Disha Parmar aka Pankhudi recently bagged a lead role in Star Plus Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara. The actress had chosen acting over her studies.Disha didn't want to lose the big opportunity provided to her by Rajshri productions.Since Disha don't has any connection with actingand this is her debutante serial, when asked about how she prepared for her role, the actress provided that she was asked to see lot of Madhuri Dixit's movies.Along with Madhuri Dixit, she also saw movies like Parineeta of Vidya Balan and Devdas of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The idea was to catch up every minute detail and gestures that they do.Disha further added that she watched many more movies quiet closely.
