"Waise Geet,if you really know whatever I have done,then you surely must be knowing what Maan Singh Khurana did to my heart when I saw him for the first time.." said Rhea in a lustful voice eyeing seductively at Maan.
Maan was shell-shocked hearing Rhea.Geet's face grew pallid...Maan stared at her pale face not knowing what to say...
But then the next moment Geet looked calm.Her voice aired sarcasm"You know what Rhea!I really appreciate you!Even after creating...oops..I mean failing to create mis-understandings between Maan & me,you refuse to give up!Whoa!."
Then she turned towards Maan & said
"When she saw you for the first time as Dev's brother, Rhea was confident that she will make you go down in your knees & propose her with her beauty & sex appeal.Like all the other girls who wished & prayed incessantly to be MSK's love interest, even Rhea couldn't escape your charm.But when Dev introduded her to Dadima ,Rhea's pride of being a beauty queen was strangled as she realized that it is impossible that MSK could intensely love any girl.So she had to find some other way of acquiring KC & the will became a way to achieve it.." smirked Geet.
Maan gave a royal ignore to whatever Geet said about Rhea.
"Can we talk something significant,Geet?" asked Maan,irritated
"Ofcourse!Why not!" said Geet,"This part was edited by me but now that Rhea wanted so.." she smirked.Rhea was frustated.
"When did you realize Rhea was the culprit?"
"Yestarday night..after we left the party.."
"What!!!" exclaimed Maan shocked.Maan recollected that nothing had happened after the party and they did not talk about Dev or Rhea in the cottage..then how.."So do you mean,in these 10 days of being in KM,you suspected only Dev and suddenly yestarday night,you were sure it was Rhea!"
"Yup as Rhea had played her part very beautifully in these 10 days!"
"So what did she do yestarday night that raised your suspicion on her?"
"Rhea did not do anything,it was you who did everything...after the party.." Geet smiled slyly.Maan stared at her startled by her remark.Geet sensed that Maan might be thinking of what had happened between them in the cottage.She quickly added,"D-Don't get me wrong..Maan!"
But it was too late,Maan was already glaring at her. So she had received a warning from him to come straight to the point!Arjun,Annie & Dev stood there with confused faces.Looking at Maan,Geet spoke
"When I came here in this Mansion ten days ago,I was especially interested in Rhea as she was the wife of our suspect. Ins.Arjun told me that we need to see whether even Rhea was involved with Dev or else she was unknown Dev's doings.Rhea effortlessly confimed the latter to me.She gelled up so well with me & even the entire family seemed to happy with her.I had to believe in the impression that she gave me of being a docile & cherubic wife.Dev & Rhea believed that I really loved you & was unaware of the will but you were just using me as seen in the Pondicherry video.Then everyone in the Mansion got to know about the importance of the New York project for you.Rhea planned to destroy the project, once it got completed.Then one fine morning,you told me the project will be completed by the end of the day & then we should go out for a date.Later,I purposely told Rhea about our date that night as I saw Dev was around & I assumed that he might do something to the CD.But then he displayed no signs of being interested in the CD,i assumed Dev to be spurious.I was oblivious of the fact that Rhea had already planned to steal the CD...& indeed the CD was stolen.."
"Wait a minute Geet" said Maan,"Gopal had stolen the CD & now if Gopal is Arjun,the CD is supposed to be with you!" smirked Maan.
Arjun smiled but Geet sounded serious,"No Maan,the CD was really stolen from your cabin."
Rhea looked evilly,"The CD is destroyed now no presentation!"
"Well,I would like to disagree on the last part of your say!" said Geet cheekily.Rhea frowned at her while Geet continued,"You see it was I who took the project CD & replaced it with a fake one having a random project!.I gave the real CD to Gopal.Then I purposely entered the password wrong so that the cabin is open for the real thief sent by Rhea.There was no need for Gopal to give sleeping pills to the security which was obviously done by the man,Rhea had sent." she ended with a smirk.
"Here is your project Mr Khurana!" Arjun took out the CD from the pocket & handed it to Maan,"I guess Ms Geet loves startling you everytime! Actually the plan was made to disillusion Mr Dev but it worked for Rhea as well!"
Rhea was infuriated but she had nothing to speak.Dev was relieved to see the CD safe & sound.
Geet continued,"Then as expected the news of the theft broke in KC & Maan was angry.Dev came to know of the theft only after Maan accused him of stealing the CD as Rhea kept Dev in the dark regarding the CD.Dev immediately went & confronted Rhea but as usual,he couldn't go against her! Both he & Rhea were shocked seeing me able to pacify Maan,which was an impossible task.Rhea had doubts whether Maan really hated me or not..but then later she dismissed the idea obviously thinking that if Maan didn't fall for her,then he cannot fall for any other girl!I made Dev know that I would be doing the project again which was heard by Rhea also...yet again Rhea as the real culprit did not cross my mind..."
