Link to Part 1 - The challenge
Part 3
When Arnav walked into his room that night, Khushi was standing in front of the mirror, combing her hair. He stopped at the door to admire his beautiful wife, draped in a bright red saree; he recognized the bangles in her hand, the same bangles he had bought for her before they got married. He walked slowly towards her; she felt a breeze and she turned around to see him walking towards her. "Arnavji", she stammered, "you have come home already." He stopped next to her and folded his arms, "Yes, Khushi. I missed you and I thought I will come home early to spend time with you." He smiled and reached out to touch her arms, but she shrugged away. She noticed that his eyes filled with pain when he saw her move away. Khushi felt bad, but she didn't want to let him touch her. She was not angry at him about the challenge; she was scared that she might lose the challenge. She knew she wouldn't be able to control herself if he touched her; she had spent the entire day craving his touch and his love. He turned around and accidentally knocked over a bag that was lying next to the recliner. "What is this, Khushi?" He bent down and picked up what looked like a small doll-size red lehenga with golden embroidery. Khushi smiled and took it from his hand, "I stitched that for Devi Maiyya. Everyone is going to the temple, so I thought I will take this to the temple and give it to the Devi Maiyya, so that she will bless our little princess." Arnav smiled and he moved closer to Khushi. She stepped back and put the lehenga back in the bag. Just then, Anjali called Khushi and she replied, "Coming Di". Khushi went to the wardrobe, picked up her purse, picked up the bag from the floor and ran to the door, without saying bye to Arnav. Arnav bit his lips and looked away.
Khushi threw the door open and ran to the recliner, "Where did I leave it? Where is it?" She looked around, but couldn't find it. "I remember keeping it back, where did it go?" Suddenly she froze; she heard splashing. She looked around, "Where is Arnavji?" She walked to the French door and stopped, her eyes wide with shock. She watched Arnav swimming in the pool, with breathtaking grace. She watched him in awe, hidden behind the French door, to make sure that he didn't see her. Her mouth opened wide, when she saw him push himself up from the pool onto the side, water dripping from his wet hair, down his neck and his chest and from his black speedo. Khushi gulped, swallowing the saliva that had accumulated in her mouth; she raised her eyebrows, realizing that she had been drooling. Khushi closed her eyes and shook her head; stop it, Khushi. What are you doing? She opened her eyes, I have done nothing wrong. He is my husband, of course I can admire him. Her eyes opened wide as she saw him take a towel from the recliner and wipe his body dry. Khushi gulped and started walking towards him, as if in a trance. She stood next to him and grabbed the towel from his hand. Arnav looked at her questioningly. He started saying something, but Khushi put a finger on his lips. He said nothing, but looked deep into her doe-like eyes that never left his face. She moved her fingers along his bottom lip, up his cheek and down along his stubble. Arnav closed his eyes, as he felt a tingling sensation in his body. Khushi's fingers traced the path of water droplets gliding along his neck and down his muscular shoulders and chest. She gulped again as her fingers touched the edge of his speedo. She quickly looked up into his eyes and she saw that he was looking at her, his eyes filled with love. She took his face in his hands, stood on her toes and pressed her lips against his. Arnav put his arms around her waist and kissed her back, with equal passion.
When they pulled apart to take a breath, Khushi looked into Arnav's eyes and her eyes widened. She turned around and started breathing rapidly. Arnav smiled; you have lost, Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada, when will you admit it? Khushi closed her eyes, Oh no, what did I just do? Khushi, why couldn't you control yourself? Why did you have to go and touch him and worse kiss him? So much for the challenge! You have lost, Khushi, unless.. unless, her eyes widened and a smile appeared on her face. She brought her hands together in prayer and looked up at the sky. Hey Devi Maiyya, please help me. You are my friend right, I need you to save me from this mess. Do something so that I will win the challenge. I'm fighting for love, Devi Maiyya. You have to help me. Suddenly there was thunder and Khushi felt a rain drop on her face. Khushi raised her eyebrows as she felt heavy rain fall on her; then it struck her. She closed her eyes, stretched her arms out and twirled. Arnav raised his eyebrows and then a smile appeared on his face, as he watched his wife enjoy the rain. He started moving towards her; he stopped as he realized that her saree was wet and stuck to her body, and he could see her curves clearly. Khushi stopped and lifted her pallu, as she twirled around. Arnav gulped again, as he saw water droplets sliding down her bare tummy.
