V: good'

Arnav and Lavanya stood infront of the bed looking blankly at Vishal.

V: "okkay now, Arnav sit down on the floor, with your back resting on the mattress edge, front face okkay'"

A: "yeah'" he did as instructed.

V: "Lavanya sit on the mattress and put your legs on Arnav's shoulder'like both the legs on the same side and lie down."

La: "great!" she said in a very cheerful manner.

Arnav turned to her, his eyebrows up.

Vishal gave her a weird look and Khushi; well she just gaped at her cheerfulness'

Vishal asked the trolley controller to take him to the side front of the mattress' so that he could cover both of them.

He took a diagonal angle.

*CLICK*

V: "good now' Arnav and Lavanya get up on the bed and go upto the headrest. Yeah, good' Lavanya go and sit on his lap'" Lavanya did so' All her attitude, tantrums, everything was gone and she was enjoying the closeness. But Arnav wasn't at ease. He had a disgusted look on his face.

V: "rest your back on his chest and your head on his shoulder' Arnav, dude' what's wrong with you? Wrap your arms round her waist man."

Arnav followed his instructions'

V: "okkay, now eye lock pose' love smile' right' ready?"

The moment he said ready, Arnav's disgust vanished, Arnav's expression turned to the most romantic one.

*CLICK*

Khushi was amused to see the expressions on their faces. Two people who were fighting over a seat about an hour ago were posing such mushily.

She heard an "Enough!" from Arnav which brought her back to reality.

A: "enough is enough Lavanya' why don't you realise that it's over between us. No matter how close you come I'll never go back to you."

La: "But ASR, I just want you to rethink."

A: "don't try! And 2ndly I don't like to mix up my professional and personal life."

V: "okkay'okkay' just one more and then you can leave Arnav."

A: "just one Vish!" he almost threatened him.

Khushi was dumbstruck. She couldn't believe that a person who had been the sweetest of all to her was being so rude and arrogant to Lavanya' well, he did say that he had broken up with her, but if he could be such a sweetheart with a person whom he didn't know at all, how could he be a totally different one with someone whom he had been in a relationship with, in the past.

Vishal's voice brought her back, "that's a very good pose guys."

She turned around to see Arnav lie flat on the bed and Lavanya had crawled over him. She was partially on him' her face was just inches apart from him. Arnav's hands were round her waist.

They looked into each others eyes as if they were in love and can remain that way forever.

Vishal took a diagonal bottom angle to shoot them.

V: good' ready?"

*CLICK*

V: well done guys'

Arnav almost pushed Lavanya off him and got down form the bed'

Lavanya's attitude was back' she stepped down from the bed to leave when,

V: "Lavanya' go get change' we'll do your solo now'

La: I am not doing any solo'

A: you are...

Khushi was startled to realise that he was standing just behind her'

La: ASR, you cannot'

A: you will shoot the solo now and that's final'

La: ASR'

A: No solo, no interview tomorrow.

Lavanya was very particular, when it was related to her popularity.

She hastily walked into her changing room and slammed the door, close.

Arnav went in to change. He came out to find Khushi bent over Vishal from behind as she was looking at the pictures.

A: see you tomorrow, Vish.

Khushi straightened up and Vishal stood up.

V: yeah, at the SSF.

A: when?

V: the interviewer would be there by 11am, 10:30?

A: 10:30?

They declared in union. Both of them smiled and nodded.

A: umm' Khushi how are you gonna go home? Lemme drop you'

K: well, I have a friend, who has a Ford Fiesta, and just because I love Ford cars' I wanted to go with him, but he is supposed to work for some more time' I would 1^st ask him' Vishal, what do you think will be his answer?

Vishal stood up, for the 1^st time since the Lavanya incident Arnav saw Vishal in such a happy mode.

He admired how Khushi could manage to lighten up someone's mood with such ease.

V: well, I think' he'll ask you if you can stay here till 8, 8:30' But again you have a hurt foot and you must be tired as it was a very eventful day, so you should leave with Arnav.

K: okkay then' I guess I'll have to ride his Ford Fiesta some other time then.

V: yeah sure' I'll make sure that he takes you on a ride.

K: what about my Scooty?

A: Vishal, can you ask Jai to take it round the corner and park it at SSF parking?

V: yeah, I'll ask him to do that. Don't worry Khushi' that's a safe place, and you can take that tomorrow when you come for the interview.

K: no' no interview'

A: come on you designed the garden set and you are the film's creative director, you have to do the interview'

K: but'

V: no buts Khushi'

A: come on let's go'

K: bye Vishal'

A: night Vish'

V: good night guys'

A: so where do you stay?

