Khushi opened her eyes; her head was resting on Arnav's chest, his arms around her. She looked up at his face and saw him smiling, looking at her. "Good morning", she said, yawning. "Good morning, Khushi", he said with a naughty smile. Khushi's eyes widened; she could feel his fingers trail down her spine. She squirmed with pleasure and closed her eyes. He trailed his fingers around her waist and she giggled, feeling tickled. She jumped up from the bed and as she did, the blanket fell off her. She looked down, blushed and pulled the blanket to cover herself. Arnav sat up and moved closer. "Arnavji, you were tickling me", she said, moving away. He moved closer, put his arms around her waist and pulled her close. He looked into her eyes, his eyes twinkling and with a playful smile on his face. She struggled to get away from his strong hold, and he raised his eyebrows, "You are trying to get away from me? I wouldn't do that if I were you". He ran his fingers all over her body and she started giggling uncontrollably and rolling on the bed, as his fingers tickled her. Finally she jumped off the bed, wrapped in the blanket and pointed a finger at him. "Don't you dare come near me, Arnavji? I will scream." Arnav got off the bed and walked towards her. Khushi stepped back as he came towards her. "Oh really? And when Naniji and Di come running, how will you explain yourself.. why are you wrapped in only a blanket?" Arnav asked, with a naughty smile on his face. Khushi blushed a deep crimson and stammered, "I.. I.. Arnavji, stay right there.. don't come any closer." "Too late", Arnav put his hand out to grab her arm, but she ran and climbed on top of the bed. "Khushi, careful." Arnav shouted, seeing how his wife was trying to balance herself on the bed. Just as she heard his voice, she accidentally stepped on the blanket and she fell down on the bed. Arnav ran to the bed and put his arms on either side of her, so she couldn't get up. "Now who will save you, Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada!" He started to tickle her again and she started laughing loudly. While laughing, she stammered, "Arnavji, stop please. Someone will hear me laugh. What will they think?" Arnav smiled, watching his wife laugh. "Well, I'm sure no one can hear us, else they would have heard your screams last night, right". Arnav winked and Khushi blushed. She put her hands on Arnav's bare chest and pushed him away. She picked up the blanket, wrapped it around her and ran to the bathroom.

When Arnav came down to the dining room, Khushi was sitting at the table next to Anjali, in deep conversation with her. Arnav sat down next to her, and Khushi raised her eyebrows, feeling his presence. She turned around, saw him and looked around nervously. "Khushi", Arnav said softly, trying to control his laughter. "Can you pass me the parathas?" Khushi nodded, nervously. She reached to grab the paratha and Arnav put his fingers on her waist and tickled her. She giggled, twitched her body and dropped the plate of parathas on the table. As she did that, everyone on the table, Nani, Anjali, Payal, Akash, Mamiji and Mamaji looked at Khushi. Khushi raised her eyebrows in shock, looked at the paratha plate and then at everyone else. "Khushi bitiya, are you alright?" Naniji asked, concerned. Anjali put a hand on Khushi's arm. "Khushiji, what happened?" Khushi stammered, "Di, Naniji, I..", she turned to look at Arnav, who had a wide grin on his face, his eyes twinkling. "Tell Arnavji to stop what he is doing." Nani and Anjali had a puzzled look on their faces. "Chotte, what are you doing?" Nani asked, turning to Arnav. Arnav shook his head, with a puzzled look on his face. "Nani, I have no idea what she is talking about." Khushi stood up, pointing his finger at Arnav. "Naniji, he is lying. Ask him what he has been doing to me since morning." Arnav looked at Khushi, and said softly. "Khushi, I don't think it would be appropriate for me to tell everyone what I have been doing to you since morning". Anjali, Nani and Payal tried to control their smiles and blushed. Khushi looked at Arnav, her mouth wide open. She closed her hands into fists, made an annoyed pouty face and screamed, "Arrghhh..". She turned to run away, but Arnav grabbed her hand and pulled her down on to her seat. "Eat something, Khushi." She was about to refuse, but Arnav put a piece of paratha dipped in yogurt in her mouth. She looked at him, wide-eyed and he shook his head. "Be quiet, and eat, ok?" She closed her mouth, started chewing and nodded her head. She turned back to her plate, and started eating, but kept looking at Arnav, nervously. Anjali noticed this and wondered, Why is Khushiji looking nervous? Is she scared of Chotte? I wonder what happened between them. Khushi finished eating and stood up suddenly. Arnav looked at her, his eyebrows raised. "Khushi", he started, but Khushi looked at him, looked at everyone else scared, turned around and ran.

Arnav smiled and got up to go after her, but Anjali grabbed his hand. "Chotte, what happened? Why is Khushi scared of you? Why is she running away from you?" Arnav watched Khushi as she ran up the stairs and down the corridor towards their bedroom; he said, absent-mindedly, with a grin on his face, "She wants me to catch her." Then he realized what Anjali had asked. He turned to see his sister looking worried. "Chotte, tell me the truth. Are you fighting again? Did you scold her? Did you.. ehmm.. hurt.. her?" Arnav raised his eyebrows and sat down next to her, put his hands on her arms. "Di, don't you even think that. I would never ever hurt her. I love her, Di. And Khushi ran from me, because", Arnav blushed, "she is just mad at me for something.. hmm.. that I..." He got up from his chair and looked at everyone, "well.. Di.. I think I should go and appease my wife." Anjali giggled and Arnav looked up to see everyone on the table smiling. He turned around and ran up the stairs.

As he stepped into their bedroom, he could feel her presence; he turned and looked at the poolside and there she was, talking to herself, his crazy Khushi! He tiptoed to her, put his hands around her waist and pressed her back against his chest. Khushi said, stammering, "Arnavji, please don't tickle me." Arnav smiled and turned her around to face him. He released her from his grip and folded his arms. "Ok, no more tickling." Khushi heaved a sigh of relief, then stepped back and asked, with an annoyed face. "But why were you tickling me? You know I don't like that." Arnav smiled and took her face in his hands. "I tickled you, because I wanted to hear your laugh. I wanted to know that you were happy, happy being with me. I have given you so much pain, Khushi, now all I want is to give you happiness, to see you smile and hear your laughter. I love you, Khushi." Khushi's eyes filled with tears; she stood on her toes and leaned closer to Arnav, to brush her lips against his. "I love you too, Arnavji", she whispered as she put her arms around him and hugged him tight. "I am happy, very happy. I have never been this happy in my life ever before. You make me happy, Arnavji. See I could have told you that; you didn't have to tickle me!". Arnav replied, with a grin, "But this is more fun!" Suddenly Khushi shrieked with laughter and pulled away as Arnav started tickling her again. Squeals of laughter filled the air as Arnav chased Khushi around the poolside.