Khushi stopped when she realized that her pallu was caught somewhere. She turned around and saw that Arnav had grabbed the end of her pallu. Her heart started beating fast and her breathing quickened; Arnav tugged the end of the pallu and pulled the saree off her, sending her twirling around, straight into his arms. Khushi crashed into his arms, shivering as the cold rain fell on her blouse, her petticoat and her skin. Arnav put his hand on her tummy and pulled out the pleats that were tucked into the petticoat; Khushi jerked feeling a chill down her spine. He dropped the saree on the ground and put his arms around her. Khushi could feel Arnav's heart beat fast, as she placed her head on his bare chest. Arnav put his hands on her arms and pulled her away. Khushi closed his eyes as she saw Arnav bend down; she could feel his kisses on her neck, which were sending jolts of electricity down her spine. As he placed kisses on her neck and her shoulders, he used his fingers to unhook her blouse. She shuddered as his fingers touched her skin. Arnav stopped and looked at Khushi, her eyes closed, her hands on his biceps, her lips apart and trembling, her chest heaving from her quickened breathing. He smiled and whispered in her ears, "Khushi, are you sure you want me to.." Khushi tightened her grip on his biceps and said, pleading, "Please, Arnavji, please don't stop." She took his hands and helped him remove the last hook on her blouse. He picked her up in his arms and walked into their bedroom.
Khushi put her head on Arnav's shoulder, her arm around his chest, her leg in between his legs and snuggled closer to him. She closed her eyes, with a smile on her face. Arnav put one arm on her arm that was around his waist and caressed her hair with his other hand. He kissed her forehead and smiled. Then with a naughty smirk and a twinkle in his eye, he called her name softly. "Khushi". She replied, "Hmm.." without moving, her eyes still closed. "You lost the challenge, Khushi." Her eyes flew open and she sat up on the bed, pulling the blanket up to her armpits. She looked at him and said stammering, "What do you mean?" She pointed at him and said, "You are the one who brought me in the room and threw me on the bed and started ' hmm.. you started it..!" Arnav sat up, moved closer to her and continued with a naughty smirk, "But that is because you begged me not to stop kissing you." Khushi became annoyed, "But that was because you removed my saree and started kissing me and I.. I.." "You kissed me first." Khushi looked away, with an angry face. "Ok, fine, I admit it. I can't control myself around you. Even I think about physical pleasure; I want to tear your clothes off, place kisses all over your body and hear you scream my name in pleasure. Are you happy now? Are you happy that I lost and you won?" Arnav smiled and placed his hands on her shoulders and turned her around to face him. "Yes, sweetheart, I am happy, I am happy because we both won. Our love won. Khushi, what you call as physical pleasure is just one of the different ways in which we express our love for each other. The fact that we want to make love to each other shows how much we love each other, how much we want to show our love for the other, how much we want to be with each other and how much we enjoy being with each other." He took her face in his hands, "I would never ever leave you, even if your body changes and you put on weight. Yes, I might not be able to carry you in my arms, but I will still try." Khushi pouted; Arnav smiled and pressed his forehead against hers. "I love you, sweetheart. I love my crazy wife and I won't be able to live even a moment without you beside me. So don't you dare say that I will get tired of you." Khushi smiled and nodded. She put her arms around his neck and placed a kiss on his cheek. She whispered in his ear, "So, do you want to show me, again, how much you love me?" Arnav's eyes widened and he looked at Khushi; she blushed. Arnav smiled as he pushed a giggling Khushi onto the bed again. He bent down to kiss her, then stopped and sat up on the bed. Khushi looked at him confused, as he reached forward to the side table and opened a drawer. Her eyes opened wide as she saw him take out the lehenga she had made for Devi Maiyya. She opened her mouth and said, "You hid it?" He nodded with a smile, "So that I would come back for it?" He nodded again. "So that I would see you.. swimming.." He nodded. "Arrrggghhh", she put her hands around his neck, acting as though she was trying to strangle him, then she put her arms around his chest and pulled him on top of her as she fell back on to the bed, giggling.
Arnav and Khushi walked down to the dining room, an hour later, hand-in-hand. Nani, Payal, Akash and Mami looked up and smiled; Arnav smiled seeing Anjali playing with her baby at the table. As Arnav and Khushi sat down, Nani asked, "Khushi bitiya, how are you feeling now? Anjali bitiya said that you had a headache, which is why you didn't come back". Khushi raised her eyebrows and looked at Anjali, confused. "Khushiji, I came home early because the baby started crying and you met me in the kitchen, remember. You had said you were going off to sleep, because you had a headache." Anjali smiled and Khushi nodded and said, stammering. "Oh.. yeah.. yeah'" Arnav looked confused and said, "What? Di, what are you.." He looked at Khushi, who winked at him and Arnav was taken aback. Their thoughts were interrupted when Nani and the others said good night and left the table, leaving Arnav, Khushi and Anjali at the table. Khushi placed the rotis on her and Arnav's plates while Arnav served dal in their bowls. Khushi started eating, but noticed that Anjali was looking at them, with a naughty smile on her face. Anjali took the baby in her arms and got up from the table. She was about to leave the table, when she stopped and asked, "Khushiji, I hope you did take your saree from the poolside." Khushi and Arnav stopped eating and stared at Anjali and then looked at each other, shocked. Suddenly Arnav started coughing; Khushi turned around to get water and saw Anjali extend her arm towards her, with a glass of water in her hand. "Ok, then", Anjali said, with a mischievous smile on her face, "I will let you two eat. You must be really hungry! Good night." She turned around and giggled, as she walked away with her baby asleep in her arms. Arnav and Khushi looked at each other and blushed, their hands clasped under the table.
