Chapter 23
Realisation...

Aahana starts laughing so hard that she couldn't breathe properly.
"Man your just too good!" Aahana says laughing. "I'd never be able to come up with a joke like that."
"Aahana... I'm not joking. I am a prince," Uday says.
"Prince Charming," She says. "If you really were a prince then were is your crown huh?" I shoot her a glare to tell her it was enough. If he really was a prince then he shouldn't be treated like this.
"Aahana, in cartoons princes wear crowns," Uday tells her.
"But if your prince of Jaipur then what ya doing here?" Aahana questions him.
"Really Aahana leave the poor guy alone," I tell her. "Look Uday we all know your not a prince so you can stop acting now."
"Manyata I swear to you that I really am a prince. You will undertsand why I'm here and not in Jaipur. Believe if you want to or not," Uday tells me. I guess it would make sense. Reputation; it is a hard thing to live upto. Specially after Sanya breaking their family up.
"Okay Uday, I believe you," I say. He relaxes a bit, relieved after my response. "But does this mean that I have to call you Yuvraj Udayveer"
"No you don't have to, I prefer just being called Uday by you," he tells me.
"Okay..." I say. It felt really weird now to know about Uday's truth. It was like he was a complete different person.
"We're gonna go back to the other car now," Zayn says.
"Okay see ya guys," I say. They both then get out of the car and walks towards Aahan's car. I awkwardly play around with my hands, not sure on what to talk about.
"Princess why you being nervous? I knew I shouldn't have told you guys the truth, now you're all gonna start acting all weird," he says, sighing.
"Sorry," I say, not really sure how to reply back to tat comment. Was that polite enough? I was so confused. Aahana's car starts driving slowly and Uday starts the engine again. The windscreen wipers starts to move all the snow flakes away and I keep watching it.
"Manyata, I'm still the same person..." Uday starts off.
"Uday I know you are. It's just, what will people think. And all this time I ignored you..." I say.
"Princess, I don't care what the people think anymore. After dad and mum broke up everything went into chaos anyway," uday tells me.
"You have to stop calling me princess though. I'm not a royal person, you are," I say to him. He carries on following Aahana. The snow starts to get heavier by the minute and everything looks like a winter wonderland.
"Manu, I'll always treat you like a Princess. It doesn't matter about being royal or not. At the end of the day we're all humans," He explains.
"But Uday you have a reputation to put up with," I say.
"Princess just forget about it," Uday says. Silence then overtakes our conversation, and I just sit there watching the snowflakes repeatedly fall on to the glass and then being wiped off by the windscreen wipers. Soon my eyelids start to feel heavy and I close my eyes. Slowly falling asleep.

[UV POV]
I slowly drive in the snowy roads following Aahana. Manyata was fast asleep now. I look at her face. She looked so cute in her sleep. Smiling, I shake my head.
It felt quite nice to tell everyone the truth. My chest felt lighter now that my secret was exposed. I knew they would have acted weirdly like everyone does when they see me, but now I have to convince them to not act like I was a prince. I guess it was the right thing to tell them.
Manyata starts to rouse around in her seat. "No you can't do this," She says with a concerned face.
"Udayveer, you can't marry me. I'm not a princess what wull everyone say?" She carries on. I smile at her sleep talking. Was she dreaming about me proposing to her?
"You can't marry a commoner like me. Uday please try to understand, you can't marry me!" She exclaims in her sleep. She starts to move loads in her seat, clenching her teeth. I start to get worried.
"Shh.. Manyata, it's okay," I tell her. I stroke her hair to calm her down. She then smiles and holds my hand to her cheeks.
"I love you Uday..." She says in a sweet soft voice.
"I love you too," I whisper knowing that she wouldn't be able to hear me.
After half an hour we get in a massive traffic queue. Manyata starts to really become restless. A few minutes passes and then she opens her eyes. First confused with what was happening.
"Still snowing?" She asks me.
"Yep, and we're stuck in traffic," I tell her.
"Yeah, I can see that," She says. Then she yawns and rubs her eyes. Manyata looked really cute, I think to myself.
"You still sleepy?" I ask her.
"Yeah but I won't be able to sleep in this noise," She says. She was right, the sound of car horns beeing was getting annoying. "A car accident?"
"Yeah I think so," I reply back. "You know, you were talking in your sleep."
"Really? What was I saying?" She asks me embarrassed. A pink blush forms on her cheeks.
"Oh something like "Udayveer you can't marry me!'," I say laughing.
"Erm..."She says, her blush turning into a deeper crimson red.
"Leave it. So do you like snow?" I ask her.
"Yeah of course," She replies back.
"Good, " I say.

