what to say.
Anjali walked towards a smiling Khushi and hugged her tight.
"This is all because of you Khushiji, Thank you so much"
"Di, it was my duty"
"You're like my guardian angel Khushi" Anjali cried and Khushi wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Anjaliji, Go and spend time with Nani, Everything's going to be fine now"
Anjali smiled and ran to Nani. Nani walked up to Khushi and smiled; she placed her hand on Khushi's cheeks and whispered a slow "Thank you" from her mouth before kissing her on the forehead and blessing her.
Khushi smiled and wiped the tears from her eye's, she felt so happy today. She looked at the windows and smiled brightly when she saw the moon and the stars outside shining radiantly. She quickly excused herself and ran as fast as she could upstairs, tripping over her sari twice and a pair of caramel colored eyes watched her in amusement.
***
"Maa, Papa, How are you?" Khushi whispered as she looked up at the sky.
"Maa, Papa, Happy Diwali" Khushi whispered with a smile on her face, She put the candle she was holding up so the moon and the stars could see; She closed her eyes and felt the gust of wind around her. She opened her eyes afraid the candle must have blown out but to her surprise, Arnav was standing next to her, his hands around the flame, keeping it ignited and staring at Khushi.
"Do you really think your maa and papa are stars?"
Khushi nodded and pointed her finger up to the brightest stars. "That one's my maa who watches me all the time and the one twinkling beside here is my papa who's always following my maa" Khushi giggled as she watched the stars twinkle.
"Khushi, Thank you" Khushi looked gob smacked at Arnav. "You.. The mighty Arnav Singh Raizada just thanked me!?"
"Khushi" he whispered and she laughed. "Come here, Let's sit" he made her sit on the white swing and sat beside her. "Khushi, You're a very nice girl" Khushi looked at him and laughed. "You're so cute" she smiled and Arnav blushed.
"Friends" Khushi looked at Arnav and saw his hand reaching out to hers. She immediately got up and shook her head.
"No way, I'm not going to be friends with you!"
Arnav looked at her confused.
"Why? Whats so bad about me?"
"Everything! I I be your friend, It means I can't call you Laad governer or Rakshas or anything!"
Arnav smiled and began to laugh; Khushi watched him laugh and saw his face sparkle with warmth. She smiled too and looked down.
"What if you can still call me nicknames but just in a friendly way now?"
"Hmmm" Khushi pretended to think about it. "No"
"Why?" Arnav stared at her, getting frustrated.
"Because you never say please, thank you or sorry!. First apologise for being mean to me, Than I'll be your friend!"
"Khushi, You're so childish!"
"Voh to mai hoon. Now apologise."
Arnav got up and walked towards Khushi. They were in the middle of the moon. He watched the light bounce on to Khushi and her radiant eye's looked so beautiful, He noticed the curves of her body, Her red Sari highlighting how elegant and beautiful she looked. The gloss on her lips making them seem shiny and presentable. "Khushi" he whispered as he touched her back and pulled her closer to him. The sensations of his touch made Khushi feel fuzzy. He stroked her back and played with her dori slightly before moving up and touching the exposed part of her skin. She gasped lightly and met Arnav's eyes. She could see the desire in his caramel eyes and her heart was thumping so loud she was sure he could hear it, "Arnavvv" she whispered and he brought her closer, His lips touched her soft ones and he pulled her into a kiss, he bit on her lower lip and coaxed it opened, she put her hands behind Arnav's head and pulled him closer, she was totally inexperienced in kissing but the feelings, the sensation she was receiving just made her brain sizzle. Her eyes closed and he pulled her closer, The kiss turned more passionate, more urgent and Khushi let out a slight moan.
It was suddenly disturbed when there was a sudden loud voice. "ASR darling, ASR honey, Where are you?"
It was Lavanya.
Khushi immediately pulled away and looked down. She touched her sari and held it tightly, she felt ashamed, what had she just done!? She looked accusingly at Arnav to see desire still etched in his eyes and turned around suddenly award of her surroundings. "ASR, Their you are darling" Lavanya ran into his arms and kissed him on the cheek. "Happy Diwali ASR.. OMG What are you doing here Chamkili, Shoo. Go away" Lavanya hissed and Khushi looked up. She blinked back the tears and ran from the terrace confused and lonely more than ever.
She walked down slowly before wiping the gloss from her lips and reapplying eyeliner. The tears had smudged her makeup and she looked like a mess. She went downstairs where she saw Buaji and Garima standing beside Payal waiting to meet her. Khushi mustered up the courage and ran to Garima and hugged her tight, she closed her eyes and cried a little before opening them and smiling gleefully at Garima.
"Sanka Devi, Are you okay? Crazy woman, We've only been gone a couple of days!"
"Buaji, I've just missed you both so much" Khushi hugged Buaji and smiled.
"Well don't worry, were going home in a little while, Payal just introduced us to Anjaliji, She's very sweet"
Khushi nodded and smiled, "Come Khushi, Lets dance" Anjali dragged her onto the dance floor. Khushi initially just stood there, not wanting to dance but after a lot of requesting, she began to dance. She began to spin and spin, her thoughts becoming entangled. She watched as Arnav and Lavanya came down the siars together, she closed her eyes and suddenly the image came in her mind.
The car crashing, the shrieks, the loud thump, The fire but the most important thing, Bhai. He wasn't in the car, He was outside.
"MAAA" Khushi put her hands on her ears to try and block the memories! Her head hurt, she closed her eyes and opened them again, and everything was spinning.
She closed her eyes and opened them again. She was going to drop, she closed her eyes and felt herself falling, suddenly before she hit the floor, A pair of familiar hands held her tightly and wrapped them around his arms.