"Now Ins.Arjun wanted to know Dev's next move,he being the suspect.So I gave the impression that the project is almost completed!Hearing this,insecurities creeped in,not in Dev but in Rhea.Doubts of Maan loving me again graced her mind.Rhea decided to end the game once & for all.She planned to use Dev into manipulating me about the will & subsequently dissuade me from doing the project!"
"Firstly,Rhea wanted to see the property papers which were with Maan.She told Dev to search for the papers and get it to her.But Dev,for the first time,was not willing to do so.They had a tiff over it but Rhea finally convinced Dev.Then after searching hard, Dev went to Maan's room & got the papers.But just when Dev was about to exit Maan's room,he saw Rhea by the coridoor.She had come to see whether Dev had got the papers or not!And when she read the papers,she was shell-shocked & highly stunned when she read that I am made 51% shareholder & she knew Maan would do so only if he loved me...This shook her to such an extent that she vowed to get me out of Maan's life & for that she would even resort to killing... "
"Then before we went out for shopping yestarday,I showed a news article to Rhea.She acted perfectly putting up a pallid face.She was very successful in conveying me that Dev was the culprit & she knows that & she is with him because she loves him!!Excellent!!I was more sure only Dev was into this & Rhea was helpless.But still the intensity of calmness which Rhea displayed during our convo pricked my mind unconsciously...Anyways,I saw Dev's reflection behind the coridoor of the room & spoke out loudly that I hate dishonesty & fraud.Rhea heard that & so did Dev...I guessed that now the 'truth' of the will might be shown to me..."
"And indeed,Dev manipulated me with the will through 'carrom' language.And ofcourse I was shattered as I was in turmoil..because I sensed Maan's life is in great danger.For,the second time,I felt Dev was being forced.This time I could feel his uneasiness in the air.The striker of the carrom board in his hand was shaking...I was unsure of Dev being the real culprit but then this could also be an illusion from him..I was back to square one..not knowing who was the real one.Dev? or perhaps Rhea?Are both together involved?or are both faking?...or is there any 'outsider' involved...I was confused..utterly confused..." Geet paused..
"When the party started,I saw that Rhea & Dev were standing seperatly as if something was wrong between them but when Rhea called him to dance with her,he literally walked like a puppet..as if hypnotised!I couldn't make out what was going on!"
"Okay, Now when I came to the party,your full session acting was going on of being rueful to me." said Maan
"Yeah...then I purposely headed to your room with you following me."
"That's what startled me!The way you went up the stairs,I thought I have to follow you all around the Mansion!!!" Maan gave a short laugh & then said,"But we were alone in the room right?Still you faked anger??"
"Who told we were alone in the room???You had forgot to lock the door! & so Dev heard whatever you said to me & I said to you!!!"
Maan looked at Dev,he nodded.Geet spoke.
"And yet again,there was no victory smile on Dev's face seeing mis-understanding between us,his face was white ...which again put me into a fix!"
"Anyways,I again came down to the party hall & keenly watched Dev & Rhea dance.Dev was stoned as if he was mentally absent from the party.Rhea danced passionately.Then you too came down,I was supposed to ignore & avoid you but...you made things difficult for me..." Geet paused & stared at Maan.He knew that yestarday he had a lot of drinks,her eyes were moist in pain & they danced..Geet continued,"We danced...Dev & Rhea saw that...I thought whoever was the culprit might have sensed something fishy & may have come to know that I was faking...I was determined to ensure that nothing happens to you...so--"
Maan interrupted Geet in between,"So you thought to leave from there & you wanted me to come after you & surely I did.And you sat in the car,when I sat beside you,you did not protest,instead drove away as fast as you could..."
Geet nodded.She shivered a little at the dreadful thought of what could have happened if Maan would have stayed in the Mansion yestarday night...Maan stared at her.His assuptions were correct about her.She was never ever angry with him...& she drove the car rashly that night because she was unable to understand who exactly was behind everything...And just like him,she too feared of his life being in danger,so she had to hide everything from him...
"So Geet! how did you finally realize it was Rhea?" asked Annie in a choked voice who spoke after a very long time.She had been glued to th floor,shocked & startled hearing the dark revelations one after the other...
Geet continued "Maan & I drove to the outskirts of the city...I somewhere knew it was either Dev or Rhea,they both can't be in,one of them was utterly 'forced', but how?By blackmail?..I couldnt understand as various possibilities popped my mind...& then a final Eureka! A remark made my Maan changed the entire scenerio & made me see clearly who was the mastermind!!"
"What did I say to you?" asked Maan curiously.