[M POV]
I touch the cold icey snow with my bare fingers in the morning. After my hand becomes half numb I decide to put my gloves on. Collecting the snow into my cupped hands, I squeeze it into a hard ball and throw it in the air. Smack. And it hits Rahul right in the face. We were all having a snowball fight. It was last night when Uday decided it was time to tell the others about us making up again.
"Don't worry Manyata. I'll get you," Rahul says, winking. He picks up some snow and it quickly manifests into a snowball. Rahul then throws it in my direction but I dodge it.
"Seems like someone needs some more practise at aiming," I tease him. He laughs and shakes his head. Uday then comes up to me and puts his hands over my ears.
"I found something that Rahul might really like," He says.
"Oh really?" I say.
"Yeah, this will be funny," he whispers. I smile, already knowing what it was.
"Oh Rahul, we've found something that you'd really like," I yell.
"Really? Okay I'm coming!" he exclaims running through the snow. I laugh at him, he didn't know what he was about to see. "Okay I'm here. Show it to me."
"Go on Uday, take us there then," I say smiling. He smirks and starts walking with us following behind him. He leads us to a nearby shed and points out a cobweb.
"Weoe, it's frozen," I say, looking at the glistening web.
"Yeah this is amazing Uday," Rahul says. Then a spider comes out from no where and there's a scream. I look at Rahul expecting it to be him but it wasn't.
"Rahul did you just scream?" day asks.
"No, it came from up there," he says pointing at an open window from the apartments. We all quickly run inside to my apartment and open the door. Talking on the phone screaming was a very excited Aahana.
"I'd love to!" She exclaims in the phone jumping up and down smiling.
"OMG! Thank you so much!" She carries on. "Bye!"
"Aahana why were you screaming?" I ask her.
"Because you and me... O-M-G, we were asked to be brides maids," Aahana says. Brides maids? Someone was having an english wedding... but who? And weren't we too old to be brides maids.
"Aahana who's wedding is this?" I ask her.
"Your dad's of course," She happily says. I should have known this all along.
"What? When?" I question her.
"They're getting married in 3 days so we don't have much time to shop. Hayeee, it's gonna be a white wedding," Se exclaims. I look at Uday and he sends me a worried look. Aahana then walks off to my bedroom.
"Just play along with it. I have a plan," he whispers. I nod and soon Aahana comes out with her purse.
"Let's go shopping then," She says, dragging me out of the apartment. Uday follows us.
"Wait but how do we know which colour to get, and what if she wants us be get shoes or high heels?" I ask, trying to get her to stop dragging me. She smiles, letting me free.
"The bride herself is here to help us shop," Aahana replies back. I turn around and see her in the car. Gulping, I look at Aahana and ice cream girl. Turning back around, I look at Uday, He nods telling me to keep playing along with them. I hesitantly move forward and then Aahana gets annoyed with me. "C'mon she's not gonna bite ya, just sit in the damn car!"
I open the back passenger door and sit down. Aahana then copies me. "There, that was very easy," She says. I stare outside the window, wishing that I was outside playing with the others. I didn't even want to go to the wedding in the first place.
"Aahana," I whisper. She looks at me. I place my hands over her right ear. "I don't want to be a brides maid." She laughs at me.
"Well tough luck, she has no one else," Aahana whispers back. I wonder what that ice cream girl has told Aahana. I didn't want anything to do with this stupid wedding. We soon stop outside a shop which is full of designer dresses.
"We're here," Sanya says. She gets out of the car and smiles. I wonder how many other victims there were that also fell into her charms. We both then get out of the car and enter the shop.
