Part – 1

Morning rays were entering the room, but for the person who is still in his bed nothing made any change. He was lost in the events that happened last night. The sleep was away from him because in one night everything changed for him and the relationship he shared with Aarti. He still can't believe the turn of events happened. He still can't believe that Aarti will say something like that. He was thinking last two weeks incidences which led him to this current state. After the stormy night he noticed there were lots of differents in Aarti's behavior, the way sometimes she looks towards him, as if she is lost somewhere, maybe in him. First he just shrugged off it, and whenever he ask her, she will just give a blank look with a blunt answer, and sometimes she will just change the topic and will divert him by bringing up Kids talk. He was really confused with her behavior. This continues for two weeks, so he decided to ask Aarti herself, which changed everything in his life…from him to his relationship with Aari. First their relationship was based on respect for one another but now………

He was brought back with opening sound of washroom door. He saw Aarti was coming out. He noticed she was calm and not to miss he was there was a different glow in her face, and again he was lost in his thoughts. Aarti looked up and saw Yash was awake and wished him with a smile and asked him to fresh up as everyone would be waiting for them. But when there no response from him, she turns towards him and saw him lost. She knows she was the one who is responsible, but she also know that she was not wrong. She thought he needs some time to digest the fact, and decided to give him some space. She raised her voice and called out him

Yashji ….its time, everyone would be waiting for us …go and fresh up, and I will check the kids whether they are ready for school.

Yash was looking at her differently ans she knows she owns a explanation and she gave him the same.

I know Yashji, I'm responsible for ur condition and I know it would be hard for you to digest it, with whatever I said last night, but as I said before I not expecting U neither to accept it nor I'm expecting anything from you, and forget not we are still friends.

With that she moved towards the door, but before going out she turned and looked towards him. Both their eyes met for a fraction of seconds and quickly turned other side.

But the word "FRIEND" was lingering in both their mind. Yes they are friends now. After Neelam's fiasco and the huge row they had with Dad Scindia helped them in becoming friends. Yash still remember how Aarti stood with him when Neelam's matter was out in front of their family the very next day they escaped with Neelam and Kunal.

*Flashback*

Dad Scindia was very much furious, and as expected he blamed Aarti for it. And to make the matter worse Bua added things from her side too. When Yash felt situation is going worse and everyone is blaming Aarti without any reason, he decided to speak up before it further worse up. He explained that he was at fault and Aarti has nothing to do with it, she was only concern for me, and hence she accompanied me. But nothing went in to the ears of Dad Scindia.

Finally Aarti speaked up….

Babuji. Humme pata hai hum phirsae aapke viswas thoda, lekin meine jo kuch bhi kiya aapki kehene pe kiya, aapne hi kehena tha Pati ki Saath dena ek Patni ka daram hota hai, ek farz hota hai, aur meine wohi kiya.I wanted my husband to fulfill his promise, and as a wife it's my duty to be with him and help him. Yashji ne Neelamji sae wada kiya tha that he will get her married to her love. Humme pata hai aapne mana kiya tha Yashji sae bahara janeka, aur aapne woh zamindari hume diya tha. And I know Yashji won't sit back and go against his promise, and I was right, and when I saw Yashji going out from back door, I decided to be with my husband and to help him, and also it's my responsibility to see him that he is safe.

Dad Scindia who was till now listening to Aarti said ….

But this won't give any solution to the problem that has arised, do u both know the grave of the mistake that U both have done.

Aarti - Babuji aapko Yashji ko achi taraf sae janti hai aur aap yeh bhi jaante hai unki zindagi mein pyar kya hai. Woh pyar ke liye kuch bhi karenge, He will even give up his life for it and I understood it that day in Minister's House. Because he believes to separate two people who are in love is a Sin.

Yash was looking at her keenly and observing her for the first time, he wondered how she understood him.

Later both were on their bed with their back towards each other, and Yash was thinking about Aarti's talk. And was wondering how she said his thoughts, as if reading him inside-out. He felt he owns a Thank you to her for handling the situation. Yash turned towards her and know like him she is also awake, so she called out for her.

Yash - Aartij …Thank you for helping me and handling the situation. Without you it was impossible. Thank you for everything.

Aarti – Its ok yashji, and u no need to thank me.

Yash – Aartiji …I need to ask U how u understood me so easily and U were saying things as if U were reading my mind …I mean how come?

Aarti – Yashji I am living with you for past few months, and I think I can understand you, if not wholly.

Yash - Aartiji has anyone said u that u r a great person, and he decided to give new dimension to their relationship in name of friendship and extended his hand for the same. So Aartiji Will u be my friend…?

Aarti was more in to accept it, after all its her love who is extending his hand for friendship, and who can she deny him in anything. Aarti happily accepted thus giving new name to their relationship. Both turned their side to sleep with a contentment smile for a new morning, new beginning.