K: 4^th Road Juhu Scheme.

A: hey even I live there'

K: oh' I didn't know that'

A: hmmm'.

K: actually I returned from London just about a week ago so'

A: heyy that's okay.

They kept quiet for sometime'

A: umm'. The Lavanya thing'

K: I didn't tell her anything'

A: no' I mean about our break up'

K: oh don't worry I wont tell that to anybody, either.

A: thanks'

Khushi smiled.

K: can I ask you something?

A: yeah sure'.

K: why did you say that the car wasn't Lavanya's?

A: well, there's a story behind that'

K: personal I guess'?

A: yeah, but now that we share a secret, or rather secrets I can tell you'

K: hmm'

A: I had gifted it to her on her birthday.

K: so it's after all her car'

A: well, she was supposed to return it back to me after we had broken up, but she didn't, whereas I had returned all her gifts.

K: okkay, now that's not a right thing' technically it's your car.

A: uh'yup'

K: oh shit' that also means' that I destroyed your car.

A: uh' well you helped me in one way or the other, I was gonna destroy it myself.

K: what?

A: umm'nothing'where do I turn from here?

K: umm' you can drop me here'

A: right or left Khushi?

K: it's okkay I can'

A: right or left?

K: right'

He turned rightward.

A: you know' Payel's house is in this very lane'

K: Payel? She asked suppressing a smile.

A: yup, Payel Gupta' She's my favourite designer. Which house?

K: That one' the white one.

A: okkay' hey just a minute' that's Payel's house' heyy' you are Khushi Gupta' Shashi Gupta's daughter?

K: umm' yeah'

A: oh' you are that London girl. And now I understand the 'Pashe ' thing' it's a modified version of Payel + Khushi' Why didn't any one tell me that'? Khushi smiled as he tried to workout her background.

K: well no one on the set knows that' I mean, except you.

Pashe is one of the most renowned brands of B 'Town. Shashi Gupta and Garima Gupta had started it together. Payel Gupta, Khushi's sister took over the designing part when Shashi retired. Payel is a very talented designer and Pashe became more popular after Payel had taken over. Shashi and Garima handle the public appearances part. Khushi grew up in London, where she stayed with her Buaji. She returned to India after completing her graduation in cinematography. She became interested in set designing and so returned to London to complete her masters in designing. She returned to India about a week ago and started applying for the post of a creative director. Finally she got the job at SSF.

A: but'

K: I don't want people to say that my father backed me up. I know this cannot remain a secret for long but still I wanna do something with my own calibre.

A: I respect that' I don't know if you remember' I debuted as Arnav Singh' not Arnav Singh Raizada'

K: yeah' I remember.

A: even I wanted to see if things work out without using the Raizada magic'

K: and it did work out well'

A: umm' yeah but then' we couldn't hide the 'Raizada'' but I have vouched not to work under the Raizada banner.

K: that's good' I respect and appreciate your thought.

A: well many people don't.

K: hmm' I know.

A: yeah, so there you are'

K: now that you know my secret and Jiji is your favourite designer, I would like to invite you in'

A: umm'

K: please'

A: okay'

A: good night Khushi' he waved at her.

She had walked out of the house with him'

A: shall I pick you up tomorrow?

K: why will you take the pain to come over and'

A: it won't be a problem. I'll pick you up at 10:15' okkay?

K: but'

A: okkay' good night'

K: uh' good night'.

K: "jiji, you didn't even tell me, that you have been designing for Arnav Singh Raizada' you know na that I love him'"

She said kissing a life size poster of Arnav Singh Raizada' standing with his hands in his pocket, bare body' and wearing an orange engineers helmet' smirking.

P: pagal kahin ki' (crazy girl) she said pulling her away from the poster'

K: jiji'!

P: Khushi' I hope you didn't behave this way infront of Arnav?

Khushi had flashes of the car incident, foot incident' Lavanya screaming' and finally bed scene'

K: umm'. No no' never'. And saying this she ran into the bathroom.

P: don't run' you have a sore foot' god' you didn't even tell me how this happened and neither did Arnav tell me.

K: umm'I'm sorry, but not today Vishal' I've go to a few relative's place today'so'sorry'

V: heyy' why are you saying sorry? That's ok' we'll be meeting each other, every day, once the processes begin, in 2 weeks' so I'll give you a fiesta ride' and as a punishment for 2 sorry you have to give me a Scooty pep ride' promise?

K: deal' she said with a smile'
